Margaret Peterson
Margaret Elizabeth Peterson, age 85, of Murray, Ky., died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Signature Healthcare of Erin in Erin, Tenn. She was a Christian and Baptist in faith. She was the widow Charles Wesley Peterson, he died Feb. 19, 1983.
She was a former L.P.N. at Nobles Clinic, Chesemore Clinic & Henry County Hospital in Paris, TN.
She was the daughter of the late Charles A. Hunter and the late Maggie Lee Ralston.
She is survived by her niece Judy Hillard of Paris, a nephew Buddy Hillard and a great niece Tracy (Justin) Cunningham of Murray, KY.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM Saturday, June 14, 2014.
A graveside service will be held at Rose Lawn Memory Garden at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 14, 2014, with Justin Cunningham officiating. Interment will be at Rose Lawn Memory Garden.

Ray Burnette
Ray Dudley Burnette, age 62, of Big Sandy, Tenn., died Monday, June 9, 2014, at Camden General Hospital in Camden, Tenn. He was a member of the New Beginning Church of God.
He was a truck driver for Wilson Farms.
He was the son of the late Bruce Burnette and Ellen Elizabeth Johnson Burnette of Paris.
He is also survived by his two sons, Mark (Christy) Burnette of Big Sandy, Tenn., & Michael (Dana) Burnette of Paris, Tenn.; Three Brothers, Mike (Sandy) Burnette of Arkansas, Gary Wayne Burnette of Jackson, Tenn. & Ronnie Burnette of Paris, Tenn.
Mr. Burnette also leaves five grandchildren: Dylan (Lexi) Burnette, Faith Burnette, Charity Burnette, Nathan Gaskins & Colin Gaskins and one great grandchild, Alleigh Burnette.
He was preceded in death by a daughter in law Laura Burnette and a grandchild Tad Marr.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at the New Beginning Church of God in Big Sandy, TN at 6:00 PM Thursday, June 12, 2014, with Jeff McKee officiating. Friends may visit with family beginning at 4:00 PM at the church.

Bill Harris
William Joel Harris (Bill) of Centerville, Ohio formerly of Paris, Tn loving husband of Mae Harris (deceased) and wonderful, caring father to Larry and Daryl Harris, died Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Centerville, Ohio.
Bill was born December 2, 1928 in Buchanan, Tn to Lake and Grace Harris who have proceeded in death.
Bill and Mae married May 10, 1948. Bill was a member of Springboro Baptist Church in Springboro, Ohio. Bill loved his family. He grieved for the last year for Mae. He was very close to his sons, Larry and Daryl. He spoke regularly to his brother-in-law Earl Shankle and stayed in touch with his nieces and nephews and other relatives.
He is survived by sons, Daryl of Fishers, Indiana and Larry (Jan) of Centerville, Ohio. Grandchildren Joel Evan (Sarah Ann) Harris of Winnetka, Illinois and Ashley Rebecca (Hunter) Chastain of Rogers, AR and Great Grandchildren, Lane Marie Harris, Burke Hopkins Harris, Willa Ann Harris, Harper Harris Chastain and Lake Marshal Chastain.
He was preceded in death by sister Virginia Harris, brothers Rulon, Elroy, Voyce, Voyle, Paul, Glen and his twin brother Bob.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 12 from 4-8 pm and after 9:00 am Friday at
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tn 38242.
The funeral Service will be at 10 am Friday, June 13, at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Beaverdam cemetery near Buchanan TN.
Donations to the Wounded Warrior Project are welcome in lieu of flowers.

Red Swisher
Forest Irvin “ Red” Swisher, age 89, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, June 6, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was married to Dorothy "Dottie" Chandler Swisher June 27, 1953 and she survives.
He was a retired welder, having worked for companies in Illinois and Tennessee. After retiring he worked for Kroger in Paris. He was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church and a US Army WWII veteran. While living in Illinois he was a band leader and played in many bands. He loved to sing as well as play in those bands. He loved his family and animals. Red also fed and cared for the community dog "Rebel" that he called “Adam” on Volunteer Drive for several years.
Red was born January 17, 1925 in Mattoon, IL to the late Forest Swisher and the late Slyvia Perkins Swisher Whitley.
Besides his wife he is also survived by his Three Daughters, Donna Marie Mitchell of San Antonio, Texas, Patricia Rose Simpson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Linda Darlene Daughhetee of Casey, Ill; Two Sons, Dan (Sue) Baker of McKenzie, Tenn, Forest "Sonny" Swisher, Jr. of Lerna, Ill; One Sister, Lois Schwartz of Mattoon, Ill; 14 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.
No visitation is planned. The funeral service will be Graveside at Mansfield Baptist cemetery at 3:00 PM Monday, June 9, 2014.
Virgil Bishop will officiate.
Interment will be at Mansfield Baptist Church cemetery in Mansfield, Tenn.

Olyne Cooper
Olyne Marie Conrad Cooper, age 96, of Springville, Tenn., died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married October 21, 1944 to James H. Cooper, he preceded in death June 16, 1995.
Olyne was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Paris, TN and a homemaker.
She was born June 12, 1917 in Athens, Wisconsin to the late Adolph Conrad and the late Bertha Kropp Conrad.
She is survived by her niece and care giver, Cheryl Phillips and her family, Jeff (Rachel) Wood of Springville, TN and several other Nieces and Nephews.
Besides her husband and Parents, Olyne was also preceded in death by sisters, Loretta Annast, Dorothy Schmidt, and Esther Frahm; and brother, Walter August Conrad.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm Saturday, June 7, 2014.
The Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 7, 2014.
Luther Hasz will officiate.
Interment will be at Antioch cemetery in Springville, Tenn.

James Paul McMinn
James Paul McMinn, 82 of Knoxville, formerly of Paris, died Tuesday June 3rd in Knoxville.
James retired from TVA in 1986 after 35 years of service. He enjoyed stamp collecting, coin collecting, and reading.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Saturday June 7th with a graveside service at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation is 12-2pm on Saturday at McEvoy Funeral home.

Shirley Kelley
Shirley Ann Kelley, age 58, of Springville, Tenn., died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at her Daughters home in Paris, Tenn.
Shirley was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a 1973 Graduate of Dresden High School and a 1975 Graduate of West TN Business College. She formerly worked as an optician at Harrison Eye Clinic and worked at Buchanan Resort for many years. She loved her Grandchildren very much and enjoyed playing the piano and singing.
She was born November 5, 1955 in Union City, TN to the late Doyle Mitchell Gatewood and the late Mildred Elizabeth Thompson Gatewood.
She is survived by her Two Daughters, Deanna Kirstein of Paris, Tenn, Charity (Gene) Courtney of Dresden, Tenn; One Son, John (Tracy) Kelley of Paris, Tenn; Nine Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Visitation will continue Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 1 – 2 pm at Point Pleasant Baptist Church.
The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Point Pleasant Baptist Church.
Dwight Mercer will officiate.
Entombment will be in Rose Lawn Mausoleum in Paris, Tenn.

Kaye Donna Wade
Kaye Donna Wade, 69 of Paris, died Sunday June 1st.
Funeral service 11:00AM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Elder Tom Andrews of the Foundry Hill Community of Christ Church officiating, burial will follow at Foundry Hill Community of Christ Church Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Homer Maddox, Kenneth Bennett, Myron Berry, David Paschall, Bobby Thompson and Clarence Barham. Honorary pallbearers are Bert Paschall, Danny Barham, Mike Hearnsburger, Douglas Hearnsburger and Dennis Hearnsburger.
Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Tuesday and after 9:00AM Wednesday.
She is survived by her husband Frederick Wade, Paris, they were married December 16, 1963 and her mother Juanita Wilson Ross of Paris.
Preceded by her father Herbert Junior Ross July 15, 2003.
