Jewel Gibson
ANDREWS — Services for Jewel McKinney Gibson, 92, of Andrews will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Andrews Church of Christ with Mark Wilson and John Snider officiating.
Burial will be in Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
She died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001.
She was born July 30, 1909, in Mishobe, Okla. She married Carl Gibson on Nov. 26, 1933, in Big Spring. They moved to Andrews in 1935. She was a homemaker and a member of the Andrews Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992, her daughter, Joyce Nelson, in 1996, her granddaughter, Jacqueline Yarbrough, in 1982 and her great-grandson, Benjamin Carl Nelson, in 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Laverne Butler of Andrews; three sisters, Ivy Wilson, Vera Harris and Lillie Harris, all of Andrews; two brothers, Chuck McKinney and Warner McKinney, both of Andrews; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lubbock Children's Home or Hospice House of Odessa.
Boston Timmons
ANDREWS -- Boston Timmons, 50, of Odessa, a retired employee of Valve Maintenance Corp., died Monday, July 13, 1998, at Sid Patterson Memorial Hospital in Kerrville.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Andrews Old Cemetery with the Rev. Ivy Shelton officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Andrews.

Charlie Tidwell
ANDREWS (Special) - Services for Charlie Tidwell, 65, of Andrews will be at 2 p.m. Friday in McNett Funeral Home Chapel with cremation under direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Tidwell died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1998, in University Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Earth. He married Carole James on Oct. 20, 1953, in Abilene. He moved to Andrews in 1975.
He and his wife owned Tidwell Construction until 1991. He owned Mustang Video in Andrews.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, David, Clay and James, all of Andrews; four daughters, Wanda Tidwell of Odessa, Marcia Tidwell of Andrews, Lara Hibbard of Houston and Vicky Tidwell of Andrews; two brothers, Fred of Bakersfield, Calif., and Alfred of Big Spring; three sisters, Sylvia Mitchell of Midland, Jean Rosso of Minneapolis, Minn., and Pat Barbra of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren.
Geneva Gross
ANDREWS — Geneva Gross, 67, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Monday, July 20, 1998, at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Andrews Old Cemetery with Leslie Gross Jr. officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born June 26, 1931, in Edna. She married Wesley Gross on March 8, 1947, in Seagraves. They moved to Andrews from Seagraves in 1955. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
A son, Wesley Albert, preceded her in death.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Wesley Gross of Andrews; daughters, Marquita Johnson of San Angelo, Linda Talarsky of Chico, Debbie Dockery of Hobbs, N.M.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Bertha Price
ANDREWS (Special) - Services for Bertha "Birdie" Price, 86, of Andrews will be 10 a.m. Monday in the Andrews Church of Christ with Les McGalliard of Andrews Church of Christ and John Snider of Greenwood Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Littlefield Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999.
She was born Oct. 5, 1913, in Comanche. She married E.E. Savage. He died in 1969. She married H.D. Price on Aug. 21, 1981.
She worked in the Littlefield schools cafeteria and was a member of the Andrews Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Joann Curry of Pettus, June Little of Pampa and Pernice Durrett of Jasper; two stepsons, Curtis of Andrews and Lee of Bastrop; two stepdaughters, Nelda French of Whiteface and Cherry Potter of El Paso; brothers, Hiley Nicholson of Ontario, Ore., and Don Nicholson of Gallup, N.M.; sisters, Florence Morgan and Zola Faye Stewart, both of Seagoville; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Frances Puckett
ANDREWS - Frances Ann Puckett, 47, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Andrews North Cemetery with the Rev. John McQueen officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Seminole and moved to Odessa in 1990 from Andrews. She was Baptist.

Charlie Alcorn
ANDREWS - Services for Charlie Alcorn, 75, of Andrews will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Andrews with the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating.
Burial will be in the Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1925, in Mt. Vernon. He married Gwen Boyles on June 28, 1940, in Sweetwater. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II from 1944 to 1946.
He and his wife moved to Andrews from Sweetwater in 1948. He worked for E.L. Heard and Sinclair Prairie Oil Company in Andrews. He worked for Johnny Smith Motor Co. in Andrews and he served on the City Council in 1959. He was the chairman of the City Charter, First Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, and a member of the Andrew Chamber of Commerce, the Andrews Downtown Lions Club and the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandra Pearcy of Gunnison, Colo., and Dorenda Ayers of Cranbury, N.J.; two sisters, Effie Mae McCullough of Brandon, Fla., and Reva Earle of Garland; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
Benton Moxley
ANDREWS - Services for Benton Moxley, 85, of Andrews will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Andrews Church of Christ with John Snider officiating.
Burial will be in the Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
He died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in Jefferson Regional Hospital in Pine Bluff, Ark. He was born Feb. 25, 1915, in Hunt County. He married Sally Marie "Bobbie" Fort on March 6, 1941, in Andrews. She died Nov. 10, 1997.
He was a pumper for Arco for 30 years and retired in 1974. He was a member of the Andrews Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Ray Moxley of Monticello, Ark., and David Moxley of Luling; two daughters, Martha Burleson of Atlanta, Ga., and Gail Herzog of Racine, Wis.; two brothers, J.W. "Jay" Moxley and Boyd Moxley, both of Andrews; a sister, Arlene Lonis of Carson, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Maxine Heart
ANDREWS - Maxine Heart, 71, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Andrews West Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Terry officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Wichita, Kan., and moved to Andrews in 1950 from Sapulpa, Okla. She was a Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Curtis Hart of Round Rock; daughter, Shirley Ann Wood of Richardson; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Jim Peoples
Jim Peoples Sr., 74, of McCamey, a retired pusher for T&K Oilfield Co., died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Crane County Cemetery with the Rev. Lyndel Lee officiating. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Del Rio and had been a longtime resident of Crane before moving to McCamey. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
