Frances Lucille Brown Smith, 70, Welch Road, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tom Wilkins officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 19, 1930, in Montgomery County, daughter of Maurice Taylor and Ida Hayes Moore Brown.
Mrs. Smith was a Tupperware manager and member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, James W. Smith; three daughters, Anita Kirby, Clarksville, Robyn Myers, Dover, and Linda Scritchfield, Brentwood; a brother, Hubert Brown, Detroit; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Barlar, Ray Brown, Clayton Keay, Jeffrey Kirby, John Moore, Wes Myers, Phillip Nash and Joshua Sawyer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Elders of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Sunshiners Unit of Music City Sells.
Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He was born Sept. 23, 1910, in Southside, son of Edgar and Alice Batson Davis.
Mr. Davis was a retired automotive machinist.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Elliott Davis; a son, Gene Davis, Grosse Point, Mich.; a brother, Gene Davis, Pa.; two sisters, Mabel Josephs, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Dorothy Drake, Nashville; and three grandchildren.

Michael Smith
Michael Anthony Smith, 46, Barnes Drive, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at Gateway Medical Center.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Excell Baptist Church with the Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating. The remains are to be cremated with Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements.
He was born Aug. 7, 1956, in Taylor, Texas, son of James D. Smith and Betty Brewer Smith.
Mr. Smith was a salesman for Sears, a U.S. Army veteran having served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, a recipient of the Bronze Star, a member of the National Animal Control Association, an instructor and volunteer for the American Red Cross and a speaker and volunteer investigator for the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County.
In addition to his father of Tempe, Ariz., survivors include his wife, Sally Laing Smith; his stepmother, Nancy Smith, Tempe; a son, Michael N. Bridwell, Clarksville; and two daughters, Jenny Sams and Jessie Smith, both of Clarksville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, American Red Cross and Excell Baptist Church.
