Mrs. Mozella Hicks Scruggs, age 81, died Friday, March 14, 2003, at the  Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Emmer Jane Ingram - Mar 11, 2003
Mrs. Emmer Jane Ingram, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at the  Jackson Madison County General, at the age of 79.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ingram will 1:00 p.m., Saturday (March 15, 2003) at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday (March 14, 2003) at the 807 North Hays Avenue Chapel from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Bob David Ross - Mar 11, 2003
Mr. Bob David Ross, died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at the  Jackson Madison County General Hospital, at the age of 79.
Funeral services for Mr. Ross will be Saturday (March 15, 2003) at 12 NOON, at the Beech Springs Baptist Church. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday (March 14, 2003) at the Beech Springs Church from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Lucreacy Baker - May 29, 2003
Mrs. Lucreacy Baker, age 77, passed away on Thursday May 29, 2003 at the  Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Services will take place on Wednesday June 4, 2003 at 2:00 PM. Services will take place at the chapel of Stephenson-Shaw Funeral Home with the burial following at Longs Chapel Cemetery. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Tuesday between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Hurley F  Johnson - May 28, 2003
Mr. Hurley F. Johnson, age 88, passed away on Wednesday May 28, 2003 at the Hardin County General Hoapital. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Mrs. Lue Docia Donaldson - May 19, 2003
Mrs. Lue Docia Donaldson, age 95, passed away on Saturday May 17, 2003 at the Humboldt General Hospital. Services for Mrs. Donaldson will be held on Wednesday May 21, 2003 at 12 Noon. Services will take place at St. James Baptist Church with the burial following at RoseHill Cemetery. The family will recieve friends at the Gibson County Funeral Home in Humboldt, Tennessee on Tuesday between the hours of 6 PM and 8 PM.
Mrs. Donaldson leaves to cherish her memory one sister; Mrs. Ruthie Merriweather, one grandson; Mr. James Butler, and one sister-in-law; Mrs. Ella Mae Lacey.

Mr. Dock Billings, age 83, passed away on Friday May 16, 2003 at his residence. Services for Mr. Billings will take place on Saturday May 24, 2003 at 12 Noon. Services will take place at Cumberland Baptist Church with the burial following at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Tennessee. Mr. Billings will lie in state at the funeral home until time of services.

Mrs. Alma Lucille Hall, age 74, passed away on Friday May 16, 2003 at the  Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Services for Mrs. Hall will be held on Saturday May 24, 2003 at 3:00 PM. Services will take place at Cumberland Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee with the burial following in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Jackson, Tennessee. Mrs. Hall will lie in state at the funeral home until time of services.

Mr. Ennis Theus, Sr. - May 16, 2003
Mr. Ennis Theus, Sr., age 87, passed away on Friday May 16, 2003 at the  Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Services will be held Thursday May 22, 2003 at the Cane Creek Full Gospel Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Wednesday between the hours of 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Survivors for Mr. Theus include two daughters; Beverly Chism and Fairy Driver, and two sons; Ennis Theus and Napoleon Theus.
Survivors also include six grandchilren, one great grandson, one sister-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Jessie Lee Thomas,Sr., age 65, passed away on Thursday May 15, 2003 at the  Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Services will be held on Wednesday 22, 2003 at 3:00 PM. Services will take place at St. James Baptist Church with the burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Tuesday between the hours of 6:00 and 7:00 PM.

Mr. Harden Randy Hicks - May 10, 2003
Mr. Harden Randy Hicks, age 47, passed away on Saturday May 10, 2003 at  Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Services will be held on Saturday May 17, 2003 at St. Johns No. 1 Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hicks will lie in state at the funeral home all day Friday, and at the church on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of service.
Mr. Hicks is survived by his fiance' Lynn Hill of Bells, Tennessee, two sons; Terrence Hicks and Brian Hicks, both of Jackson, Tennessee, and two daughters; Candace Hicks of Jackson, Tennessee, and Crystal Hicks of Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Hicks is also survived by his five brothers; Terry Hicks of Jackson, Tennessee, Clifton Hicks and Douglas Hicks, both of Fruitvale, Tennessee, Edulis Hicks of Alamo, Tennessee, and Joesph Hicks of Gibson, Tennessee. Also, three sisters; Royella Hicks, Charlotte Hicks, and Deborah Hicks, all of Jackson, Tennessee.

Mrs. Netha Moten Ross, age 81, passed away on Saturday May 10, 2003 at the Chester County Nursing Home in Henderson, Tennessee. Services will be held on Friday May 16, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Services will take place at North Henderson Church of Christ in Henderson, Tennessee. Burial will follow at Beech Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Jacks Creek, Tennessee. The family will recieve friends at the church on Thursday between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM, and on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Mrs. Ross is survived by her sister, Mrs. Letha Moten  Taylor of Southfield, Michigan.

Ms. Ashcraft will lie in state at the church on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Mr. Louis Howard Mackey, age 48, passed away on Wednesday April 16, 2003 at  Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Services were held on Monday April 21, 2003 at 1:00 PM. Services were held at Whitehall Pectacostal Church with the burial following in the church cemetery.
Survivors for Mr. Mackey include his parents, Mrs. Mary March and J.C. March of Medon, Tennessee, and his wife, Mrs. Josephine Mackey of Jackson, Tennessee. Survivors also include a step daughter Sally Mackey and a stepson Greg Mackey both of Jackson, TN.
Also, two brothers; L.V. Mackey of Jackson, TN. and James Calvin March of Maywood, IL. Three uncles, Lonnie Mackey of Jackson, TN, Lornell Reid of Milwaukee, WI, and Arthur Lee Reid of Ocala, FL. Four aunts, Sophie Haynes and Deloris Washington of Maywood, IL. Margaret Long and Marie Mays of Jackson, TN.
