Peggy Paschall
Peggy Jean Dancy Paschall, age 82 of Tucson, Arizona, passed away at her residence on December 18th, 2013.
Peggy worked at Pima County Hospital and retired from Kino Community Hospital as an Emergency Room Nurse in Tucson. She was a Grove High School Graduate in 1949.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, James Hughes Dancy and Beulah Beatrice Blackwood Dancy. She was also preceeded in death by her husband, Hassell "Tim" B. Paschall. They were married in June of 1955.
Peggy leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughter Bibe Lou Paschall, of Tucson, sons, David (Karen) Paschall, of Tucson, Steven (Gayle) Paschall, of Tucson; siter Mary Kay Smith, of Jackson, and brother James "Buddy" Dancy, of Logansport, Indiana.
There will be a graveside funeral will be on Friday January 10th, at 11am at the Puryear City Cemetery. Bro. Mackie Gallimore will officiate the service.

Ronnie Boone
Ronnie Lynn Boone, age 65, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, January 6, 2014, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.
He was married June 18, 1984 to Darla Hodges Boone and she survives.
Ronnie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paris, TN. He was a retired purchasing agent for Hayes-Lammerz International in Gainesville, GA.
Ronnie loved woodworking, working in the yard, cooking, & Bar-B Q.
He also loved his pets Dandy, Kori Mae, Buddy, & Benjamin who all preceded him in death.
He was a son of the late Earl Boone and the late Lorene Smith Boone.
He is also survived by his three Sisters, Grace L. Boone of Dresden, Tenn., Margie Cunningham of Dresden, Tenn., Martha (Harry "Roho") Sublett of Martin, Tenn.; Four Brothers, Hershel Boone of Gleason, Tenn., Aaron T. Boone of Dresden, Tenn., Billy D. (Judy) Boone of Florence, S.C., Jerry L. (Lyndia) Boone of Greenfield, Tenn.; and Many Nieces, Nephews, & Special Friends.
Ronnie was also preceded in death by brothers, Lennie Boone, Bobby Boone, and Lamon Boone.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday and from 9 to 11 am Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Paris, TN. The Funeral Service will be at First United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
Steve Boone & Dr. Robert D. Martin will officiate.
Interment will follow in Sunset cemetery in Dresden, Tenn.

Dick Carson
Dickie Dewayne Carson, age 57, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, January 6, 2014, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.
He was married June 11, 1977 to Donna Jones Carson and she survives.
Dick was a member of Camden United Pentecostal Church in Camden, TN and presently the Sunday School Director. He was a self-employed auto body repairman for many years at Carson's Auto Body in Paris.
Besides his wife he is also survived by his parents, Charles Carson and Barbara Coleman Carson of Paris, Tenn.; Two Daughters, Vanessa (Jamie) Turner of Mansfield, Tenn., Tiffany Carson of Paris, Tenn.; One Son, Eric (Laura) Carson of Paris, Tenn.; One Sister, Theresa (Rob) Toomey of Clarksville, Tenn.; Three Brothers, Donnie (Linda) Carson of Paris, Tenn., Dennis (Denelle) Carson of Kenosha, Wis., Ronnie (Diane) Carson of Tuscon, Ariz.; Grandchildren, Courtney Turner, Emily Turner, and Nathan Turner.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Erica Dawn Carson
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday and from 9 to 11 am Thursday at Camden United Pentecostal Church in Camden, TN. The Funeral service will be at Camden United Pentecostal Church at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 9, 2014.
Marty Johnson will officiate.
Interment will follow in VanDyke Grove cemetery in Paris, Tenn.

Earl McDaniel
Earl McDaniel, age 91 of Paris, died Saturday January 4th at Paris Healthcare. Earl served in WWII from 1942-45 in the Military Police with one year in England, one year in France, and 6 months in Belgium. He was a member of Nelson Creek Baptist Church and attended the original India School, agricultural school, worked for the railroad, was a farmer, and owner of a Century Farm dating back to 1823.
He leaves behind his wife Janette Ealey McDaniel, of Paris. They were married on May 23, 1942. He also leaves behind a daughter Patsy (Steve) Blount, a son, Charles (Sandra) McDaniel, all of Paris along with three grandchildren Jason (Alex) McDaniel, Callie Marie Blount, of Spring Hill, and Ryan Allen (Kristin), of Clarksville.
Visitation will be 4-7pm on Tuesday January 7th and from Noon Wednesday January 8th until service time. Service will be at 1pm Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral home. Burial will be in the Hansel Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Tennessee Quality Hospice, 207B Highway 641 N., Camden, TN 39320, or Henry County Sheriff's Office Animal Shelter, 622 Jones Bend Road, Paris, TN 38242.

Jonah McKenzie
L.T. "Jonah" McKenzie, age 81 of Springville, passed away Saturday January 4th, at the Henry County Medical Center.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Raymond W. and Winnie Ruth McKenzie.
He leaves behind his wife, Janie Chandler McKenzie of Springville. They were married in December of 1991. He also leaves three sons, Tony (Tracy) Parker, of Big Sandy, Curtis Parker, of Puryear, and Jason (Shannon) Parker, of Springille. Others left include three sisters, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 10am on Wednesday January 8th at McEvoy Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-7pm on Tuesday and after 9am on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Memorial Cemetary.

Dorothy Nichols
Dorothy June McWherter Nichols, age 85, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn. She was married May 17, 1947 to Roger Nichols and he preceded in death May 14, 2008.
Dorothy was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and formerly worked at Holley Carburetor Plant and the Mitchum Company. She was also a beautician for several years and enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing & quilting.
She was born September 21, 1928 in Palmersville, TN to the late Cleborn McWherter and the late Alvie Smith McWherter.
Dorothy is survived by her One Daughter, Elmarie (Larry) Dunlap of Paris, Tenn.; One Son, Michael Roger Nichols of Paris, Tenn.; One Sister, Sister-Rachel Kay Isbell of Niles, Ill.; Two Brothers, Jimmy McWherter of Michigan, Dan McWherter of Michigan; Grandchildren, April (Randy) Tanner & Jason Dunlap; 4 Step Grandchildren; Great Grandchildren, Jordan Dunlap, Bryce Dunlap, Brandon Dunlap, Lexie Tanner, Alex Tanner; 10 Step Great Grandchildren; Great-Great Grandchild-Alliegh Tanner.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2014 and after 10:00 AM Saturday, January 4, 2014 until the Funeral Service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 4, 2014.
Lynn King & Corey Cain will officiate.
Burial will follow in Olive Branch cemetery Near Cottage Grove, Tenn.

Hazel Cox
Hazel M. Tuck Cox, age 88, of Cottage Grove passed away at her residence on New Year's Day.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Samuel Calvin Tuck and Clem Pounds Tuck and by her husband Jessie Willard Cox.
Cox is survived by her children Dorothy Miller of Cottage Grove and Larry Cox of Paris.
She was a member of Cottage Grove Baptist church and long time Girl Scout Leader.
Services will be held at 2pm Saturday January 4th at McEvoy Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10am until 2pm on Saturday January 4th.

Jerry McCree
Jerry McCree, age 72 of Morristown died Thursday August 6th at Park West Hospital in Knoxville.
A funeral service will be held in Morristown, TN on Saturday with Allen Funeral Home of Morristown will be in charge. Local service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 10, 2015 with McEvoy Funeral in charge. Visitation will be Sunday August 9th from 4-8pm.

Jake Greene
Jake "Bucky" Greene, Jr. Age: 82 of Middleton, TN, passed away Sunday August 2, 2015 at the Regional One Hospital in Memphis. Funeral service 12:00PM Friday August 7, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Corey Glover of First Christian Church officiating, burial will follow in Bevil Cemetery.
Visitation 10:00AM Friday until service time.
He was born in Paris, TN to the late Jake Greene, Sr. and Myrtle Mae Williams Greene. On August 23, 1952 he married Margaret Melton Greene, she preceded December 13, 2011.
Survived by daughters: Pam (Joe) Jackson, Middleburg, FL, Teresa (Tom) Morrison, Collierville, TN, Kris (Brian) Barron, Barton, MS; sons: Greg (Michelle) Greene, Middleton, TN, James "Nicky" Greene, Middleton, TN; sisters: Audrey Smith, Paris, TN; brother: Billy Joe Greene, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Marshal Jackson, Lesley Beck, Nicole Thomas, Bryce, Jordan and McKinley Morrison, Zack and Tyler McKee and Shoshana Kennedy; great-grandchildren: Kaylie Jackson, Dean Austin, Ty Thomas, Emily and Annabelle Beck; sister-in-law: Shirley Sliger, Paris, TN.
Mr. Greene was an engineer for Moltan Company for 27 years, after retiring he worked as a consultant for them for 8 more years. He also had a general contractor’s license, designed and built 2 plants for Moltan. Jake formerly worked for Oil Dri Inc., Mid Florida Mining and Anschutz Co. He was a pilot who enjoyed flying and also enjoyed drawing. Jake served 18 years with the TN Army National Guard in Paris. A family member said that he was a very determined man who never stopped learning and was always able to solve any problem he encountered and always had a good story to tell.

Sadie Cronin
Mrs. Sadie Faye Cronin age 63, of Buchanan TN, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015. On July, 4, 1968 she married her husband Ernest Cronin of Buchanan, TN. She leaves two sons Ernest (Kristen) Cronin, Jr. of Blythewood, South Carolina and Shaun (Marci) Cronin of Paris, Tennessee; a sister, Betty Gore of Rockport, Indiana; brothers, Daniel Decker, Jr., Maurice (Martha) Decker, Kenny (Connie) Decker, Henry (Diane) Decker, all of Rockport, Indiana, Kurt (Cindy) Decker of Florida; grandchildren, Kimberly Murphy, Heather, Hunter, Claire, Garrett, Elizabeth and Ethan Cronin; great-grandchildren, Trenton Cronin, Connor and Mason Winters, and Tia Murphy.
She was preceded by sisters, Stella Hoover, Thelma Serwon; brothers, Charles, Bob, O’Neal, Harold, and Chester Decker.
Mrs. Cronin enjoyed crafting and loved her dogs, Toby and Pugsie. A family member said that Sadie’s favorite holiday was Christmas and that she went all out for it every year.
Her body is to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
