David Ronald Brown
The Funeral service for David Ronald Brown, age 45, will be held Saturday August 1, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Paris Convention Center with Victor E. Eskew officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Along with his sister, David co-owned and operated Hulme Sporting Goods where he enjoyed working with his entire family. They celebrated 40 years of business in 2015. He was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ, enjoyed spending times with his family and friends at the lake and woodworking. His real passion was working at his family’s store and helping people of the Paris and Henry County Community. Whether thru a fundraiser or just expediting a job, David was always willing to lend his help and support.
David was born November 21, 1969, in Paris, TN, to Ronald “Ron” and Sue Windsor Brown of Paris, who survive.
He married
Shawaree Spann Brown of Paris March 21, 1998, who survives. They have two children: Emilee and Shawn David Brown. Also surviving are his sister Kim (Ernie) Veglio of Paris and their daughters Allie and Anna Veglio. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Besides his immediate family he leaves special friends: Dan and Tammy Owens of Paris, a father in law: Jimmy (Debbie) Spann of Paris and a step father in law: Frank Valentine of Paris.
Preceding in death are his grandparents: Carnell and Helen Jackson, Albert and Treva Brown and his mother in law Alice Valentine.
Pallbearers for the service will be Mike Jackson, Dan Jackson, Brian “Hoppy” Hopkins, Barry Flood, Donnie Lewis and Mark Pritchett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Owens, Frank Valentine, Danny Morgan and the entire Henry County Patriot Community.
Friends may visit with the family at Ridgeway Funeral Home Friday from 4-8 pm and Saturday after 11 am at the Paris Convention Center.
Mildred Dortch Smith
Mildred Dortch Smith, age 93 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Monday July 27, 2015 in Jacksonville.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday August 4, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. John Smith of Fairview Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery.

William Leo Smith he preceded September 16, 2004.

Robert Mouton
Robert Lee Mouton, age 65, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, July 19, 2015, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. He was Church of Christ and an Army veteran who served in Vietnam Era He enjoyed watching football, golf, and joy rides in his car.
He was the son of the late Lawrence Mouton and the late Betty Dronet Mouton.
He is survived by his two daughters, Nicole Mouton & fiance Michael Oakley of Paris, Tenn. and Lisa Venissat of Gueydan, La; one son, Jason Mouton of Crowley, La., one sister-Linda Herpin of Crowley, La., Three Brothers, Jerry (Gwen) Mouton of Mermentau, La., Lawrence Clark Mouton of Lafayette, La. and Johnny (Cindy) Mouton of Lafayette, La. and his former wife Jocelyn Norwood of Hollow Rock, TN.
Mr. Mouton has six grandchildren: Angelle' Venissat, Dante' Mouton, Blair Venissat, Chloe' Broussard, Kylie Mouton and Kohen Mouton along with 9 nieces and nephews.

Baron Guttenberger
Baron Von Guttenberger, age 10, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Sunday, July 19, 2015, at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He just completed 5th Grade at Harrellson School and he enjoyed playing T-Ball with the Martin All-Ball League. He also loved movies, eating out, shopping, and loved his dog Lady.
He was born September 10, 2004 on Jackson, TN to the late Greg Guttenberger and Jennifer Heilman Guttenberger of Cottage Grove, TN.
Besides his mother, he is also survived by his Maternal Grandmother, Patricia (Donnie) Heilman of Tiffin, OH; Maternal Grandfather, Richard Heilman of Tiffin, OH; Paternal Grandmother, Anne Arnold Guttenberger of Paris, TN; 9 Uncles, 2 Aunts and Several Cousins; and 3 Special Caregivers, “Aunts” Melissa Jones, Deb Caceres, and April Vaughn Hill.
Besides his father, he is also preceded in death by Paternal Grandfather, Norb Guttenberger and 1 Aunt.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Thursday, July 23, 2015 with a Rosary at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9 – 10:30 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11 am Friday, July 24, 2015.
Nell Weaver
Nell Puryear Weaver, age 94, of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.
She married
in January 26, 1943 to George W. Weaver he preceded in death July 9, 1992.
Nell was a Church of Christ. She retired May 1, 1982 as a bookkeeper from the Board of Public Utilities. She was a member of Business & Professional Women, United Daughters of Confederacy, Gold Star Wives and the Henry County Pioneers.
She was born April 1, 1921 in Paris, TN to the late Douglas Allen Puryear and the late Ursula Muriel Austin Puryear.
She is survived by her One Daughter, June Weaver Larmour of Coldwater, Miss; Granddaughter, Elizabeth L. (Dan) Larsen of Memphis, TN; Great Grandchildren, Cameron Hastings, Andrew Hastings, and Nicholas Kroboth-Larsen.
Besides her Husband and Parents, she was also preceded in death by a Son-in-law, Michael S. Larmour, and Brothers, Bernard Puryear, and Billy Puryear.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 12 – 2 pm Wednesday, July 22, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
Jason Hart will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jack Veazey, Dan Larsen, Cameron Hastings, Andrew Hastings, Nichols Kroboth-Larsen, and Richard Edwards. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Combs and all former and present linemen with the Board of Public Utilities.
Interment will be at Walker cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
