He was physician for 50 years in the Millington area, a member of First Baptist church, a member of American Medical Association, board member of Tennessee Bank and Trust, Alpha Omega Alpha- (UT Medical Honorary Fraternity) and was member of football team doctor for Millington High School from 1952-1995. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Millington. Burial will be in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington. Munford Funeral Home-Millington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Boston officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors at 6-9 p.m. today at  Johnson Funeral Home in Newbern.

Curry & Son Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Jerri Ann North of Dyersburg; a daughter, Kylie Justice North of Dyersburg; a son, Andrew  Taylor North of Dyersburg; his parents, Jeannie North of Dyersburg and Jerry North of Philadelphia, Penn.; four sisters, Teresa Wengstrom of Dyersburg, Judy North of Yorkville, Shelia Medlin of Alamo and Amanda North of Philadelphia, Penn.; and two brothers, Jerry Wayne North and Travis North, both of Dyersburg. Pallbearers will be Rick Bolin, Pete Riggs, Randy Medlin, James Morris, Billy Criswell and Jeff Robbins.

She was a homemaker and a former carrier of the State Gazette and a member of Lenox Baptist Church. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with the Rev. Lynsol Richmond officiating.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Angie Work and Penny Work, both of Tiptonville; two sons, Marty Lamb and Jonathan Nicks, both of Dyersburg; three sisters, Ruth Bishop of Finley, Jean Burkeen of Hickman, Ky. and Carolyn Irving of Dyersburg; four brothers, Jerry Patterson of Texas, Steve Patterson of RoEllen, Charles "Cotton" Patterson of Florida and George Patterson of Dyer; and a grandson, Parker Lamb of Dyersburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bonnie Ruth Sexton Patterson; and three brothers, Acie Patterson, Benny Patterson and Harold Patterson. Pallbearers will be Larry "Speedy" Edwards, Gabrielle Davis, Justin Snow, Terry Brown, Jason Stanley and Jerry Crosno.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The widow of Samuel Curtis Lowery, survivors include two sons, Darrell Lowery of Hornbeak and Curtis Lowery of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Katherine Shanklin of Dyersburg; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

He was a retired electrician, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of First Assembly of God of Trimble. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. E.C. Davis and Dr. Thomas Darrell Parnell officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Newbern. Survivors include his wife, Ann Parnell Hallum of Newbern; a son, Terry Lee Hallum of Newbern; a half brother, Leroy Parnell of Union City; two grandchildren; Heather Nunnery Pyles and Tyler Lee Hallum; and a great-grandchild, Auston Pyles. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Hallum Harrison; and his parents, Hubert and Belinda Long Hallum. Pallbearers will be Terry Chase, Larry Moody, Richard Hallum, William Edward Parnell, Stephen Craig and Stephen Ozment.

Curry & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Jane Fowler of Lenox; and two brothers, Timmy Fowler and Kenny Fowler, both of Lenox. Pallbearers will be Michael O'Guin, Steve Argo, Steven Argo, Raymond Gray, Timmy Stegall and Al McKee.

Survivors include his wife, Rosetta Reed Butler of Obion; three daughters, Nancy Reed of Hornbeak, Marilyn Harrell of Troy and Rita Moody of Shelbyville; two sons, Mark Butler and Dwayne Butler, both of Obion; three sisters, Lucille  Jones of Union City, Margie Garrison of Newbern and Anita Clanton of Trimble; two brothers, Edd Butler of Rives and Gene Butler of Obion; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The widow of Robert Lindsey Vaughn and Bill Adams, survivors include two daughters, Debra Adams Dyer of Charlotte, N.C. and Theresa Adams Moses of Memphis; two sons, John Stephen Adams of Middleburg, Fla. and David Sevier Adams of Thomasville, Ga.; two stepsons, Robert Lindsey Vaughn Jr. of Indialantic, Fla. and William Sanders Vaughn of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Shirley Sugg O'Neill of Heber, Utah; a brother, Edgar Harbert Sugg Jr. of Hernando, Miss.; and nine grandchildren.
