Gene McCutcheon
Ralph Gene McCutcheon, age 67, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris, TN and worked 40 years as a journalist. Gene formerly worked at The Murray Ledger & Times in Murray, KY as sports editor & news editor. He was last employed as news editor & systems manager for the Paris PI in Paris, TN.
He was born in Paris, TN December 17, 1946 to the late Daron McCutcheon and the late Carolyn Russell McCutcheon.
He is survived by his One Daughter, Jill McCutcheon of Portland, Ore.; Two Sons, Russell (Bonnie) McCutcheon of Gettysburg, Pa., Tyler (Kate) McCutcheon of Chatham, Ill.; Two Sisters, Ann (Andy) Broach of Paris, Tenn., Edie (Russell) Henley of Niceville, Fla.; One Sister-in-law, Alice McCutcheon of Paris, TN; Niece, Lynn McCutcheon of Paris, TN; Nephew, Christopher Broach of Jackson, TN; Uncle, Charles (Joy) McCutcheon of Paris, TN; and Cousin, Bill McCutcheon of Paris, TN,
Gene was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom McCutcheon.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 10 to 11 am Thursday, January 23, 2014. The Memorial Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 am Thursday, January 23, 2014.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of you choice.

Letha Crain
Letha Ann Hill Crain, age 63, of Puryear, Tenn., died Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married May 2, 1967 Ralph Crain, and he survives. She graduated in 1967 from Puryear High School and was a member of Puryear United Methodist Church. She was also the former manager of Mr. D’s Resturant for several years in Paris, TN and worked for Plumley Company for 13 years.
She was born in Murray, KY February 2, 1950 to the late J.V. Hill and the late Opal Thompson Hill.
She is also survived by Two Sons, Michael Jay Crain of Puryear, Tenn., Kevin Earl Crain of Kansas City, Mo.; One Sister, Myra (Van) Thompson of Puryear, Tenn.; Two Grandchildren, Jacob Earl Crain and Rachel Ann Crain.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday and after 10 am Wednesday, January 22, 2014 until the Funeral service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
David Allbritten will officiate.
Interment will follow in Puryear City cemetery in Puryear, Tenn.

Walter Crawford "W.C." Flowers
Walter Crawford "W.C." Flowers, age 90 of the Pleasant Hill community, died Saturday, January 18th at Paris Healthcare Center.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 20th from 4 until 7 PM at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and Tuesday, January 21st from 12 until 1 PM at Fairview Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 PM at Fairview Baptist Church with burial to follow at Haymes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:
Helping Hands, P.O. Box 22, Paris, TN 38242 for Pleasant Hill Day or Fairview Baptist Church Day.

Linda Lee Hicks
Linda Lee Hicks, age 64 of Paris, died Thursday, January 16th at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Hicks is preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Lee, her husband Howard Baugh Manley, who died in 1981, and their son Howard Baugh Manley III who died in 2011.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Sanders Laster of McKenzie, sister Joanie Moody of McKenzie, brother Charles David "Blue (Joanie) Lee of Paris, daughter Christi Manley Snow of Paris, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM Monday, January 20th and after 11 AM Tuesday, January 21st at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday, January 21st at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bevil Cemetery.

Charles Ellis
Charles Earl "Pee Wee" Ellis, age 75 of Paris, died Monday at his residence.
Charles retired from Spinks Clay Company and was a farmer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Baptist by faith and loved to gather with friends at the Tackle Box. He was an avid fisherman, knife collector and enjoyed truck and tracotr pulls.
Charles was married to his wife Glendora Osborne Ellis in 1964. He leaves her a son Robert Earl (Sonya McFarland) Ellis, and a granddaughter Amanda Gail Ellis, to cherish his memories.
No services are scheduled this time.

Clyde Norwood
Clyde T. Norwood, age 93, of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, died at his residence on Friday January 10th. Norwood is originally from Henry County.
Clyde was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving as a medic and a cook. He worked as a pipefitter and retired from Chrysler.
Clyde was preceeded in death by his parents James A. Norwood and Lena Redden Norwood.
Clyde's wife, Mary Evelyn Murphy Norwood, of Michigan, is left to cherish his memories. They were married in 1948.
Clyde also leaves a son Bob (Michelle) Rasberry, three daughters: Phyllis (Steve) Risher, Annetta Norwood, and Leisa (Nat) Hunt along with other family members.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Friday January 17th, with a graveside service at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday January 16th at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Emma Mullins
Emma Rachel Pinckley Mullins, age 75, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, January 10, in Paris, Tenn.
Emma was married to Ray Mullins July 1, 1955; he survives.
She was a member of Olive Branch Methodist Church and was a retired Nurse's Aide with Tri-County Home Health. She was also a sitter with the elderly for many years.
She was a daughter of the late William Pinckley and the late Edith Nails Pinckley.
She is also survived by her two sons, Eddie (Diane) Mullins of San Antonio, Texas, Jimmy (Lisa) Mullins of Katy, Texas; two sisters, Linda (Marvin) Nichollson of Albuquerque, NM, Sandra Gail (Mike) Pruitt of Rutherford, Tenn.; three brothers, Jerry (Carolyn) Pinckley of RoEllen, Tenn., Paul Pinckley of Arizona, George (Linda) Pinckley of RoEllen, Tenn.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, January 12, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, January 13. Funeral services will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, January 13, with interment to follow in Olive Branch cemetery in Cottage Grove, Tenn.

Robert Baucum
Robert Baucum, age 79, of Sun City West, Arizona, formerly of Paris, died on December 31st, 2013 at Kindred Northwest Hospital in Arizona.
Robert was preceeded in death by his parents Paul Baucum and Thelma Hodges Baucum, and his brother Harold Baucum.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Bettye Jackson Baucum, of Sun City West, brother Larry Baucum, and two daughters Debra (Edward) Quiroz, and Patricia (James) DeForest, both of Illinois and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at Hilcrest Memorial Park, at 10am on Saturday January 11th. Visitation will be 4-7pm Friday January 10th at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Charles Garner
Charles A. Garner, age 66 of Paris died Tuesday January 7th in Paris.
He was retired from the Weakley County Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator and had formerly worked at Celotex. He was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church.
Charles was preceeded in death by his parents Alvin Pleasen and Ruth Beavers Garner, a sister, Martha Garner, and three of his brothers Will, Paul, and Turner Garner.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories his wife Barbara Sneed Garner of Paris. They were married in 1983. Charles also leaves behind sons, Charle Garner of Camden and Leslie Ray Garner of Paris, and daughters Jean (Joel) Turner, of Paris and Jeanna Garner of Paris along with several grandchildren and other relatives. He also leaves brothers: John, Tommy, Leon, and David (Harriet) Garner, and sister Margie Wynn.
Service will be a 1pm, Friday January 10th at McEvoy Funeral home. Visitation will be Thursay January 9th, 4-7pm and Friday January 10th after 11am until service time at 1pm. Burial will be at Bevil Cemetery. Bro. Mike Wimberly will officiate the service.

Michael Jewell
Michael L. Jewell, age 53, died Wednesday January 8th at Henry County Healthcare.
Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, especially loved Harley Davidsons. A family member said he believed the word of God.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories his parents Buddy and Ruby Jewell of Paris; son Billy Michael (Dana) Jewell, of Paris; sister Pam (Mark) Walters of Camden; brother Barry (Pam) Jewell, of Paris and three grandchildren and several nieces and newphews.
Funeral will be at 1pm Saturday January 11 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-7pm Friday January 10th and Saturday after 11am until service time at 1pm. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery. Pastor Roger Smith, Church of God of Prophecy, will officiate.
