Florine M. Smith, 83, Indian Mound, died Friday, May 24, 2002, at Manor House of Dover.

Frances Spurgeon
Frances Spurgeon, 80, Erin, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville.

Carrie Coke
Carrie J. Coke, 68, Clarksville, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Gateway Medical Center.
Arrangements to be announced by Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home.

Dorothy Moore
Dorothy Mae Moore, 74, Erin, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at her residence of natural causes.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nave Funeral Home, Erin, with the Revs. Robert Mitchell and Rickie Graves officiating. Burial will be in Carl Moore Cemetery, Erin.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 25, 1927, in Houston County, daughter of Bradley and Sallie Spicer Parker.
Mrs. Moore was the co-owner of Moore Construction and a member of Griffins Chapel Nazarene Church and Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Moore; a son, Johnny Moore, Clarksville; a daughter, Pat Spawn, Erin; a brother, Owen Parker, Erin; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Finch, Gilbert Vaughn, Cass Rye, Jeremy Spann, Mat Hymemon and Wilson Parker.
Memorial contributions may be made to Griffins Chapel Nazarene Church.

Louise Rives
Louise Yarbrough Rives, 81, Clarksville, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at her residence.

Malcum Russell
Malcum Russell, 75, Dover, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Veterans Administration Hospital.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, with the Rev. Aquila Penrod and Carl Newberry officiating. Burial will be in  Jackson Cemetery, Dover.
Visitation will be today from 3:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 23, 1926, in Jackson, Ky., son of Andy and Octave Fugate Russell. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Russell.
Mr. Russell was a retired maintenance supervisor for Bethlehem Steel, Burns Harbor, Pa. and a member of First Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Cassidy Russell; a son, Douglas Russell, Dover; Deborah Bau, Woodlawn; four brothers, Albert Russell, Jacksboro, Elmer Russell, Waynesville, Ohio, Eddie Russell, La Port, Ind. and Paul Russell, Dayton, Ohio; four sisters, Betty Campbell, Springtown, Texas, Dottie Eldridge and Rita Eldridge, both of Waynesville and Lucy Little, Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Bau, James Bau, Kenneth Bau, Paul Bau, Jimmy Cassidy and Doug Russell.

Betty Smith
Betty  Johnson Smith, 53, Southside, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at her residence. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at McReynolds Nave and Larson Chapel with the Rev. Glyndia Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

John Strang
John A. Strang, 89, Perrysville, Ohio, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, Mansfield, Ohio.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Fickes Funeral Home, Jeromesville, Ohio, with the Rev. Robert Pflueger officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery, Hayesville, Ohio.
Survivors include a son, Ivan Strang, Perrysville, Ohio; three daughters, Eleanor Leininger, Loudonville, Ohio, Carol Garling, Bradenton, Fla. and Janet Helbert, Ashland, Ohio; a brother, Glenn W. Strang, Erin; two sisters, Goldie Aby, Ashland and Nellie Sipes, Loudonville; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hayesville Lions Club, c/o William Harner, 849 CR, 1904, Ashland, Ohio 44805.

Thomas Harrison
Thomas D. "T.D." Harrison, 75, Memphis, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Family Funeral Care, Summer Avenue, Memphis. Burial will be in Memphis Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle Harrison; a son, Randall Harrison, Clarksville; two daughters, Nancy Leem, Covington and Rita Pass, Bartlett; two brothers, James Harrison, Ripley, and Amos Harrison, Pope, Miss.; three sisters, Frances Ammons, Lakeland, Eldridge Childress, Haus and Joyce Fitzgerald, Oxnard, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Eunice Pendleton
Eunice Pendleton, 86, Springfield, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital.
The funeral will be at noon Wednesday at Robertson County Funeral Home, Springfield. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Springfield.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
She was the daughter of Mattie Pitt and Thomas Draper. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Freddie Pendleton, Donelson and Tommy Pendleton, Gallatin; two daughters, Patsy Pendleton, Clarksville, and Susan McNeil, Springfield; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Roger Russell, Donald Jackson, Stephen McNeil, Greg McNeil, Leonard Matthews and Larry Gower.

Roy Mackens
Roy Lee Mackens, 90, Clarksville, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy with the Revs. Windell Moore and Bob Creasy officiating. Burial will be in Baggetts Chapel Cemetery. McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church.
He was born Sept. 5, 1911, in Montgomery County, son of Floyd "Spud"Mackens and Birdie Martin Mackens.
Mr. Mackens was a retired farmer and a member of Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his wife, Dottie Helen Harris Mackens; a son, Ralph A. Mackens, Clarksville; two sisters, Eula Hodges, Cunningham and Earlene Ferrell, Marion; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Mackens, Joshua Mackens, Marvin Phibbs, Lowell Thomas Shock, Raymond Shock and Tommy Moore.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy Building Fund, 1586 Ashland City Road, Clarksville, TN 37040.

Ruth Goode
Ruth Norris Goode, 86, Clarksville, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home with Joseph Kurz officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 26, 1915, in Montgomery County, daughter of Robert Lee Norris and Lena Smith Norris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hymon Goode and a daughter, Kathleen Norris Goode.
Mrs. Goode was a retired manager for Clarksville Country Club and a Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include four sons, Bobby Frank Goode, Columbia, and Thomas Richard Goode, Jerry Crosbie Goode and Donald Ward Goode, all of Clarksville; four sisters, Mary Conroy, Clarksville, Salley Melton, North Carolina, Martha Urevia, California and Lena Orgain, Clarksville; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Whitley, Weldon Porter, Bobby Whitley, Ron Claus, David Dupont and Edwin Meek.

Eunice Davidson
Eunice A. Davidson, 84, Waterford, Mich., formerly of Clarksville, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, in Waterford.
Arrangements to be announced by Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home.
