Ernest Hoagland, Jr.
Ernest Hoagland Jr., 89 of Owensboro, Ky. passed from this life peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his daughters home in Big Sandy, Tenn. He was born in Daviess County, Ky. on May 31, 1926 to the late Ernest and Bertha Hoagland. He was a watch maker for over fifty years and worked his last twenty years at NTA Custom Jewelers. Ernie was a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church and was a ordained deacon for over fifty years. He volunteered at the River Park Center and enjoyed visiting at the hospital for the church and visiting the home bound. He was a WWII veteran of the US Navy and was Gunner Mate Third Class. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Betty Joan Hoagland on October 7, 2005, and his second wife of 6 years, Virginia Wahl Hoagland on June 25, 2014.
He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Morgan and her husband Dale of Big Sandy, TN.; two grandchildren, Tim Holler (Samantha) and Megan Holler; one great grandchild, Avery Lauren; two step grandchildren, Allen Morgan and Stanley Morgan (Sandy); and two sisters, Grace Norris of Owensboro, and Elizabeth Lancaster of Richmond, VA.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro Kentucky. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday and after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday until service time at James H Davis Funeral Home.

Francis "Frank" Wood
Francis "Frank" Wood, age 83 of Paris died at his residence on Sunday June 14th. He was an Air Force Mechanic who served in the Korean War and retired from the Illinois Dept. of Transportation.
Visitation will be after 9am Tuesday June 16th and funeral will be at 11am Tuesday June 16th at McEvoy Funeral home. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery.
Edward G. Clement
Edward G. Clement, age 91, of Jackson, TN, died on June 13, 2015, at Regional Hospital of Jackson.
Edward was born on February 15, 1924 in Springville, Tennessee. He was raised on a farm and graduated from Springville High School. He was inducted into the Army Air Corp in 1943. He work for TVA in New Johnsonville and retired from Shelby County Building Code Enforcement. Edward was a member of Springville Masonic Lodge #130 since May 17, 1952, where he was a Master Mason. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed retirement and especially his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Seaborn Glen Clement and Mary Elizabeth Farmer Clement. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Veazey.
Edward married
Diana Elizabeth Smith Clement on November 24, 1949 and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, three sons, Jim (Connie) Clement, of Jackson, Tommy Clement and Gerald Clement, both also of Jackson.
Sisters, Virginia Clendenin, of Martin, Catherine Pafford, of Nashville, Ann Smith, of Cordova, and June Rawls, of Greenfield.
Grandchildren, Jenny Koebernick, Julie Price, Sara Luedecke, Catherine Weddington, Emily Clement Ashley Coleman and Lee Clement, survive. Great-Grandchildren, Maddie, Sophie and James Luedecke, Ava and Ruthie Price and Olive and Iris Koebernick.
Other relatives surviving include local Sisters-In-Law, Barbara Muzzall, Marilyn Townsend and Crystel Smith. Also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. and Bro. Brian Wimberley will officiate.
Pallbearers are Dan Townsend, Ronnie Reeves, Alec Bomar, Paul Clendenin, Glen Pafford, Bill Pafford, David Smith, Danny Smith. Honorary: Lynn Luedecke, Brent Price, Will Weddington and Troy Coleman.
Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetary.
Damien Eller
Damien Matthew Eller, age 36, of Weber City, Va., died Sunday, June 7, 2015, at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn. He was a sheet metal fabricator at American Mechanical Contractors in Fall Branch, TN. He graduated from Colerain High School in Cincinnati, OH, and formerly attended Cincinnati State College. He loved dancing, playing games, art and being a D.J.
He was the son of Byron and Donna Isbell Eller of Paris.
He is also survived by his son: Orion Reign Eller Kamman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brother: Joshua Thomas Eller of Cincinnati, Ohio, Fiancée Amber Marie King and her son Devin Mason Street of Weber City, VA., and grandparents: Thomas Glenn and Betty Jean McRee Isbell of Paris and Vera C. Daniels Eller of Blanchester, OH.
Damien was preceded in death by his grandfather Ronald Lee Eller.
Pallbearers for the service are Brent Wampler, Joshua Eller, Dwayne Whitfield, David Chandler, Shane Arents & Paulie Johnson.

Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 12, 2015 and after 9:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2015. Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel Ridgeway of Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2015, with Johnny Patterson officiating. Interment will be at Olive Branch cemetery in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
Mary Opal Thompson
Mary Opal Thompson, age 59, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, June 5, 2015, at her residence. She married
in 1976 to Albert Thompson Jr., who preceded in death. She attended Bible study at Tomorrow's Hope.
She was the daughter of the late John Otis Marcum and the late Mary Frances Marcum.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mary May Thompson of Paris, Tenn., Melinda May Thompson & fiancé Edward Long of Paris, Tenn. One son, Albert John Thompson & fiancée Amanda Holt of Paris, Tenn. Six grandchildren: Alyssa Thompson, Alanna Thompson, Fabre’ Thompson, Essence Thompson, Shawn Thompson – Long and Savannah Long.

Her funeral service will be graveside at Henry County Tabernacle cemetery at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2015, with Liz Douglas officiating. Interment will be at Henry Co. Tabernacle cemetery in Springville, Tenn.
Jackie Lewis
Jacqueline Elizabeth "Jackie" Bacon Lewis, age 81 of Santa Fe, New Mexico, died on June 4th.

William "Bill" Baringer
Retired supervisor from Phillips and also an Engineer from DuPage County Illinois, William H. "Bill" Baringer, age 79, of Buchanan, TN passed away Thursday June 4, 2015 at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris.
A Memorial service will be Friday June 12, 2015 11:30AM at the Antioch United Methodist Church where he was a member and sang in the choir for 15 years. Pastor Linda Hillard of Antioch United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM Friday until time of service. He was born May 14, 1936 in Continental, OH to the late Harold and Clara Fischer Baringer. On September 21, 1985 he married
Janice McGovern Baringer, she survives.
Bill is survived by daughters: Teresa Lantz, Colorado Springs, CO, Cindi Baringer, Fort Wayne, IN; sons: Todd Baringer, Saint Petersburg, FL, Kevin (Kim) Gilsdorf, Chicago, IL, Jess Gilsdorf, Mount Sterling, IL; sisters: Kim Rue, Alice Gebhart; brother: Charles Baringer; grandchildlren: seventeen, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceded by sisters: Phyllis Baringer, Judy Schrieber and a brother: James Cullian.

Ernest A. "Ernie" Flowers, Sr., age 65, passed away Sunday June 7, 2015 at his residence in Mansfield.
Funeral service 11:00AM Wednesday June 10, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home, his brother Joseph Flowers will officiate and burial will follow at Haymes Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Mac Caldwell, Dwayne Crews, Roger Clendenin, Telly Muzzall, Howard Muzzall and Jimmy Tosh. Skip Carothers, Jack Norwood and Tommy Pettit will serve as honorary pallbearers.

He was born in Mansfield to the late William Robert Flowers, Sr and Kathryn Louise Bowden Flowers. On July 26, 1994 he married
Linda Lankford Flowers, she survives.

Ernie graduated from Henry High School in 1967 and attended Memphis State University. He had a lengthy tenure in the corporate world before retiring from Crane Plumbing in 2006, returning to Henry County to pursue his love of farming an ranching.

Laverne Norwood Throgmorton, age 100 of Paris, died Saturday June 6th at Henry County Healthcare Center.
She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and retired from Holley Carburetor of Paris.

Janice Bratton
Janice Kay Bratton, age 61, of Puryear, Tenn., died Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Jackson Madison Co. Gen. Hosp. in Jackson, Tenn.
She was a retired cashier at Wal-Mart in Paris. She also formerly worked at Holley Carburetor Plant, Gary's Discount, Guinn's Shoes, and PML. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was born October 13, 1953 in Pontiac, MI to the late Joseph Cook III and the late Viola May French Cook.
She is survived by her Two Daughters, Christie Connell of Puryear, Tenn, Alisa (James) Causey of Paris, Tenn; One Son, Robert Aaron (Kelli) Bratton of Grand Bay, Ala; One Sister, Patricia Huotari of St. Helen, Mich; One Brother, Joseph Cook, IV of West Branch, Mich; Grandchildren, Brady Bratton, Hannah Bratton, Hailey Bratton, Erin Bratton, Myles Bratton, Lucas Connell, James “Little-Man” Causey, and Emily Causey; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Donald Butler
Donald Ivan Butler, 72, died after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at his home in Fort Worth, TX.
A Memorial Service will be held at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 12 - 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6th. The Service will begin at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Don was born April 28, 1943 in Halls, TN and grew up in Paris.
He was a proud member of the United States Air Force, an avid amateur radio operator (call sign, N4UJW), and webmaster of hamuniverse.com.
Don is survived by his wife of 37 years: Earlene Parrish Butler; sons John (Amanda) Butler, William Butler, David (Karen) Brown, Richard (Stephanie) Brown; grandsons Vashon and Trent Brown, & Johnathan and Jody Strickland. His mother: June Butler; brothers: Bobby Butler and Tommy (Mary) Butler; sisters: Cindy (Steve) Schaffer and Jan Butler, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: Ivan Butler and daughter: Donna Jo Allen.
