Jay Harrell
Jay Todd Harrell, age 47 of Nashville, TN, formerly of Paris, TN died Tuesday February 3, 2015 in Nashville. Jay was well known in the Automotive industry in Nashville for many years.
He was a member of Crosspoint Church in Nashville and strong in his faith. He was the New Car Sales Manager at Lexus of Nashville for 14 years. He was the former co-owner of Music City Motorsports and former General Sales Manager of Penske Wynn Ferrari and Maserati in Las Vegas, NV. Jay was the Inventor/Creator of D-tagz which is a product used by auto dealers all across the nation. He was Sports enthusiast and enjoyed all watersports, traveling, motorcycles and was an avid music lover.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson Harrell of Nashville, TN; Daughters, Courtland Harrell of Franklin, TN, Taylor Harrell of Dallas, TX and their mother, Gina Rainey Harrell of Franklin, TN; Step Daughter, Dalton Pursley; Parents, Shirley Thompson Harrell of Cardwell, MO and Ernest Junior "Ernie" Harrell of Alamo Texas; Two Sisters, Jeris (Kenny) Harrell Hamm of Ramer, TN, and Jan (Steve) Harrell Young of Rayville, MO; Two Brothers, Max (Nancy) Harrell of Kansas City, MO, and Mark (Janice) Harrell of Dickson TN; Special Family, Joe and Rita Rainey of Puryear, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
Jay was preceded in death by a daughter, Morgan Harrell.
Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris, TN Friday February 6, 2015 from 4 – 7 pm and Saturday after 11 am until the service at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walker cemetery North of Paris.
Dale Smith Thomas and Daughters, Courtland and Taylor Harrell will speak at the service.
Pallbearers will be Terry Milam, Ron Thompson, Neil Buettner, Drew Claudel, Chris Scott, and James Dowland.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the "Jay Harrell Memorial Fund" in support of his daughters at any Regions Bank Branch.

Survived by daughters: Robin Cuthbertson, Paris, Kay Parker, Paris; son: Keith Summerlin, Paris; brother: John (Karen) Foust, Paris; grandchildren: Adam Cuthbertson, Samantha Parker; niece: Traci Putman; nephew: Tim Foust and several great nieces and nephews.
Preceded by her parents: Woodrow and Margaret Walls Foust.
She was retired from BPU.

He was born in Gibson County, TN to the late Lloyd A. and Mary Armentia Patterson Smith.
Survived by his wife: Audrey Mae Green Smith, Paris; daughter: Sherry A. Bennett, Paris; son: Stephen Troy Smith, Paris; sisters: Jesse Mae Smith, San Antonio, TX; Alice (Chuck) Bucy, Paris; brother: Joe Frankie (Peggy) Smith, Louisville, KY and several grandchildren.
Preceded by sisters: Lerline Evans, Martha Jane Vaughn; brothers: James Lloyd Smith, William Eugene Smith, Leroy Smith and Billy Ray Smith.

Bill Wall
William Otis “Bill” Wall, age 78, of Springville, Tenn., died Sunday, January 18, 2015, at his residence in Springville, Tenn.
He was married August 23, 1969 to Annie Louise Capps Wall, and she survives. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years in Chesterfield, MI and he Loved boating, fishing, and hunting.
Bill was born April 11, 1936 in Highland Park, MI to the late Ernest Wall and the late Theressa Pauline Christie Wall.
Besides his wife, he is also survived by his Four Daughters, Colleen Wall & Don Caie of Marysville, Mich, Debbie (Joe) Novak of Romulus, Mich, Johanna (Curt) Tonak of Cambellsville, Ky, Jaqueline Polly of Marine City, Mich; Two Sons, Danny (Anne) Wall of Washington, Mich, Joe Wall of Wyandotte, Mich; One Sister, Jacqueline Jane Palmer of Beaverton, Mich; Two Brothers, Thomas Christie Wall of Algonac, Mich, Robert Ernest Wall of Fair Haven, Mich; Special Care Giver, Peanut Wall of Springville, TN; Special Care Giver & Grandchild, Erin Sturdivant; Grandchildren, Justin Wall, Chad Sturdivant, Jamie Polly, Johnny Polly, Laura Wall, Danielle Wall, Kelly Richardson,
Christopher Richardson, Brittany Wall, and Charlene Nicolai; Great Grandchildren, Alexis Garcia, Giana Wall, Lily Schemke, Rylee Schroder, Emery Mitchell, and Layla Byra.
Bill was also preceded in death by a Son, Marty Wall and Brother, Fred Elsesser.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.
Bill is to be cremated with Memorial Visitation from 2 – 4 pm Thursday, January 22, 2015. The Memorial Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Thursday, January 22, 2015.
Memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.

Carolyn Hart
Carolyn Faye Hart, age 71, of Henry, Tenn., died Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Plumley Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She last worked as an Asst. Manager at the VFW in Mckenzie, TN and formerly worked at Mark 1 Plastics in Henry, TN. She also enjoyed working in her yard and loved riding her lawn mower.
She was born May 7, 1943 in Mansfield, TN to the late Vernon Hart and the late Edith Sanders Hart.
She is also survived by her Two Daughters, Linda Lindsey of Henry, Tenn, Barbara (Charles) Warriner of Bartlett, Tenn; Two Sisters, Ruth (Jim) Knight of Springville, Tenn, Joan(Ernie) Cavasinni of Mentor, Ohio; One Brother, Bill (Shirley) Hart of Georgia; 10 Grandchildren, and Brittany and Sabrina Stair were grandchildren raised by Mrs. Hart.
She was also preceded in death by Daughter, Rita Stair; Sons, James Dean Stair, Robert Stair; Brothers, Ralph Hart and one in infancy.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn. She is to be cremated. Memorial Visitation will be from 4 – 6 pm Friday, January 23, 2015 with a Memorial Service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 6:00 PM Friday, January 23, 2015.
Dwight Turner will officiate.

Vernon Richardson
Funeral service 2:00PM Saturday January 24, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Allison officiating, entombment will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Michael Richardson, Scott Richardson, Luke Richardson, Brad Richardson, Eric Richardson, Ryan Lichtenstein and T.J. Lichtenstein.
Visitation beginning at 12:30PM Saturday until time of service.
He was born in Henry County to the late Lemuel and Mae Medlock Richardson. On December 21, 1946 he married Maurine Hopkins Richardson, she preceded April 6, 2008.
Survived by a daughter: Barb (Tim) Lichtenstein, Carol Stream, IL; sons: Ron (Tootie) Richardson, Buchanan; daughter-in-law: Lillie Richardson, Plainfield, IL; sisters: Wilmadean (James) Bomar, Pulaski, Jane Warren, Paris, Jean Wells, TX; brother: Warren (Kay) Richardson, Paris; brother-in-law: David Arnold, Paris; grandchildren: Michael (Renea) Richardson, Scott Richardson (Kim Fortner), Luke (Jamie) Richardson, Brad (Meredith) Richardson, Eric (Ashley) Richardson, Ryan Lichtenstein, T.J. Lichtenstein; great-grandchildren: Oliver Richardson, Lewis Richardson and Lottie Richardson.
Preceded by a son: Jim Richardson, May 8, 2009; sister: Saline Arnold; brothers: Kenneth Richardson, Harwell Richardson and Basil Richardson.
He was a member of Local 70l Auto Body Tech for 50 years and he was a WWII veteran who was a tank operator in the Battle of the Bulge under General Patton.

Howard Dice
Howard Cecil Dice, age 99, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Oak Manor Health Care Center in McKenzie, Tenn.
He married Audrey M. Sharpe Dice May 28, 1965, and she preceded in death Jan. 3, 2013. He retired from Armco Steel in Torrance, CA. He was a member of The Christ Lutheran Church in Paris and was a member of Masonic Lodge # 437 in Lancaster, CA. He also was a member of lodges in Utah and TN. Howard was a member of the order of the Eastern Star in CA, UT and TN.
He formerly worked for Hugh Hefner and Howard Hughes and he also worked on Amelia Earhart's airplane.
Howard was born March 10, 1915 in West Liberty, Iowa to the late Clint Dice and the late Grace Melick Dice.
He is survived by his Two Daughters, Sandy Dice (Greg) Smith of Buchanan, Tenn, Linda S. (Ray) Smith of Great Falls, Mont; Two Sons, Ken (Diane) Dice of Seattle, Wash, Sananda (Nancy) Allsgood of Denver, Colo; Grandchildren, Roger Peterson, Molly Peterson, Vincent Frisina, Destiny Peasley, Kimberly Dice and Shannon Dice; and Six Great Grandsons.
Besides his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a Son, Steven Howard Dice; Sisters, Mildred Reid & Gertrude Conn; Brothers, Vernon, Warren and Clifford Dice; and Grandchild, Joshua Smith.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn.
He is to be cremated, no service is planned.

Proctor Elkins
Graveside service 1:30PM Saturday January 17, 2015 at Puryear City cemetery with Bro. Don Campbell, Puryear Church of Christ officiating.
Named as pallbearers are Spencer Elkins, Shannon Elkins, Danny Childress, Jim Stubblefield, Mike Aldridge and Glen Gallimore. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Houston, Mark Summers, Jerry Jones, Steve Knott, Danny Gallimore, Pat Petrosky, Howard Petrosky, Tim Holt, William Roy Smith, Trevor Bennett, Troy Bennett, Chris Childress, Robert Mercer and John Goodner.
Visitation 10:30AM - 1:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home. He was born in Paducah, KY to the late Tom and Elizabeth Knott Elkins. On April 9, 1967 he married Patsy Goodner Elkins, survives, Puryear, TN.
Survived by sons: Shane (Jenny) Elkins, Newburgh, IN, Joshua (Brandi Mair) Elkins, Salt Lake City, UT; sisters; Carolyn Wallace, Dover, Faye Ward, Clarksville; brothers: Jimmy (Judy) Wynn, Puryear, sister-in-law: Donna Elkins, Dover; grandchildren: Michelle Childress, Spencer Elkins; great-grandchild: Kimber Childress; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceded by a brother: Joe Elkins.
Mr. Elkins was a member of the Puryear Church of Christ. He was a barber for many years and worked in construction for many years. Best known for the last 40 years as an owner/operator, most recently with Houston Trucking.

Don Sanderson
Donald James “Don” Sanderson, Sr., age 76, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Friday, January 9, 2015, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
Don married September 26, 1959 to Rebecca Alcock Sanderson and she survives. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and was a retired welder for Kodak in Rochester, NY. He also enjoyed Fishing and Hunting.
He was born August 25, 1938 I Fayette, NY to the late Ed Sanderson and the late Ethel McMillian Sanderson Swinehart.
Besides his wife Rebecca, He is also survived by his Five Daughters, Debora (Bob) Hahn of Newark, N.Y., Annette (Allen) Mustain of Paris, Tenn, Ann Marie (Aaron) Hammond of Paris, Tenn, Mary Ellen (Stephen) Underwood of Newark, N.Y., Elizabeth (Derrick) Moe of Phelps, N.Y.; Two Sons, Donald (Karen) Sanderson, Jr. of Dover, Tenn., Thomas Sanderson of Newark, N.Y.; One Sister, Joan Bells of Waterloo, N.Y.; Two Brothers, Edward Sanderson of Virginia Beach, Va., George (Patty) Sanderson of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; Half Brother, Richard (Lorie) Swinehart of Waterloo, NY; Sister-in-law, Linda Sanderson of Waterloo, NY; 14 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a Brother, James Sanderson

He is to be cremated with a Memorial Service Friday January 16, 2015 at 6:00 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Lone Oak Rd. in Paris.
