Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Brasfield of Dyersburg; five daughters, Evie Jean Gant of Hornsby, Donnie Jean Hays of Lenox, Tammy Jean Chessor and Sandra Kay Brasfield, both of Dyersburg and Teresa Ann Redden of Lewisburg; three sisters, Linda Garrett, Joan Flippens and Sharon Walker, all of Dyersburg; three brothers, David Brasfield and Wyman Brasfield, both of Dyersburg and Jimmy Brasfield of Halls; and 16 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brian Redden, Keith Hays, Edward Chessor, Gary Gant, Henry Lawson, Gary Brasfield, Timmy Brasfield and Billy Dewayne Flippens.

Ancle Lloyd Price, 74, of Hornbeak, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001 at Beverly Health and Rehab Center in Union City. He was a retired gunner's mate chief petty officer with U.S. Navy, a veteran of World War II, Korean and Vietnam War, a Baptist and had taught ROTC at the University of Illinois.
