John William Dalton, 68, of Bandera, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 10, in Kerrville.
He was born in Norfolk, VA., to Annie Lee Crank on March 19, 1948.
He married
Patricia Ann Herrington on March 19, 2005.
John is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Dalton; mother, Annie Jenson; aunt, Virginia Beasley; daughter, Amy Howell; step son, Don Stover; sisters, Faith Jenson and Teresa Brewer; brother, Clayton Jenson; 3, grandchildren; 2, great grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews and cousins.
In accordance with Mr. Dalton's wishes, there will be no service.
Nathaniel Jaxon Bettinger
2016 - 2016
Nathaniel Jaxon Bettinger, 11 months, of Bandera, passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, in Bandera.
He was born in San Antonio, to Tiffany Bettinger and her fiance, Daniel Shirey on January 22, 2016.
Nathaniel is survived by his mother, Tiffany Bettinger; father, Daniel Shirey.
A Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 12 pm, at Walker Memorial Baptist Chapel.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 1 pm, at Walker Memorial Baptist Chapel, officiated by Pastor Walter O'Dell.

Allan Mark Strand
1943 - 2016
Allan Mark Strand, 73, of Bandera, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, in San Antonio.
Strand was born in Bowbells, North Dakota, to Mark Allan and Inez Strand on May 25, 1943.
He married
Alphee Liliane Pesch on April 23, 1966 in Butzbach, Germany.
He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology.
He retired from the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service after 23 years as a field supervisor. Allan served his country honorably in the Army for over eight years during the Vietnam conflict and was awarded two purple hearts, one bronze star and one silver star.
Allan is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alphee Strand; daughter, Alisha Strand-Mueller and her husband, Mark; son, Erik Strand; sister, Debra Higgins and her family; grandchild, Cadence Mueller.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at 10:30 am at Grace Lutheran Church .
Private interment to follow.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of the cardiac unit of the Methodist Hospital.

Roger Dale Schaefer
1948 - 2016
Roger Dale Schaefer, 68, of Bandera, found peace on Tuseday, Dec. 20, 2016 in Boerne, after battling a rare illness. He was born in San Antonio, on March 18, 1948, son of the late Robert and Mavis Schaefer.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Fay Schaefer, his daughter, Jennifer Schaefer and his grandson Jaden Young. He is also survived by his five siblings, Robert Schaefer, Georgia Schaefer-Yancy, Joanne Schaefer, Rodney Schaefer and Sherri Schaefer-Mangum as well as their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In his early years Roger served in the US Navy and was employed as a union carpenter. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and had a passion for animals. Roger always enjoyed an adventure and was never afraid of hard work. Roger had many challenges throughout his life and overcame every difficulty thrown in his direction. He was a loving husband, father and papa to his family.

Janet J. Wick
1937 - 2016
Janet Wick, 79, of Bandera, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 in Kerrville.
She was born in Yoakum, to Roberta and George Shimek on February 2, 1937.
She married
Dennis Wick on November 21, 1955 in Yoakum.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; brother, George; son, David Paul; grandson Joseph Hunter Thomas.
Janet is survived by her daughters Susan D'Spain and husband Ray; Deborah Wick; son Dennis Wick, Jr.; sister, Cheri Hart and husband, Donnie; brother, Robert Shimek and fiance, Cindy; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and another great grandchild on the way.
A visitation was held Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1 pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera, followed by a funeral service at 2 pm.
Pallbearers were Dennis Wick, III, David Samuel Wick, Robert Shimek, Keith Shimek, Chris Hart and John Paul Hybner.
Memorials may be given to Bandera Health and Rehabilitation Center of Bandera or a charity of your choice.

Russell "Russ" "Rusty" Wright Bellamy
1951 – 2016
Russell "Russ", "Rusty" Wright Bellamy, age 65, passed away in Lakehills, on Wednesday, Dec. 14, with his family by his side.
He was born August 15, 1951 in San Antonio, to William Butler & Carolyn Wright Bellamy.
Russ worked most of his career as an entrepreneur owning and managing many various businesses with his premier business The Bike Barn/Broadway Bicycle Show operating in San Antonio for over 20 years. His creative ability to dream big and bring his dreams to reality was the cornerstone of his success.
Russell's greatest joy was his family. He was survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Karla Yvonne (McWilliams) Bellamy; his sons Jason Bellamy of San Antonio; Jeremy Bellamy & his wife Jackie of Cibolo; and Benjamin Bellamy of San Antonio; his grandchildren Tyler and Kaydence Bellamy; his mother Carolyn Bellamy; his brother Will Bellamy; his sister Linda Marquis and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was proceeded in death by his father William Butler Bellamy.
His family is holding a Celebration of Life in remembrance of Russell on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 2– 4 pm at the Northwest Church of Christ in San Antonio; all family & friends are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in Russell name.
