Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died July 4, 2010 in Killeen, Texas.
Private Charles Paul King, 23, of Clintwood, Va., joined the military in November 2005 as a cavalry scout and was assigned to Troop B, 6th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, in March 2008.
King deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from May 2007 to December 2007 and December 2008 to June 2009.
King’s awards and decorations include the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and Army Service Ribbon.
Circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation.

Anita Lillian Lowrey Holt, 89, formerly of Temple and Salado, died peacefully January 19, 2010, at the home of her son in Grass Valley, California. Her friends are invited to come to a celebration of her life 4 p.m. July 10, at the home of Sara Mackie in Salado. Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died June 17, 2010 at Fort Hood.
Sergeant Benjamin Daniel Chadwick, 28, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, joined the military in February 2005 as a fire support specialist. He was assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, III Corps, Fort Hood, since January 2010.
Chadwick’s decorations and awards include the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and the Army Service Ribbon.
Jose Angel Guajardo
Jose Angel Guajardo, 55 of Temple passed away on June 20, 2010 at his residence after a long battle with cancer.
Guajardo was born to Angel Guajardo Jr., and Dolores Vargas Guajardo on October 1, 1954 in Temple, Texas.

Specialist Nickolaus Gregory Gossack, 23, of Silverton, OR, joined the military in February 2008 as a infantryman and was assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 12th Armored Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, since August 2008.
Gossack deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from December 2008 to December 2009.

Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died June 15, 2010.
Specialist Joe Trinity Blevins, 29, of Marion, Va., was found unresponsive in his barracks’ room and transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Blevins joined the military in June 2006 as a combat engineer. He was assigned to 43rd Combat Engineer Company, 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, since December 2007.
Blevins deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from October 2007 to January 2009.
Blevins decorations and awards include the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and Army Service Ribbon.

Rosedale Lee Vanderbur died Sunday, June 6, 2010 in a Temple Hospital. She was born December 21, 1944 in Lamar, Colorado to Samuel James Garner and Joyce Yvone Boles.

Goodman died June 13, 2010 at his home. He was born May 14, 1925 in Dallas to Samuel Lee and Katie Cook Goodman.

Rose deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from July 2008 to July 2009.
Rose’s decorations and awards include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal,
Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, NATO Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and Army Service Ribbon.

The cause of death has not been determined pending an autopsy.
Spc. Bernette Lamar Mathis, 26, of Dallas, Texas, joined the military in April 2007 as a unit supply specialist and was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade

Pvt. Anthony James Moses, 19, of Stockton, Mo., joined the military in June 2009 as a combat engineer and was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team,
1st Cavalry Division, since October 2009.
Moses’s awards and decorations include the Army Service Ribbon.
