MILAN - Sara Pauline Maness, 87, former employee of Kellwood, died June 15 at Douglas Nursing Home. Services were June 17 at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield with burial in Highland Cemetery there. She leaves a son, Dale Maness of Milan, and a grandchild.

Clara McKee
CEDAR GROVE - Clara M. McKee, 84, retired merchant, died Friday at her home. Services were Sunday at Reed’s Chapel in Lexington with burial in Bargerton Church of Christ Cemetery. She was a member of Bargerton Church of Christ. Mrs. McKee, the widow of Robert L. McKee, leaves five daughters, Sandra Kay Morris, Marcia McNatt and Melda Mills, all of Lexington, Robbie Morrissett of Cedar Grove and Reba Pruitt of Wildersville; a son, Jerry McKee of Lexington; two sisters, Edna Peterson and Dorothy Perry, and a brother, Howell Pendergrass, all of Yuma, 13 grandchildren and 19 great - grandchildren.

Mr. Young, the husband of Sheila Young, also leaves two daughters, Debra Lynn Dunn of Milan and Melissa Susan Howard of Humboldt; two sons, Christopher David Young of Medina and William Steve Young of Gibson; a sister, Ann Baker of Springville, Ark. and seven grandchildren.

Mr. King, the husband of Rebecca Coleman King, also leaves two daughters, Wanda Lynn King Strickland of Senatobia, Miss. and Kimberly King Tharp of Lavinia; three sons, Randell Wayne King of Dalton, Ga., Donald Wayne King of Atwood and Johnny Clayde King of Copperas Cove, Texas; a brother, Rev. Dearled King of Milan, 10 grandchildren and three great - grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Parkinson Disease Foundation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Moody; two brothers, Clyde Runions and Tommy Runions and 3 sisters, Annie Watts, Hattie Mitchell and Mabel Hall.

Kelly of Cedar Grove and Edith Rigsby of Portalia, N.M., five grandchildren, four great - grandchildren and three great - great - grandchildren.

She was a former Parkview Hospital Pink Lady and a member of Ft. Hudson Home Demonstrations Club. Mrs. Twilla, the widow of B.E. Twilla, leaves a daughter, Sandra Sharritt of MN; two sons, Joe Twilla of CA and Ron Twilla of Milan; two brothers, John Yarbro, Sr. and Charles Henry Yarbro, both of Dyersburg, 7 grandchildren and 4 great - grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Hurricane Hill CP Church.

Bill Carey
DYER - Funeral services for Bill Carey, 63, were held on Friday, June 20, 2003 at Dyer Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Keith Harwell presiding assisted by Dr. Ray Carroll. Burial was in Bells Chapel Cemetery. Karnes & Son Funeral Home was in charge of final arrangements.
Mr. Carey, a retired superintendent of the Gibson County Special School District, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at North Crest Medical Center in Springfield, Tennessee. He was a member and deacon at Dyer Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a member of the T.E.A.
His wife, Sandra Carey; one son, Billy Mack Carey, Jr. of Humboldt; three daughters, Lindsey Carey of Dyer, Lisa  Jackson of Memphis and Christy Carey of Memphis; one brother, Reverend George Carey of Chandler, Arizona; one sister, Mary Simmons of Springfield and six grandchildren survive him.

Mrs. Jones, the widow of Irby Jones, leaves two nieces, Billie Burns Strickland and Jane Tyree and two nephews, Si Burns and Butch Burns. Memorials may be sent to Salem United Methodist Church.
