Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died October 23, 2010 at Fort Hood from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Corporal Jason Anthony Savage, 24, of Mineral Wells, Texas, joined the military in June 2008 as an infantryman and was assigned to Company B, 2nd
Battalion, 5th Armored Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, since October 2008. Savage deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from February 2009 to January 2010.
Savage’s awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal with combat service star, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and Combat Infantry Badge.
Bert Constant
Graveside services and burial for Bert Constant, 63, of Pflugerville, Texas will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, Il at a later date.
Bert died October 12, 2010 at a local hospital.

Madison was born and passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 in a Temple hospital.

Lonnie Edward Brooks passed away October 7, 2010 at his home in Salado, with his wife and children by his side.
Brooks was born Aug. 28, 1943, in Salado, the son of Lonnie P. and Opal (Jackson) Brooks.
Sergeant Michael Timothy Franklin
Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier and his wife who died of apparent gunshot wounds Sept. 26, 2010 in their on-post residence here.
Sergeant Michael Timothy Franklin and Jessie Ann Franklin had two children: one daughter, 6, and one son, 2. The children are currently being cared for by Fort Hood’s child protective services.
Michael Franklin, 31, of Middletown, R.I., joined the Army in August 2005 as a motor transport operator. He was assigned to Fort Hood in October 2005 and was currently assigned to 115th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from October 2006 to January 2008 and February 2009 to January 2010.
His awards and decorations include Army Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with campaign star, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver - Wheeled Vehicles.

Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who was found deceased Sept. 25, 2010 in his residence on post.
Master Sgt. Baldemar Gonzales, 39, of Victoria, Texas, joined the military in November 1990 and served as an air defense system crewman and later as an artilleryman and was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Warrior Transition Brigade, Carl R. Darnall Medical Center, Fort Hood, in September 2010.
Gonzales deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm from December 1990 to June 1991 and Operation Iraqi Freedom from April 2003 to March 2004.
Gonzales’ awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Army Commendation Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Army Good Conduct Medal with five oak leaf clusters, National Defense

Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died Sept. 25, 2010 from an apparent gunshot wound in Copperas Cove, Texas.
Sergeant Timothy Ryan Rinella, 29, of Chester, Va., joined the military in April 2000 as a light-wheel vehicle mechanic and was assigned to Fort Hood in May 2008. He was assigned to the 509th Forward Support Company, 504th Special Troops Battalion, III Corps, here.
Rinella deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from February 2003 to August 2003, June 2004 to June 2005 and August 2008 to August 2009. He also deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from January 2007 to January 2008.
Rinella awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal with

Kendall M. Anderson, 78, of Bloomington, MN, passed away suddenly of a suspected aortic aneurism on September 24, 2010.
Anderson was born Dec. 6, 1931, to Donald and Blanche Anderson of Brooklyn Park, MN.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Specialist Donald Scott Morrison died Sept. 26, 2010 at Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his military vehicle with an improvised explosive device on Sept. 25 at Forward Operating Base Frontenac, Afghanistan.
Morrison, 23, of Cincinnati, Ohio, joined the Army in October 2008 as a combat engineer. He was assigned to 584th Mobility Augmentation Company, 20th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade, Fort Hood, since February 2009.
Morrison deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom in December 2009.
Morrison’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with campaign star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal and Combat Action Badge.

Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died Sept. 18, 2010 of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked her unit using an improvised explosive device and rocket propelled grenade fire in Kunar Province, Afghanistan.
Pfc. Barbara Vieyra, 22, of Mesa, Ariz., joined the military in April 2008 as a member of the military police, was assigned to the 64th Military Police Company, 720th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas, since October 2009.
Vieyra deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in April 2010.
