Frances Robbins
Frances Robbins, age 95 of Paris, died Friday, April 18 at her residence.
Visitation will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4 until 7 PM Sunday, April 27 and after 9 AM Monday, April 28.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, April 28 at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

Bill Sowell
Bill Sowell, age 90, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was married to Virginia Ruth "Sissy" Briggs Sowell April 27, 1946 and she preceded in death Sept. 13, 2014.
He was a United States Marine Corps Reserve Veteran and a member of the Apostolic Chapel. He owned and operated a commercial delivery company in California before moving to Tennessee where he spent some time logging.
Bill was born April 1, 1924 in Adams, TN to the late Lucian Sowell and the late Bertha Briggs Sowell.
He is survived by his Two Daughters, Denise (David) Bomar of Paris, Tenn, Mary (Jerry) Davis of Buchanan, Tenn; One Son, Mark (Sheila) Sowell of Buchanan, Tenn; 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
Bill was also preceded in death by a Son, Willy Sowell; Sisters, Madeline, Gertrude, Geneva, Stella, and Ledley Sowell; and Brothers, Arnold, Ernie, Aurther, Tyler, and Lucian Sowell Jr.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Saturday, December 27, 2014. Visitation will continue after 1 pm Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Apostolic Chapel until the service at 2:30 PM Sunday, December 28, 2014.
Dwight Turner will officiate. Pallbearers will be Wesley Bomar, Frank Patterson, John Patterson, Josh Sowell, Jacob Mead and Mark Mead.
Interment will be at Community cemetery in Springville, Tenn.

Joe Revel
Joe Hulie Revel, age 85, of Henry, Tenn., died Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at his residence in Henry, Tenn.
He was married May 2, 1953 to Betty Ruth Hannah Revel and she survives. He was a member of Henry Baptist Church. He retired from Holley Carburetor Plant after 28 years and was Owner and operator of Revel Logging for 25 years. He was a Life long farmer and enjoyed his family and horses.
Joe was born October 5, 1929 in Henry, TN to the late Hulie Revel and the late Nona Joyner Revel Irvin.
Besides his wife, He is also survived by his Two Sons, Rick Revel of Henry, Tenn, Barry (Tammy) Revel of Henry, Tenn; Three Sisters, Mildred Horn of Murray, Ky, Dorothy Clendenin of Paris, Tenn, Virginia Aden of Loganville, Ga; Five Grandchildren, Erica Revel, Emily (Nathan) Shoemaker, Justin Revel, Josh Revel, and Scott (Jennifer) Carroll; and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by a Brother, Guy Revel.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn where the visitation will be from 5 - 7:30 pn Friday, December 26, 2014 and from 10 am – 12 Noon Saturday, December 27, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 12:00 pm Saturday, December 27, 2014.
Jeff Bryant will officiate. Pallbearers will be Steve Clendenin, Tim Clendenin, Josh Revel, Justin Revel, Scott Carroll, and Nathan Shoemaker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gordon Ray McFadden and Chris Boxell.
Interment will be at Henry City cemetery in Henry, Tenn.

Frank Hart
Andrew Franklin “Frank” Hart, age 82, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
He was married December 27, 1950 to Clara Evelyn Routon Hart and she survives.
Frank was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was a commercial fisherman for many years and owned and operated Harts Fish Market.
He was born October 29, 1931 in Paris, TN to the late Eddie Bunion Hart and the late Aluer Erin Barnhill Hart.
He is also survived by One Daughter, Teresa Ray of Henry, Tenn; One Son-In-Law, Joe Parker of Paris, Tenn; One Sister, Frances Diem of Paducah, Ky; One Brother, Donald Hart of Puryear, Tenn; Grandchildren, David Lee (Deana) Bowden Sr. of Paris, TN, Walter Franklin Ray of Henry, TN, Chris Wayne (Lori) Bowden of Paris, TN, Lacresha Louann (Ayman) Hamdan of Jackson, TN; and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Frank was also preceded in death by Daughter, Judy Clara Bowden Parker; Two Son-in-laws, Dale Ray and Billy Bowden; 7 Sisters, Flora Garner, Elsie Freeman, Ida Mae Linsman, Ruby Carrington, Eddie Lee Rogers, Beatrice Hart, and Willie Sue Aaron; and 1 Great Grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Thursday, April 17, 2014 and after 10 am Friday, April 18, 2014.
The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, April 18, 2014.
Jimmy Allison will officiate.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Kenneth Linsman and Dale Routon will be Honorary Pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Hart Family Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Henry County Home Health, 311 E. Wood St., Paris, TN 38242 or Henry County Ambulance Service, 202 Hospital Circle, Paris, TN 38242.

Jerome Kudrna
A memorial service for Jerome E. Kudrna of Buchanan will be held Saturday April 19th at 11am at McEovy Funeral Home. Jerome passed away on January 25th, 2014.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WWII and a member of AmVets Post 45.
Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1210 East Wood Street, Paris, TN 38242 or the American Cancer Society.

Gertie Morris
Gertie Nell Morris, 91, of Euless, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
Gertie was born March 18, 1923, in Henry County, Tennessee, to William Arthur Morris and Nora Newport Morris.
After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Kentucky, Gertie went on to earn a Master’s Degree from Duke University. She enjoyed an extensive teaching career including teaching Advanced Mathematics at Mirabeau B. Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas.
Following her retirement, Gertie enjoyed gardening and visiting with her friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her brother, J. D. Morris, and her sister, Laura Morris.
She is survived by cousins, Don Burton of Murray, KY, and Gary Newport of Paris.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN.

Carol Angelos
Carol J. Angelos, age 81, of Huntingdon, Tenn., died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at her residence in Huntingdon, Tenn.
She was married in October of 1969 to Clyde Angelos he died preceded in death May 2, 1999.
Carol retired after 40 years as a phone operator with AT & T in West Allis, Wisconsin.
She was born November 14, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Ivern Lemke and the late Daisy Horn Lemke.
She is survived by her Son, Peter (Ginger Meggs) Angelos of Huntingdon, Tenn; and Three Grandchildren, Gracie, Olivia and Samuel Angelos of Huntingdon, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn.
She will be cremated. No services are planned.

Donald Douglass
Donald Joe Douglass, age 56, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, April 11, 2014, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.
He was married to Jacqueline "Lynn" Owens Douglass June 9, 1979 and she survives.
Donald retired after 26 years as a salesman for Lewis Bakery. He was member of Fairview Baptist Church and was attending Temple Baptist Church. He formerly served as a deacon and he loved riding motorcycles.
He was born October 1, 1957 in Paris, TN to the late Billy Joe Douglass and Mary Buie Douglass of Paris, TN.
Besides his Wife and Mother, he is also survived by One Daughter, Angie (Curtis) Sullivan of Paris, Tenn; Two Sons, Alan (Jennifer) Douglass of Paris, Tenn, Jeremy (Tiffany) Douglass of Paris, Tenn; One Sister, Judy (Don) Drummond of Paris, Tenn; One Brother, Dale (Vicki) Douglass of Paris, Tenn; Two Grandchildren, Abigail Black and William Sullivan; and his In-laws, Bobby and Doris Owens of Paris, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday, April 14, 2014 and after 9:30 am Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
Jerry Lee will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Logan Drummond, Brent Owens, Brad Owens, Adam Owens, Jeff Madden, Charlie Neal, John Douglass and Mike Miles.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Doug Buie, Nathan Owens, and Ethan Fitzgerald.
Burial will follow in Birds Creek cemetery in Whitlock, Tenn.

Robert M. Strickland
Robert Strickland, 58 of Paris passed away April 8th at his home. Visitation will be at Trinity Funeral home on Tuesday April 15th 10-4.

Ethel Montgomery
Ethel G. Montgomery, age 102, of Paris, died April 11th at her residence. Visitation will be Tuesday April 15th 6-7pm at Trinity Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Friday April 18th at Simpson Street Church of Christ in Atlanta with burial in Marietta National cemetery in Marietta, Ga.

Willie Mae Ross
Willie Mae Ross, age 90 of Paris, died Saturday, April 12 at Paris Healthcare Center.
Visitation for Ross' family will be held Tuesday, April 15 from 10 AM until the funeral service, which will be held Tuesday at 1 PM in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Donald J. Douglass
Donald J. Douglass, age 56 of Paris, died Friday, April 11 at his Paris residence.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Douglass of Paris.
Visitation for Douglass' family will be held Monday, April 14 from 4 to 7 PM as well as Tuesday, April 15 after 9:30 AM at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday, April 15 in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with burial to follow in Birds Creek Cemetery.
