Bill Thomason
William Rhea “Bill” Thomason, age 73, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Monday, May 19, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was married July 18, 1981 to JoAnn Miller Thomason, and she survives.
Bill attended Point Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a Retired US Navy 19 year veteran and was A P.O.W. during Vietnam. He then worked for the military as Director of Diversified Contract in Sacramento, California. Bill was a life member of V.F.W. and a Member of the American Legion and an avid fisherman.
He was born October 31, 1940 in Paris, TN to the late Mark Thomason and the late Estelle Bennett Adams.
Besides his wife, Bill is also survived by his Two Daughters, Kristen Diane (Wayne) Human of Sevierville, Tenn, Dawn (Doug) Levey of San Diego, Calif; Six Sons, Donnie Thomason of San Diego, Calif, Ronnie (Susie) Thomason of San Diego, Calif, Steve (Melissa) Pagel of New Concord, Ky, Dean Pagel of Sevierville, Tenn, Keith Pagel of Sevierville, Tenn, Thomas Rhea Thomason of San Diego, Calif.
One Brother, Billy Joe (Tammy) Adams of Murray, Ky; 18 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; Special Friends, Dave and Rita Riola of Paris, TN and Danny Shore of Kansas City, MO.
Besides his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Wayne Thomason
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Thursday, May 22, 2014.
Cremation will follow the visitation.

Jack Gream
Jack Gream, 76 of Paris, passed away Monday May 19th at his residence.
Funeral service will be at 2:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dennis Graham (brother-in-law) and Phillip Boyd (brother-in-law) officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Brian Gream, Kris VanVolkinburg, Les VanVolkinburg, Joey Boyd, Randy Whitworth and Josh Graham.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Friday and after 12:00 noon Saturday.
He was born in Mansfield, TN to the late Roy and Nina Mabry Gream. On November 23, 1956 he married Linda Freeland Gream, she preceded June 18, 2013.
Survived by a daughter: Lori (Todd Wimberley) Gream, Paris; sons: Barry Gream, Dallas, TX, Brian (Heather) Gream, Dallas, TX; sisters: Carol (Dennis) Graham, Paris, Patsy (Phillip) Boyd, Paris; sister-in-law: Sue Gream, Paris; grandchildren: Kera Freeman, Brandon Gream, Britton Gream, Leah Raspberry, Jordan Raspberry, Dalton Raspberry, Brooks Wimberly, Isabella Gream and Banyon Blu Gream; great-grandchildren: Tripp Freeman, Shelby Gream, Alivia Gream and Morgan Bowden.
Preceded by a son: Brett Gream, March 10, 2009; sister: Jeane VanVolkinburg; brothers: Bill Gream, Joe Gream; half-sisters: Madeline Watters, Polly Myers, Helen Robb, Lucille Dew, Odelle Watters; half-brother: Gibbs Gream.
Jack was a member of West Paris Baptist Church and a past member of the National Guard. He retired from Holley Carburetor, was a Real Estate Broker and was a carpenter who built many decks in Henry County. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening and family gatherings.

Jerry Chamness
Jerry Douglas Chamness, age 76, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Regional Hospital in Jackson, Tenn.
He was married to Willie Lucille Ball Chamness April 17, 1965 and she preceded in death March 20, 2010. He was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. Jerry worked for Western Auto for several years then worked as a service tech for Carter Sales and Service for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, especially with his brother, Bobby and he loved to fix anything mechanical and loved his family. He was the son of the late Thomas Chamness and the late Lona (Sullivan) Chamness.
He is survived by his three daughters: Scarlet (Rick) Queen of Springville, Tenn., Donna (Joe) McAlpine of Big Sandy, Tenn. and Diana (Jerry) Overby of Paris, Tenn. Three Sons: Jerry Douglas "Bubba" (Angela) Chamness Jr. of Paris, Tenn., James Chamness of Brentwood, Tenn., Tommy (Patricia) Chamness of Paris, Tenn. One Sister: Peggy (Ollie) Miller of Paris, Tenn. Two Brothers: Bobby (Hazel) Chamness of Paris, Tenn. and Dan Overcast of Florida. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and sisters in law.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2014 and from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM Thursday, May 22, 2014. The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:30 AM Thursday, May 22, 2014, with Charles Taylor, Jr. and Brandon Chamness officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill cemetery in Paris, Tenn.

Madge Conyers
Madge H. Conyers, age 100 of Springville, Tenn, passed away on Sunday, May 18, at Henry County Medical Center.
Madge was a longtime member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She worked at the Clippard and Holley Carburetor Plants, both formerly of Paris. Madge also enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Mrs. Conyers is survived by her daughter: Mary (James) Craig, Springville, Tenn., and her grandson, Mark Hemphill of Paris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Asa Carl Hoofman and Myrtle Porter Hoofman; her husband Reece Conyers; daughter Ruth Hemphill; three sisters: Gladys Hill, Vivian Dowdy and Laura B. Hall; and her brother: Thomas Hoofman.
Visitation for friends and family of Mrs. Conyers will be held Tuesday, May 20 at 11 AM at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM on Tuesday, May 20 at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery.

Sandra Hudgins
Sandra Kay Dunn Hudgins, age 66 of Paris, died Sunday, May 18 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Hudgins.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time and are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Dolores Hults
Dolores Nora Fischer Hults, of Morris Plains, NJ passed away May 5, 2014 at her home. She was 70 years old.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Dolores resided in Buchanan, TN before moving to Morris Plains 12 years ago.She attended Murray State University.
Dolores was a homemaker, and a member of Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, NJ. She was also a member of St. Clare’s Transitions Program in NJ, which she attended four days a week since 2003.
Dolores is survived by her devoted child, Kelly Hults Depcik formerly of Buchanan, TN and her husband, Walter Orihuela. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Orihuela, Kelli Orihuela, Nicole Orihuela, and Andrew Orihuela; and her loving nieces and nephews, Kevin and Amy Chmura, Jeanette and Vince Cozzolino, Thomas and Missy Chmura, Jill Collum, Russell and Kim Shepard, John Shepard, Bill and Meg Hults, Michelle Hults; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Dolores was preceded in death by her former husband, Russell Hults, in 2013 and her mother and father Manuella T. Scrol Fischer and George O. Fischer.
Dolores was a special, faith-filled lady who loved telling jokes, and spending time with others, especially her family, her friends at the Transitions Program, and her pets. She was a gentle, kind soul who could find the good in anyone.
She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home Thursday from 9 – 11:30 am with at Prayer Service conducted at 11:30 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mary Lee Washam
Mary Lee Washam, age 79 of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, May 10.
She formerly worked at Henry County Medical Center as a unit secretary and last worked at Houston Tank Services.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time and are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Don Sanders
Donald L. "Don" Sanders, age 67 of Puryear, died Friday, May 9 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Donna K. Sanders of Puryear.
He is to be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service held Monday, May 12 at the Puryear United Methodist Church Christian Life Center at 7 PM.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM at the Christian Life Center.

Randy Moseley
Randall Clark “Randy” Moseley, age 52, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.
He attended Grace Baptist Church, Loved the Lord, his family, sports, and his favorite teams were the TN Volunteers and the Detroit Tigers. He formerly worked at Walmart in Paris before becoming disabled.
He was born August 14, 1961 in Paris, TN to Jimmy Moseley of Paris, TN and the late Eula Faye Miles Moseley.
Besides his father, Randy is also survived by his Two Sisters, Cindy Sandoval of Paris, Tenn, Tracye (Kenneth) Peach of Big Sandy, Tenn; One Brother, Christopher "Chris" (Angie) Moseley of Paris, Tenn; Nieces, Shanna Crawford and Miranda Sandoval of Paris; Nephews, Dustin Moseley and Devin Moseley of Paris, Kameron Peach of Big Sandy, TN; Step Nieces, Madison Thornton, Sarah Thornton, and Hannah Thornton; and Step Nephew, Jeremy “Bubba” Thornton Jr.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be Friday, May 9, 2014 after 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Jack Thacker will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Moseley, Devin Moseley, Jerry Phippen, Ken Cowell, Mike Miles and Ricky Miles.
Burial will follow in Memorial cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
Memorials may be made to The Moseley Family, c/o Ridgeway Funeral Home, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.
