Terry Daniel Burkhart, 56, Dover, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, with the Rev. David Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery, Dover.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born May 20, 1946, in Stewart County, son of W.B. Burkhart and Maggie Walker Burkhart. He was preceded in death by a son, Jason T. Burkhart.
Mr. Burkhart was a retired school principal and a member of Big Rock Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Hamm Burkhart; a son, Gregory D. Burkhart, Big Rock; a daughter, Kristi Lowe, Clarksville; a brother, Hal Burkhart, Indian Mound; two sisters, Willene Diebold, Lebanon and Joyce Turner, Clarksville; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Austin, Marshall Barrow, Lexie Coleman, Mike Luton, Luther Mathis and Justin Tucker.
Boyd Smith
Boyd G. "Tinse" Smith, 83, Clarksville, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home with the Revs. Billy Smith and E.G. Sims officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
He was born March 18, 1919, in Montgomery County, son of Irving Coolidge Smith and Lenora Sykes Smith.
Mr. Smith was retired civil service and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a York Rite Mason, a past worshipful master Lodge #761 and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Al Menah Shrine Temple, Nashville, the Clarksville Shrine Club, the VFW, Clarksville Chapter #3, Clarksville Council 105 and Clarksville Commandry #8.
Survivors include his wife, Christene Underwood Smith; a son, Darrell Smith, Old Hickory; a brother, Leslie Smith, Clarksville; two sisters, Mary Rice and Bobbie Jane Dawson, Clarksville; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Smith, Tony Smith, Chuck Smith, Robert Harris, Donald Harris and Charles Harris.

She was born May 15, 1913, in Orlinda, daughter of Elijah Eden and Ida Bell Stringer Eden.
Mrs. Byrd was retired from B.F. Goodrich.
Survivors include her husband, James Edgar Byrd; three daughters, Nelda Bush, Fort Stockton, Texas, Sue Choate, Auburn, Neb. and Martha Powell, Clarksville; a brother, Paul Eden, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

He was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Chicago. He was the widower of Lettie Mae Wyatt Cummings.
