Nancy L. Rhodes, age 74 of Puryear, died Sunday May 10th at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
There will be a creamation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held later.
James Thomas Hobbs
James Thomas Hobbs, age 74, of Cottage Grove, died Tuesday May 12th at Jackson Madison County Hospital.
Visitation will be Saturday May 16th after Noon until service time at 2pm at McEvoy Funeral home.
Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery.
James was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Palmersville. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. James also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Elizbeth Surrat
Elizabeth Mary “Liz” Suratt, age 72, of Clarksville, Tenn., died Monday, May 11, 2015, at her residence in Clarksville, Tenn.
She was married
to James Ronald Suratt in 1974 and he survives. She Retired after 34 years from the U.S. Civil Service as a Intel Security Specialist with a rank of G.S. 12. She was a Member of the Molly Pitcher Association and she was also an amazing dancer and line dancing instructor.
Liz was born July 6, 1942 in Manchester, New Hampshire to the late Carolous Trottier and the late Irene Thornton Trottier.
Besides her husband Ronald, she is survived by her Three Daughters, Jamie L. Southerland of Lawton, Okla, Julene D. (John) Campion of Allentown, Pa, Jennifer M. (Crystal) Suratt of Dayton, Ohio; Three Sons, Michael S. (Renee) Pierce of Piedmont, Okla, Matthew T. (Amber) Suratt of Clarksville, Tenn, Marty S. Suratt of Clarksville, Tenn; One Sister, Judith Patterson of Chandler, Ariz; Three Brothers, David Trottier of Rogersville, Mo, Jonathan Trottier of St. Roberts, Mo, Paul Trottier of Mesa, Ariz; Grandchildren, Dustin, Dillon, and Dakota Southerland, Shayna Sanders, Pierce Campion, Kirsten "Kiki" Pierce, Alec Pierce, Destani, Jeffrey, and Justice Suratt; Great Grandchildren, Mecaila and Paisley Southerland, Grayson and Addalynn Sanders, and Tristyn Pugh.

Interment will be at Locust Grove Church of Christ cemetery in Bradford, Tenn.

Longtime member of Maplewood Baptist Church, Marie Hill Wood, age 87, of Paris passed away at her home Monday, May 11, 2015.
Her funeral service will be Thursday May 14, 2015 2:00PM at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Veazey officiating, burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Paul Wood, Steve Clendenin, Gary Hill, Dudley Pate, Richard Owen and Dean Slaughter.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Wednesday and after 11:00AM Thursday until service time.
She was born August 20, 1927 in Paris to the late Richard Lee "Jack" and Mary Elizabeth Hudson Hill. One February 22, 1946 she married
Grover Davis "Woody" Wood, he preceded March 6, 1997. They had three daughters: Jan (Mike) Wilson, Paris, Tammy (Gary) Vandiver, Paris and Anne Evans, she preceded September 13, 1999.
Survived by grandchildren: Lauren (Randy Nelson) Wilson, Jordan (Nathan) Planchon; great-granddaughter: Jaelyn Wilson; brother: Charles (Pat) Hill, North Hodge, LA and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded by sisters: Frances Routon, February 27, 2000, Mary Hill in infancy and a brother: Earl Hill, June 16, 1974.
Marie enjoyed her family and especially loved her grand and great-grandchildren. A family member said that she was a lady of strong Christian values and the absolute best wife, mother, grandmother and friend that anyone could have. She worked and retired from Holley Carburetor Plant formerly of Paris.

Donald Barnett, Sr.
Donald Henry “Don” Barnett, Sr., age 64, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at his residence in Buchanan, Tenn.
He was married
May 5, 1970 to Brenda Yeadon Barnett and she survives. Don was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church. He was an avid eagle collector and he enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and his 2 dogs.
He was born June 21, 1950 in Nashville, TN to the late Herman C. Barnett and the late Margaret Rupley Barnett.
Besides his wife Brenda, he is also survived by his One Son, Donald Henry Barnett, Jr. of Buchanan, Tenn; Two Sisters, Jane (Phil) Riveria of Nashville, Tenn, Stella Barnett of Florida; Five Brothers, Herman (Brenda) Barnett of Florida, John Thomas Barnett of Atlanta, Ga., George Barnett of Madison, Tenn, Walter (Sandy) Barnett of Nashville, Tenn, and Fred Barnett of Madison, Tenn; Grandchildren, Jacob Quentin Barnett, Alaina Nicole Barnett, and Devan Ray Barnett.

Jerry E. Lemonds, age 53, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.
Jerry was a Cattle Farmer and Owner and Operator of Lemonds Lime Service.
He was born April 12, 1962 in Paris, TN to the late Ernest Lemonds and the late Marisceale McDaniel Lemonds.
He is survived by his One Brother, Tommy Lemonds of Paris, Tenn; Aunt, Lucille Melton of Puryear, TN; Uncle, Paul (JoAnn) Lemonds of Florida; Cousins, Brenda (Chris) Hendrix of Paris, TN, Linda (Darrell) Partin of Florida, Barbara Lemonds of Michigan, and Robert Lemonds of Virginia.

No visitation is planned. The service will be Graveside at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015.

Brandon Lee Mullins, age 22, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, May 7, 2015, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.
Brandon was a 2011 Graduate of Henry County High School.

Charles E. Lampkins, age 72, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Jackson Madison Co. Gen. Hosp. in Jackson, Tenn.
He was married
Dec 21, 1963 to Carolyn K. Nichols Lampkins and she survives. Charles was a self- employed plumber and electrician for many years. He enjoyed raising cattle.
He was born October 18, 1942 in Paris, TN to the late Hayden Lampkins and the late Willie Mae Morris Lampkins.

William Greene
William J. “Bill” Greene, age 67, of Paris, Tenn., died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Jackson Madison Co. Gen. Hosp. in Jackson, Tenn.
Bill was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He retired from Advance Auto as a Training Coordinator in Cocoa Beach, FL. He also retired from the US Navy after 25 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and member of the American Legion Post 89 in Paris.
He was born January 17, 1948 in Lenoir, NC to the late John McKinley Greene and the late Jessie Mae Harrison Greene.
He is survived by his Three Sons, Richard Jason (Amy) Greene of Benton Harbor, Mich, William J. Greene, II of Kansas City, Kan, John Thomas (Johnna) Greene of Kansas City, Kan; One Brother, Paul D. (Ernestine) Greene of Cocoa Beach, Fla; Grandchildren, Erin Greene, Abby Greene, John Greene II, Isaac Greene, and Khloe Greene.
Bill was also preceded in death by a Sisters, Edna Ballew and Judy Ballew; Brothers, John E. Greene and Larry D. Greene.
