Barbara Pierce
Barbara Ann Williams Pierce, age 75, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, March 21, 2014, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
Barbara was a 1956 Graduate of Grove High School. She was married
to Billy J. Pierce September 30, 1961; he survives.
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Nursery Worker. She retired from Radiology and Imaging Associates of Paris and formerly worked at the Mitchum Company.
Barbara loved the Bible in depth and was a student of Precept Ministries. She also enjoyed geneology research.
She was born June 6, 1938 in Humboldt, Tenn. to the late Dillard Williams and the late Bettie Tate Williams.
She is also survived by one daughter, Alana (Mark) Lewis of Kingsport, Tenn; and two granddaughters, Katlyn (Jon) Moore of Starkville, Miss., and Victoria (Nathan) Johnson of Huntsville, Ala.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday, March 24, 2014. Visitation will continue from 10 to 11 am Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Temple Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at Temple Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
Dr. Mike Burney & Chad Kennedy will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
Charles Simpson
Charles E. Simpson died March 16, 2014 at his residence.
He was Married to Charity (Ross) Simpson who survives.
Charles was born in Henry County to the late James H. Simpson and Mildred L. (Wiseman) Simpson.
He was a former member of The First Baptist Church in Gosnell, AK and was an Air Force Retiree who served in Korea, Japan and Vietnam where he served both in the Military Police & trained sentry dogs, his last tour in Vietnam was served in the field of Cryogenics.
He later worked for Civil Service at Mountain Home Veterans Hospitals in East TN and Hampton, VA .before becoming self-employed. His civic duties ranged from Boys Scouts to neighborhood volunteer and Air Force Aid Society. His hobbies were love of music, reading, fishing and bowling.
In addition to his wife, he leaves one son: Mark Edward Simpson, Golden, CO; and four brothers: Gary, Jimmy, Steven and Ted Simpson and one sister, Sylvia (Simpson) Lowe.
He was also preceded in death by a son: Terry Neil Simpson; four brothers, Darrel, David, Bill and Cletus Simpson and one sister, Virginia (Simpson) Andrew.
Ridgeway Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The body will be cremated.
Ruth Bradford
Edna Ruth Bradford, age 92, of Henry, Tenn died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married
April 1, 1954 to Joseph Milton Bradford and he preceded in death January 15, 1992.
Ruth was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was a homemaker, avid bowler, and loved to crochet and spend time with her Grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Kurt Zentner and the late Elizabeth Zentner.
She is survived by her Daughter, Patricia (Garry) Wilkinson of Henry, Tenn; Two Sons, Joe (Nina) Bradford of Dyersburg, Tenn, Ronnie (Susan) Bradford of Scottsdale, Ariz; Sister, Doris Pasno of Oshkosh, Wis; Three Brothers, Bill Zentner of Wisconsin, Don Zentner of Wisconsin, Walter Zentner of Florida.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:30 pm Wednesday, March 19, 2014 with a Rosary Service at 6:30 pm.
The Funeral Mass will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10:30 AM Thursday, March 20, 2014.
Interment will be in Poplar Grove cemetery in Springville, Tenn.
Carolyn Wagner
Carolyn Wagner, age 72, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Monday, March 17, 2014, at her residence in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
Carolyn was married
February 25, 1961 to Jerry Curtis Wagner, and he survives. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and worked as an Administrative Assistant for Henry County Mayors Herman Jackson and Brent Greer until she retired in 2006. She was a member of Paris Quota Club and was a homemaker who loved to work in her yard.
She was born June 10, 1941 in Carmi, IL to the late Merida Burris and the late Dorothy Hill Burris.
She is also survived by her Two Daughters, Becki Wagner Powers of Paris, Tenn, Amanda (Seong-Tae) Kim of Cottonwood, Calif; Son, Paul (Donna) Wagner of Seattle, Wash; One Sister, Barbara (Charles) Culp of Joliet, Ill; and Grandchildren, Ethan Wagner, Connor Wagner, Nathan Powers, Emily Powers, and Ryan Kim.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, March 19, 2014 and after 11 am Thursday, March 20, 2014.
The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 20, 2014.

Interment will follow in Olive Branch cemetery between Como and Cottage Grove, Tenn.
Nomie Olive
Nomie Kuykendoll Olive, age 105, of Paris, died at Paris Healthcare Center on Sunday March 16th.
Nomie was a member of First Baptist Church where she worked in the kitchen for over 20 years. She was a member of the Chickasaw Garden Club. She also worked at Kmart in Paducah for 22 years.
Funeral will be at 1pm Wednesday March 19th with a graveside service at Johnson's Chapel Cemetery.
Frances Paschall
Frances P. Paschall, age 101 of Paris, died Thursday March 13th at her home.
Frances was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church. She formerly worked as a deputy under Eva Bevil at the Henry County Register of Deeds office and later under Sue Tosh as a deputy for the Trustee's office. She also worked at a law firm, McEvoy Funeral Home, and was a homemaker.
Visitation will be Sunday March 16 at 12:30pm at McEvoy Funeral home and continue until service time which is 2:30pm Sunday. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery.
The Family has requested in lieu of flowers and food, memorials be made to Temple Baptist Church, 619 N. Wilson Street, Paris.
Annie Fulghum
Annie Lee Fulghum, age 97 of Paris, died Wednesday March 12th at the Paris Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Fulghum was a member of First Baptist Church, retired beautician, former church organist/pianist at Parran’s Chapel Church in Bolivar, and a member of the Hospital Auxiliary. She began playing the piano when she was four years old, and family members say throughout her life she blessed many people by sharing her God-given talent.
Visitation will be 4-7pm Friday March 14th at McEvoy Funeral home and at 10am until service time on Saturday March 15th. Funeral service will be at 11am Saturday with burial to follow in the Palestine Cemetery.
Jerri Rowlett
Jerri Gail Rowlett, age 51 of Buchanan, died Monday March 10th at the Murray- Calloway County Hospital.
Survirors include her husband William "Bill" Rowlett, of Buchanan, her mother, four daughters, one sister, two brothers, and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Thursday March 13th from 4-7pm and Friday March 14th from 10am until service time at 11am.
Larrye Hawes
Larrye O. Hawes, age 76, died March 4, 2014 at Bartow Regional Hospital in Bartow, FL.
At the time of his death, he was the Owner and Operator of Mid Florida Vending in Lakeland, FL.
Larrye is survived by two daughters, Allison (Daniel) Gallimore of Lewisville, TX and Caroline (Steve) Berend of Highland Village, TX. Also, two Granddaughters, Amy and Carrie Berend of Lewisville, TX; a step grandson, Skipper Berend of Truckee, CA; and one sister, Jessie Nell Alexander of Puryear, TN; two nephews, Dwain Alexander of Puryear, TN and Dwight Alexander of Murray, KY.
He was born January 7, 1938 in Murray, KY to parents, Odell and Geneva Beasley Hawes who preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 12:00 Noon at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris, TN, on Thursday, March 13, followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church cemetery in Folsomdale, KY.

Ethel Pancaro
Ethel Pancaro, age 91 of Paris, passed away Thursday March 6th at the Henry County Medical Center.
She was born in Chicago in 1923 and was preceeded in death by her husband Serverino "Joe" Pancaro.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
Dale Moyer
Dale Moyer, age 69 of Cottage Grove, died Friday, March 7 at Jackson - Madison County General Hospital.
Visitation for Moyer's friends and family will be held Sunday, March 9 from 11 AM until 2 PM.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
