Sherri Lynn Mansito
1969-2014
Sherri Lynn Mansito, 45, of Lakehills, was taken to heaven the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 10, at her home. She was born May 28, 1969, to Michael and Bonnie Irwin in St. Louis, Missouri.
She married
Scott Mansito on Feb. 13, 2011 in Lakehills.
The couple enjoyed the simple things in life, having their morning coffee together on the front porch each morning while talking and listening to the birds wake up. They cherished cooking and making meals together before sitting down to a good comedy or love story. Sherri and Scott also welcomed each sunset over the lake as they sat on the porch, fed the deer and watched their dogs run them away.
They also loved their adventures to any casino with slot machines and a poker table and trips to Colorado in the winter and the lake in summer.
Sherri grew up and attended school in California. After moving to Texas, she entered the workforce as marketing manager for Q-Pharmacy where she worked for 14 years.
A beautiful person inside and out, Sherri kept her positive outlook on life until the Lord took our Angel to Heaven. Her very special relationship with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ gave her the strength to get through the good times and bad times. Sherri loved to share these times with her spiritual rock, her Grandmom Jaunita.
She lived life to her fullest, cherishing each and every moment.
Other of her most treasured joys were her morning conversations with her daughter, Heather - aka "Baby Bird" - and being able to tell her goodnight every night. As the family rock, Sherri gathered her family and friends together whether for a cup of coffee or barbecues for Sunday dinners.
She has had a huge impact and special place for everyone that ever came into her life. She truly loved life and those who passed through hers loved her for it.
Sherri is survived by her husband, Scott Mansito; children, Heather Rather, Jennifer and Joshua Mansito; brother Gary Irwin and his wife, Ellen; niece and nephew, Michael and Kira Irwin; parents Michael and Bonnie Irwin; and grandmom Jaunita Irwin.
Sherri's "Celebration of Life" will be held at the Leibold RV Resort in Lakehills, where, accompanied by friends and family, Sherri and Scott were married
.
The Mansito and Irwin families extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Jaafar, Dr. Drengler, River City Hospice, Tina Leggett, Stacy and Chris O'Neal, Sherry Hearn and Nancy MacMillan for being there for Our Angel during her most needed times.
