Robert Griffin
Robert E. Griffin, Jr., age 66, of Springville, Tenn., died Thursday, March 6 at his residence.
He was married to Ruth Lewis Griffin September 29, 1995; she survives.
Griffin attended Henry County Tabernacle. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and then retired after working 34 years as an inspector at Emerson Electric in Paris, TN.
He was the son of the late Robert Griffin Sr. and the late Edna Kimbry Griffin.
He is also survived by his two daughters, Lisa (Doug) Wood of Germantown, Tenn, Debbie (Tony) Patterson of Camden, Tenn; two sons, Bill Baxley of Springville, Tenn, Chris Baxley of Springville, Tenn; and one brother, Joe Griffin of Tupelo, Miss; 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Saturday, March 8. Visitation will continue from 1 to 2 pm Sunday, March 9 at Henry County Tabernacle.
The funeral service will be at Henry County Tabernacle at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 9.
Interment will follow in Community cemetery in Springville, Tenn.

Ruth Craig
Ruth Wallace Craig, age 89, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married to James Edward Craig May 4, 1940, and he preceded in death April 6, 2008.
Ruth was a member of The First Church of the Nazerene in Dover. She formerly worked at Mitchum Company, the Shoe Factory and then for Colt Industries until each of them closed.
She was a daughter of the late Herman Wallace and the late Onie Vick Wallace.
She is survived by her Two Sons, Jerry Dwayne (Sue) Craig of Buchanan, Tenn, James D. (Gilda) Craig of Buchanan, Tenn; Two Sisters, Sara Dowdy of Granite City, Ill, Vivian Pfleeger of Dover, Tenn; Three Brothers, Leon Dillon Wallace of Detroit, Mich, Charles Vernon Wallace of Mayfield, Ky, Othal Wallace of Dover, Tenn; grandchildren, Jerry, Clint, and Cody (Lindsay) Craig of Buchanan, TN, Ray Craig of Louisville, KY, and Maria (Robert) Knott of Wichita, KS; great grandchildren, Elena, Matthew and Rebekah Craig, Dakota and Brandon Knott.
Ruth was also preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Outland and Orlene Chadwick; brothers, Alvin, Franklin, Marshall and Orville Wallace.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Saturday, March 8, 2014 and after 12 pm Sunday, March 9, 2014. The Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 9, 2014.
Larry Dukes & Dean Lee will officiate.
Interment will follow in Bethel cemetery in Buchanan, Tenn.

Marty Scott
Marty Lynn Scott, age 39, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
Scott Attended Open Doors Community Church.
He was a son of the late Michael Lee “Mickie” Scott and Wanda Webb Scott of Paris, TN.
He is also survived by his Two Daughters, Tara Scott of Paris, Tenn, Cheyenne Luther Scott of Paris, Tenn; Son, Tyler Scott of Paris, Tenn; Sister, Nikki Scott of Paris, Tenn; Brother, Michael (Donna) Scott of Paris, Tenn; Grandmother, Arlene Workman of South Carolina; uncle, Kenneth (Christy) Webb of Baldwyn, MS; and Several nieces and cousins.
Marty was also preceded in death by Grandparents, John Scott, Maxine Kent, and Travis Webb.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm Monday, March 10, 2014. The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, March 10, 2014.
Johnny Farmer & Kenneth Webb will officiate. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow in Mt. Comfort cemetery in Yuma, Tenn.

Edna Cooper
Edna Kathryn Cooper, age 95, of Savannah, Tenn, formerly of Paris, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Harbert Hills Academy Nursing Home in Savannah, Tenn.
She was married June 26, 1937 to Nolan James Copper, and he preceded in death March 4, 1984.
Edna formerly worked at Holley Carburetor Plant in Paris, TN and was a member of Paris Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She was born September 15, 1918 in Paris to the late Edward Jenkins and the late Bessie Pillow Jenkins.
She is survived by her Daughter, Deborah "Debbie" & husband Bobby Wint Sr. of Clarksville, Tenn; Grandchildren, Bob Wint Jr. of Madison, TN and Amanda Cooper of Panama City Beach, FL.
Edna was also preceded in death by a son, James E. “Jimmy” Cooper; sisters, Willie Toombs and Effie Rye; and brothers, Eli Jenkins and Edward Lee Jenkins.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be after 11 am Thursday, March 6, 2014 until the Funeral Service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 6, 2014.
Bobby Wint Sr. will officiate.
Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, Tenn.

Bonnie Latham
Bonnie Latham, age 54 of Paris, died Friday, February 28th at her residence.
Arrangements are not yet complete and are being handled by McEvoy Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Imogene Seward
Imogene Seward, age 84 of Paris, died Thursday, February 27th.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 PM Friday, February 28th and from noon until 1 PM Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home with memorial services to follow at 1 PM in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Elkhorn Cemetery.

Elsie Coe
Elsie Coe, age 85, of Paris, died Wednesday February 26th at the Paris Healthcare Center.
She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church.
There will be a graveside service at 10am Thursday February 27th at Memorial Cemetery.

Steve Rumfelt
Steven C. Rumfelt, age 62 of Smyrna, Tenn., formerly of Paris, died Tuesday, February 25th at Stone Crest Memorial Center in Smyrna.
Rumfelt is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Rumfelt and Louise Claudine Redmon Rumfelt.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Marion Ellis Rumfelt of Manalapan, N.J.; sons Johnny (Jennifer) Hornbaker of Junction City, Kan., and Stevie Rumfelt of Brookfield, Ill.; stepdaughter Kim (Paul) McDonnell of Selkirk, N.Y.; and sisters Carol (Gene) Campbell of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and Nancy (Kevin) Johnson of Dickson, Tenn.
He is also survived by one grandchild, Thomas Rumfelt.
Visitation for the family of Steve Rumfelt will be held from 1 to 2 PM Saturday, March 1 at McEvoy Funeral Home with memorial services to be held at 2 PM.

Virginia Hendrix
Virginia Sturdivant Hendrix, age 84, of Paris died at her residence on Tuesday February 25th.
Virginia attended First Baptist Church in Paris. She was preceeded in death by her husband Vernon Hendrix. They were married in 1968.
Visitation will be 2-6pm Friday and after 10am Saturday March 1st at McEvoy Funeral home. Service will be at 11am on Saturday March 1. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Center of Henry County, 1290 Kelley Drive, Paris, TN 38242.

Victoria Burns
Victoria Maria Burns, age 88, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at her residence in Paris, Tenn.
Victoria was a war bride who married in 1945 to William Joseph Burns, Jr., who was stationed overseas in the Persian Gulf Command Division of US Army. They were married 68 years and William died Oct. 19, 2012. She was formerly of Sebastian, FL and Philadelphia, PA and moved to Paris 7 years ago.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Recently, she made many friends after graduating from the Physical Therapy Program at McKenzie Healthcare Center as well as through Home Health & Hospice Teams. She will be sorely missed by those she sought to bring joy & laughter to.
She was born December 24, 1925 in Tehran, Iran to the late Vladimir Amerman and the late Stanislawa Amerman.
She is survived by her Two Daughters, Susan Dierkes of Paris, Tenn, Elizabeth (William) Case of Paris, Tenn; One Son-In-Law, Jeff Gordon of Chardon, Ohio; Special Care giver, Gi Gi Cain of Paris, TN; 8 Grandchildren; and 19 Great Grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Gordon and son-in-law, Charles Dierkes.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, February 27, 2014.
The Funeral mass will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10 am Friday, February 28, 2014 .
Cremation will follow the service.
