Martha Clark
Martha Sarah Arnold Clark, age 90, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Monday, April 28, 2014, at her residence in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
She was married October 28, 1942 to Jack Clark and he preceded in death October 21, 2006.
Martha was a member of Cottage Grove Baptist Church. She was a proud homemaker and wife and was an excellent seamstress and cook who loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
She was born February 29, 1924 in Trenton, TN to the late Grover C. Arnold and the late Donnie Becton Arnold.
She is survived by her Two Daughters, Anne (Del) Coggins of Murfreesboro, Tenn, Carole (Scott) Berryman of Cottage Grove, Tenn; One Son, Larry (Linda) Clark of Cottage Grove, Tenn; One Sister,
Jayne (Tommy) Hammond of Puryear, Tenn; One Brother, James Hugh (Betty) Arnold of Fresno, Calif; Grandchildren, Jon Clark (Pam) Coggins, David Coggins, Stacy (Linda) Clark, Teresa Burgher, Brian (Tracy) Berryman, Carrie Anne Berryman and husband, Marcel Rodriguez, and John (Marie) Berryman; Great Grandchildren, Calli Coggins, Addi Coggins, Brittany Clark, Joey (Courtney) Trotter, Tiffany Clark, Samantha Clark, Dayton Burgher, Lucas Rodriguez, Alec Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez, Jake Berryman, Ava Berryman, and Cole Berryman; Great Great Grandchildren, C. J. McMillan and Jojo Trotter; Special Nephews, Tom Hammond and Tim Hammond; and Care Givers, Jodie Snow and Melanie Patrick.
Besides her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by a son, Richard Everett Clark; Sisters, Georgetta Koenig and Beaulah “Bill” Brashier; and Brother, G.L. Arnold.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, April 30, 2014 and after 11 am Thursday, May 1, 2014 until the Funeral Service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 1, 2014.
Del Coggins and other family members will conduct the service.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, Tenn.
Memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hoof Beats of Hope, 840 Osage-Crossland Rd., Puryear, TN 38251.

Wanda Palmer
Wanda Sue Palmer, age 69 of Paris, died Friday, April 25 at Henry County Healthcare Center.
Wanda was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church where she served as church clerk.
She graduated from Henry High School, volunteered for Family Resource Center, mentored at Lakewood School and was retired from Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, IL.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Edith Valeska; daughter Summer Palmer; and Melissa Kane Meiner, December 14, 2010.
Palmer is survived by a brother; Jim (Miriam) Palmer, Hermitage; aunt; Betty Sutton, Wyandotte, MI, two grandchildren; Declan Meiner, Kierran Meiner, both of Richland, WA; aunts: Betty Sutton, Wyandotte, MI, and Irene Palmer, Paris; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 PM Sunday, April 27 at Mansfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

Billy Forbus
William James “Billy” Forbus, age 62, of Huntingdon, Tenn and longtime Paris resident, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was a former truck driver for Three Rivers Trucking Co and a US Army veteran.
He was born October 9, 1951 in Chicago, IL to Henry Alfred Forbus of Morris Chapel, TN and the late Ann Burns Crews.
Besides his father, he is survived by his One Brother, Jeffrey Forbus of Huntingdon, Tenn; and One Half Sister, Mary Stroud of Huntingdon, TN.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Forbus.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.
The body will be cremated. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 pm Saturday, April 26, 2014 with a Memorial Service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 26, 2014
Tommy Willis will officiate.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Ward, Jack Youngblood, Bud Manning, Mike Trantham, Lynn Smith, and Danny Ray Sanders.

Billy Ellis
Billy Ellis, age 79 of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, April 20 at Regional Hospital in Jackson, Tenn.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time and are being handled by McEvoy Funeral Home.

Brenda Broach
Brenda Jane Millitte Broach, age 69 of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Saturday, April 19 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville.
Brenda was a member of North Fork Baptist Church. She was a former employee of the Plumley Rubber Company of Paris. She also enjoyed sewing and going to yard sales.
Broach is preceded in death by her parents, R.J. Millitte and Opal Paschall, and her husband, Kennith Edward Broach, who died November 15, 2013.
She is survived by a host of cousins and special friends.
Visitation for the family of Brenda Broach will be held after 10 AM on Wednesday, April 23 at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Frances Robbins
Frances B. Lindsey Robbins, age 95 of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, April 18 at her residence.
Frances was a longtime member of the Nazarene Church and attended West Paris Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and also retired from Campbell's Department Store, formerly located in Paris.
Family has said she and her husband, Finley Quentin "Bud" Robbins, were inseparable, and recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. Finley Robbins survives.
Frances is also survived by her daughter, Joy (Kenneth) Smith of Bethlehem, Penn., son Joe (Beverly) Robbins of Houston, Texas, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents John W. Lindsey and Mamie Christopher Lindsey; her sisters Claudie Doolin and Nora Knox and sister-in-law Jo Cleta Williams; brothers Earl and Bill Lindsey; and daughter Barbara Pannell, who died in 2012.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM Sunday, April 20 and after 9 AM Monday, April 21 at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at McEvoy Funeral Home at 10 AM Monday, April 21 with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

George Moore
George T. Moore, age 88 of Paris TN, died Thursday at his residence.
He was born April 28, 1925 and grew up in the Gadsden/Humboldt area of West Tennessee.
George married Winnie Lewis Moore June 20, 1946; she survives. They would have celebrated 68 years of marriage in June.
In addition to his wife, Moore is survived by a son, Wayne Moore and friend Rhonda of Blytheville, AR; a d aughter, Cathy Enss and husband Don of Murfreesboro, TN and Dana Peyton and husband Chip of Haymarket, VA; sisters, Betty Nelson of Gadsden, TN and Anita (Teddy) Barker of Sanford, FL; a brother, James Moore of Humboldt; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George B. Moore and Gladys A. Moore and a brother, Morris Moore.
George grew up as a farmer, graduated from Humboldt High School and went into the Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945, during World War II. He then went to the University of Tennessee and graduated with a degree in Agriculture.
He worked as a county agent for the Farmers Home Administration in Henry County, Paris, TN before being promoted to the state office in Nashville.
He then got transferred to Washington DC in 1968 and moved up the ranks in the Department of Agriculture to Director of the Farmers Home Administration until he retired in December 1985.
At that time, he then moved back to Paris TN and worked for the City of Paris as their City Manager and also was a City Commissioner serving in two separate terms. He also served on numerous boards in the City of Paris. He truly enjoyed working for the city and talking to all the people.
In his spare time, he loved gardening, reading, going to have coffee with his friends, and spending time with his family. He also had wonderful caregivers during his illness. Patty Brown, Cindy Milliken, Nicky Harris and Brenda McFadden were like part of the family as they cared for him.
Visitation will be held Monday from 3 - 6 pm and Tuesday after 12 pm until service at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Terry Fuller will officiate.
