Jean Rickard
Jean Louise Rickard, age 78 of Big Sandy, died Sunday August 17th at her home.
She was an auxilary member of the American Legion Post 89 and was an Honarary Member of the Indian Nations Warriors and Veterans Honor Color Guard out of Washington DC.
There will be a Memorial serve at graveside at a later date.
Memorials may be made to: American Diabetes Association, National Processing Center, P.O. Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312.

Rex Jackson
Rex Jackson, age 90 of Puryear, died Sunday August 17th at his home.
He was a member of the Puyear United Methodist Church and retired from the US Postal Service and Holley Carburetor Plant.
Visitation will be 4-7pm Tuesday August 19th and after 9am Wednesday August 20th. Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11am at McEvoy Funeral home with burial at Conyersville Methodist Church Cemetery.

Shellie Parker
Shellie Frances Boyd Parker, age 96, of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Plumley Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn. She married Julian Vincent Parker May 17, 1941, who died November 21, 1994. She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. She retired from Holley Carb. Plant.
She was the daughter of the late Richard Boyd and the late Lydia Coleman Boyd.
She is survived by her Grandson Randall Parker and his son Connor Parker both of Union City and Daughter-in-law Pat Parker of Paris, Tenn.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, August 18, 2014 and after 9:00 AM Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Her funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 19, 2014, with Lynn King officiating. Interment will be at Memorial cemetery in Paris, Tenn.

Tom Dowty
Thomas "Tom" Dowty, age 73 of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, August 14 at Henry County Medical Center.
Dowty is survived by his wife, Joy Dowty of Paris, Tenn.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 16 from 4 to 7 PM and on Sunday, August 17 from 12 PM to 1:30 PM at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, August 17 at 2 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Pat Shobe
Pat Shobe, age 73 of Paris, Tenn., died Wednesday, August 13 at her residence.
Shobe was born June 21, 1941 in St. Louis to the late William S. Schell, Sr. and the late Barbara E. Milam Schell. She married Jerry Schobe of Paris, Tenn. on June 7, 1958; he survives.
Shobe was a member of East Wood Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Shobe is preceded in death by her brother William S. Schell, Jr.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, Shobe is survived by her sister Barbara (Bill) Wagner of Arnold, Mo.; daughters Terri (Ken) Donahue of Paris, Tenn., Julie (Bob) Leach of Paris, Tenn., Laura (Jeff) Dillard of Smyrna, Tenn., and Robin (Don) Brewer of Paris, Tenn.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 12:30 PM Saturday, August 23 at East Wood Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, August 23 at East Wood Church of Christ.
Memorial donations may be made to the Tennessee Children's Home,
P.O. Box 10, Spring Hill, TN 37174
or to the East Wood Church of Christ Youth Group, 800 East Wood Street, Paris, TN 38242

Sue Ellis
Sue Ellis, age 82, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
Sue was a member of Central Point Baptist Church. She was retired from Henry County Medical Center after 21 years as an X-ray Technician. Her family said that she was truely an angel going home.
She was born December 19, 1931 in Cottage Grove, TN to the late Basil W. Atkins and the late Gladys B. Nichols Atkins.
Sue is survived by her Former Husband, Bob Ellis of Paris, TN; Daughter-Patricia Priddy & Special Friend Terry Horton of Paris, TN; 3 Grandchildren, Russ (Anita) Rogers, Jason Priddy, Sandra (Doug) Smith; and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Besides her Parents, Sue was also preceded in death by Daughter-Carolyn Rogers, Son-Robert Ellis, Sister-Elwanda Atkins and Brother-Glen Atkins.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Wednesday, August 13, 2014 and after 9 am Thursday, August 14, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 14, 2014.
Bobby Campbell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Terry Horton, Adam Rogers, Justin Bruce, Matt Goetz, Eddie Ray Ellis and Ricky Moon.
Interment will be at Olive Branch cemetery near Cottage Grove, Tenn.

Kay Morris
Dorsie Kay Morris, age 64 of Paris, died on August 11th at Jackson Madison County Hospital.
Kay was a Homemaker, a wonderful cook who dearly loved her family and especially catered to her grandchildren. She was an animal lover who enjoyed her horses and was an expert marksman.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday August 13th and after 11am on Thursday August 14th. Funeral will be at 2pm on Thursday

Anonetta Paschall
Sarah Anzonetta Paschall, age 77, of Puryear, Tenn., died Monday, August 11, 2014, at Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married to Gervis "Jack" Paschall, February 9, 2011, and he survives.
Anzonetta was a retired office assistant from Emerson and she was a member of North Fork Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and cooking.
She was born March 31, 1937 in Flint, MI to the late Douglas Clayton Ross and the late Dora Mae Nichols Ross.
Besides her husband she is also survived by her Daughter, Lenette Hatman Pinchback of Jackson, Tenn;
Two Sons, Douglas Hatman of Houston, Texas, Noel (Patti) Hatman of Paris, Tenn; Son-In-Law, Gary Keasler of Pendleton, S.C.; Three Step Daughters, Anne (Roy) Paschall of Puryear, Tenn, Glenda (Joe) Lankford of Paris, Tenn, Judy (Rickie) Orr of Puryear, Tenn; One Sister, Ruth Mae Schnarr of Lafayette, Ind; Grandchildren, Amanda (Daniel) Pawley, Jason (Amy) Hatman, Carly Underwood, A.J. Underwood
Mark Pinchback Jr., Blake Pinchback, Colton Keasler & Cayce Keasler; Great Grandchildren, Alexa, Mya and Mattie Hatman and Payton Underwood; 6 Step Grandchildren and 7 Step Great Grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Anzonetta was also preceded in death by a Daughter, Becky Keasler and a Brother, Robert Ross.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 10 am to 2 pm Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Barry Smith will officiate. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will be at Paschall cemetery near Puryear, Tenn.

Eva Lee
Eva M. Pennington Lee, age 94, of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, August 9, 2014, at her residence in Paris, Tenn.
Eva married August 2, 1942 to Jasper Dare "J.D." Lee and he preceded in death November 11, 2002.
She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church for 65 years and she attended Toler Business College. Eva worked as a Human Resource Manager for Mitchum Company for several years. She also worked as Henry County's Welcome Wagon Hostess for many years. She was also a member of the Garden Club and the Town and County Homemakers Club.
She was born October 10, 191 in Paris, TN to the late Denton Pierce Pennington and the late Verna Elizabeth Scott Pennington.
She is survived by her One Son, Steve (Patricia) Lee of Bonita Springs, Fla; Son-In-Law, LeRoy Parish of Paris, Tenn; Four Grandchildren, Curt (Nancy) Parish of Murfreesboro, TN, Sonya Parish (Michael) Hopkins of Hermitage, TN, Cindy Lee of Fort Myers, FL, Alicia Lee of Perth, Australia.
Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her Daughter, Rosalyn Kay Lee Parish.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation wil be from 4 – 7 pm Tuesday, August 12, 2014 and after 9 am Wednesday, August 13, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Paul Veazey and Corey Cain will officiate. Pallbearers will be Steve Clendenin, Carroll Lashlee, Glenn Lee, Jimmy Barrett, Gary Doughten, and Sonny Reeves. Honorary Pallbearers will be LeRoy Parish and Pete Bucy.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tenn.
Memorials may be made to Maplewood Baptist Church, 8700 Hwy 218 Bypass, Paris, TN 38242.
