Bruno Przepiorski
Bruno Przepiorski, age 87, of Paris died on Tuesday March 17th at his residence.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home and the funeral will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10am at Fri. March 20th. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park cemetery in Paducah.

Clyde Watkins
Clyde Weldon Watkins, age 81, of Springville, Tenn., died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at his residence in Springville, Tenn.
Clyde married Mary Askew Watkins March 23, 2011 and she survives. He retired from a life of military service after serving 16 years in the Air Force and 4 years in the Navy. He was a former Real Estate Broker and Entrepreneur in Alaska for many years. He was also a private pilot, coach, Cub Scout leader and artist and he loved his dogs Woody and Winnie.
He was born February 27, 1934 in Miston, TN to the late Willis Hayden Watkins and the late Emma Marie Baggett Watkins.
Besides his wife Mary, He is also survived by his Two Sons, Joe (Cheri) Watkins of Springville, Tenn, Jerry (Gail) Watkins of Paris, Tenn; One Step-Daughter, Rhonda (Jay) Cooley of Kenton, Tenn; Three Sisters, Deborah Sage of Rogers, Ark, Barbara Patterson of Hartlage, Mo, Joan Benson of Rogers, Ark; One Brother, Gary Watkins of Doniphan, Mo; Two Grandchildren, Darren Watkins and Kevin Watkins; Five Step Grandchildren, Anthony Conklin, Michael Conklin, Samantha Conklin, Drew Cooley, and Ashley Cooley; Numerous Great Grandchildren; and his 2 Dogs - Woody and Winnie.
Clyde was also preceded in death by a Sister, Margie Crawford and Brother, Bobby Watkins.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 12 – 2 pm Friday, March 13, 2015.
The Service will be Graveside at Foundry Hill Community of Christ cemetery at 2:30 pm Friday, March 13, 2015.
Dale Gallimore and Dick Cochran will officiate.
Interment will be at Foundry Hill Community of Christ cemetery in Puryear, Tenn.

Cleo Vester
Cleo Fugate Vester, age 82, of Paris, Tenn., died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married to Harry Vester and he preceded in death. She formerly worked at Holley Carburetor Plant.
She wasborn January 6, 1933 in Hindman, KY to the late Tom Fugate and the late Ellen Fitz Fugate.
She is survived by her One Daughter, Patricia Wagster of Paris, Tenn; One Son, James (Myriam) Vester of Frisco, Texas; Two Sisters, Marie Charles of Buchanan, Tenn, Polly Riddle of Ft. Wayne, Ind; Six Grandchildren, Erin Hathaway, Robert Radford, Lisa Wilson, Jimmy Vester, Sophie Vester, and Alex Vester; Three Great Grandchildren, Taylor Hathaway, Mia Kendall and Caleb Vester.
Besides her Husband and Parents, She was also preceded in death by a Son, Harry Thomas Vester and 6 Siblings.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 10 - 11:30 am Monday, March 16, 2015. The Funeral Service will be Graveside at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 12:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2015.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tenn.

Ann Archie
Ann Archie, age 73, of Paris, Tenn., died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She retired after 30 years with State of Tennessee Employment & Unemployment office as employment security interviewer and was a Member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church.
Ann's famous saying was: "Better to have lived and made memories than not lived and made regrets."
She was born June 19, 1941 in Tiptonville, TN to W.C. Archie and the late Lillian Beauton Brewer Insco.
She is survived by her Two Sons, Jim Story of Dover, Tenn, Doug Story of Stewart, Tenn; Two Brothers, Bill Archie of Puryear, Tenn, Bob Archie of California; Special Nephew, Jeff (Stephanie) Archie of Paris, TN; Special Great Nephew, Brock David Archie of Paris, TN, Great Nephew, Carter Archie of Paris, TN and Great Niece, Lillie Archie of Paris, TN and Several other Nieces and Nephews.
Besides her Parents, Ann was also preceded in death by a Special Friend, Sherry Crawford.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 9 – 11 am Friday, March 13, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, March 13, 2015.
Chad Kennedy will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Archie, Donnie Archie, Ramie Colson, David Schmidt, Tony Nichols, and Richie Rumfelt. Brock David Archie will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
Interment will be at Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, Tenn.
Memorials may be made to: Henry County Sheriff Office Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 639, Paris, TN 38242.

Val Routon
Amelia Valdeaurine (Val) Rucker Routon died March 11, 2015. Born August 6, 1917 in Carroll County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edmund Birten Rucker and Velma Patterson Rucker. An alumnus of the University of Tennessee at Martin, she was a public school teacher for 5 years, and was later employed by the State of Tennessee, Department of Human Services, for 27 years as a Senior Social Counselor. Eight years after retirement, she returned to work as a Child/Family Advocate with Tennessee Cares, retiring at the age of 83. In 1957, she and her late husband established a farming interest on land that had been in the Routon family for over 150 years.
Active in community and civic affairs, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paris, the Quota Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Colonial Dames. In addition, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the Girls’ Chorus. She also served on the original committee, headed by the late Susan Kennon, which led to the establishment of the Cary Counseling Center, and she later served as a board member for that center.
Last year County Mayor Brent Greer awarded her the Patriot’s Award for outstanding service to the Paris Community. Devoted to her own family, she was also long-time advocate for children and their families.
On June 2, 1940, Val married Stephen James Routon, Jr., who died September 15, 2001. She is survived by 3 children: Gini Routon Williams of River Forest, Illinois. Stephanie Routon Tayloe (Keith Paschall), and Richard Rucker Routon (Sheila); seven grandchildren: Thomas Routon Williams of Los Angeles, Dr. Arthur Burton Williams (Alaine) of Loveland, Ohio; James Curtis Williams (Jessica) of Chicago; Jill Routon Wilson (Andy) of McKenzie; Richard Matthew Routon (Emily) of Murfreesboro, TN., Joshua James Routon, and Kristen Routon Bevill (Adam); 10 great-grand-children: Nathaniel James Williams and Amelia Elaine Williams of Loveland, Ohio; Spellings Andrew Wilson, Richard Clay Wilson, and Routon Scott Wilson of McKenzie; Thalia Emil McInnis Routon of Meridian, Miss.; Bricen Rucker May, Penelope Bevill, Adam Jarrett Bevill and Mason James Routon, all of Paris.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Viginia Rucker Routon (Joe), three brothers: Edmund Birten Rucker (Louise), Dr. Henry Rucker (Louise), and Robert Patterson Rucker (Mary), and a son-in-law Samuel Albert Tayloe.
Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 4-8p.m. on Friday March 13 and on Saturday from 9-10:30 am. The funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Paris. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Larry Simmons of First Baptist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Matthew Routon, Joshua Routon, Van Rucker, Arthur Williams, Curtis Williams, Andrew Wilson, Nathaniel Williams, Tim Huggins, Phil Routon, and Ed Routon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Clay Wilson, Bricen Rucker May, Theodore Williams, Routon Scott Wilson, Adam Jarrett Bevill, Mason James Routon.
Memorials may be made to: Quota Club Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 301, Paris, Tennessee.

Doris Delaney
Doris Ann Carlton Delaney, age 83, of Springville, Tenn., died Monday, March 9, 2015, at her residence in Springville, Tenn.
She was married to Robert T. Delaney, September 29, 1956 and he preceded in death August 28, 2010. She was a member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church in Gleason, TN. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and taking care of her dogs. She was a retired supervisor at the Milan Arsenal and she had formerly lived in the Milan, Dresden and McKenzie areas.
She was born August 25, 1931 in Jackson, TN to the late Bill Carlton and the late Ruby Walker Carlton.
She is survived by her One Son, Buddy Hughes of Springville, Tenn; One Sister, Lynda (Terry) Warren of Milan, Tenn; and her beloved pets, Sugar and Hobo Delaney.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 11 am – 2 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2015. The Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
Dr. Trent Bullock will officiate. Pallbearers will be Paul Cry, Emory Bradley, Daron Harrison, Hal T. Burke, Dan Tharpe, Friedel Carlton, Reddie King and Terry Warren.
Interment will be at Double Springs cemetery near Humboldt, Tenn.

Mary Beard
Mary Belle (Mainey) Beard died on the morning of March 10th at Henry County Medical Center. Born July 9, 1926, Mrs. Beard was the daughter of the late Ruby Edwards Currier and John Nathaniel Currier. She married Bernis William Beard on November 19, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2003.
A native of Paris, Mrs. Beard attended Atkins-Porter and Grove High School, where she was the President of the Class of 1944. A graduate of Southwestern at Memphis (now Rhodes College), she was employed by the Department of Human Services in Weakley and Henry Counties, and the Henry County Extension Service. She and her husband owned and operated The Toggery, which was established in 1917 by Mr. and Mrs. Currier, from the mid - 1960's until their retirement in the late 1980's.
A member of the Janusette Delphian Club, and also the Town and Country FCE Club, Mrs. Beard served as a volunteer for the Helping Hand, the Blood Bank, and the Foster Home for Henry County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. In later years she resided at Morningside in Paris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernis William Beard; son, Johnny Beard, who passed away on March 22, 1962, following heart surgery; her brother, William Thomas Currier; sister, Pat Currier Key; and nephew Bill Currier. She is survived by her son, David Currier Beard of Parsons; daughter, Susan (Kevin) Robertson; and granddaughters, Sophie Grace Robertson, Tawny (Joe) Ehlert and Megan (Jon) Unger of Orange, CA. Survivors also include nieces Carolynn Hamlet, Patty (John) Marschel, Dr. Cindy (George) Cole, and nephews Joe (Carol) Hamlet, Harry (Peg) Williams, Bill Beard, Bob (Kathy) Beard, Frank Beard, and 5 great nieces and 3 great nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday March 14 at Maplewood cemetery in Paris at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Tennessee Baptist Children's Home, PO Box 2206, Brentwood, TN 37024 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38105.
McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ted Jarvis
Vance “Ted” Jarvis, age 72, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, March 6, 2015, at Jackson Madison Co. Gen. Hosp. in Jackson, Tenn.
He was married Sept. 30, 1962 to Roberta Mae Bell Jarvis and she survives. He was a former electrician for Quality Casting in Orrville, OH for forty years and he loved fishing.
Ted was born November 19, 1942 in Wadsworth, OH.
Besides his wife, Ted is also survived by his One Daughter, Carol Kirk of Portsmouth, Va; One Son, Robert Jarvis of North Carolina; Grandchildren, Bailey Kirk, Landon Kirk, and Sadie Jarvis.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.
He is to be cremated, No Service is planned.

Donna Taylor
Donna Taylor, age 73, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married August 7, 1959 to Charles Edward Taylor and he preceded in death February 16, 2002. She was a member of McDavid Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker and devoted Grandmother.
Donna was born June 7, 1941 in Paris, TN to the late Truman Hart and the late Mary Chapman Hart.
She is survived by her One Daughter, Dottie (Bobby) Campbell of Paris, Tenn; Daughter-in-law, Carol Taylor of Henderson, Tenn; One Sister, Shirley Ray of Mansfield, Tenn; One Brother, Jerry Hart of Carbondale, Tenn; Grandchildren, Kaisey Taylor, Haylee Taylor, Madison Taylor, Chris Campbell and Timmy Campbell.
Besides her Husband and Parents, Donna was also preceded in death by a Son, James Edward Taylor; Sisters, Thelma Jean Evans, Betty O’Neal, and Joyce O’Neal; and a Brother, Richard Allen Hart.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Tuesday, March 10, 2015 and from 9 – 11 am Wednesday, March 11, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
Ray Whitlow will officiate. Pallbearers will be Eddie Allen, Jeffery Allen, Ricky O’Neal, Pat Paschall, Landon Hames, and Spencer Hart.
Interment will follow in Bethesda cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
