Jesse Eugene Casper, 40, of Clute, passed away Sunday, September 12, 1999, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the Ryan Cemetery near Cleveland, Texas.
Jesse was born August 29, 1959 in Houston, to Lamar and Gladys Simmons Casper. He had been a resident of Clute, for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lamar Casper in 1960.
Survivors include his mother, Gladys Casper of Clute; uncles and aunts, Clayton Simmons of Clute, Winfred and Cathrine Simmons and Lloyd and Dorothy Simmons, all of Cleveland; cousins, Mary Miller, Charlotte Shelton, Elaine Bowling, C. W. Simmons, Joyce Hobbs, Linda Payne, Clayton Simmons, Jr., Charles Wayne Simmons, Lamar Lanham and Debbie Nerren.

Rose Reynolds, of Columbus, Indiana, and formerly of this area, passed away Sunday, September 12, 1999, at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of United Church of God in Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 1999, at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street, with Darris McNeeley officiating.
Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery
Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to service time.
Born in Nottingham, England, June 17, 1938, Mrs. Reynolds was the daughter of Mary Hemmings Wilson of Nottingham, and the late Horace Wilson. She married Sam Reynolds June 23, 1962.
Survivors include her husband, Sam Reynolds; son, Scott C. Reynolds of North Carolina; daughters, Laura Reynolds and Kimberley Anderson, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley Anderson and Jessica and Amber Reynolds; brothers, Roy and John Wilson, both of Nottingham; and sisters, Irene Smith and Mary Wilson, both of Nottingham and Rita Wilson of Dublin, Ireland.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

James "Jim" Russell Gundy

He passed away Wednesday, September 29, 1999, in Fort Worth.

Jim was born June 7, 1962 in Bay City, and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. He attended the University of Texas, was an Eagle Scout and worked for Texas New Mexico Power Company. Jim had a strong commitment to his family and was greatly loved by them.
Survivors include his parents, Louis and Dolores Gundy of West Columbia; daughters, Jennifer and Brittney Ochoa; brothers and sister-in-law, Phil and Beth Gundy of Houston and Louis Gundy, III and Martina Carerra of Houston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathryn Henkel of Dallas, Kelly and Dave Herberger of Houston, and Barbara and Rick Sloan of Belmont, North Carolina; special friends, Alex and Mollie Seabourne of West Columbia; and nieces and nephews, Jean and Austin Herberger, Stephanie and Carolyn Henkel, Lillian and Travis Sloan and Griffin Gundy.

Memorial services for Mary Ann Jensen, 55, of Lake Jackson, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 1999, at the First Christian Church in Lake Jackson, with Reverend John Canyus officiating.
She passed away in an automobile accident at the intersection of This Way and FM 2004 Tuesday, September 28, 1999.
Mary Ann Jensen was born and raised in Bilaspur, India, the daughter of missionaries. In her travels as a teacher, Mary Ann spent time in Bangkok, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Hawaii, and Kuwait. She made her home here in Lake Jackson, for 21 years. She was employed by BISD in the early 1980's and has worked for the Brazoria County Retrieve Prison Unit since 1989, where she continued to serve as a teacher.
Mary Ann has been an active member of the First Christian Church in Lake Jackson, and was on the Education and Outreach Committee for many years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Ratzlaff; daughter, Sharon Ruth Jensen; and brother, Harold Eugene Ratzlaff.
Survivors include her father, Harold Ratzlaff of Kansas; her husband, Gary Jensen of Lake Jackson; son Fredrick, Jensen of Oakland, California; daughter, Laura Jensen of Huntsville; and many other relatives and friends.

Fredrick Jensen is attending the University of California at Berkeley and Laura Jensen is attending the State University of Sam Houston in Huntsville.

Kimberly touched so many of our lives with her joy and happiness. We will all miss her terribly but she has gone to be with Jesus in Heaven where she is doing all those things she couldn't do in her short life here. We thank God for allowing our angel to be among us and allow us a glimpse of heaven. She has become our guardian angel.

Roy Winston Lovelace was born June 10, 1948 in San Angelo to John Lowell and Flora Lena Eaton Lovelace. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, a member of Clowns International of America and was a Dow Chemical employee.
Survivors include his wife, Carole Lovelace of Angleton; daughters, Holly Lee Lovelace Odom and husband, Shawn Phillip Odom of Nacogdoches and Karen Lynn Lovelace of San Marcos; brother, John Lowell Lovelace, Jr. and wife, Bennie of Houston; mother-in-law, Penny Cashion of Pasadena; brother-in-law, John C. William E. (Billy) Patterson, III
Funeral services for Billy Patterson, 57, of Angleton, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 1999, at Palms Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Pate officiating.

Mr. Patterson passed away Tuesday, September 28, 1999.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Billy was born October 14, 1941 in Galveston, to William and Bessie Pacheck Patterson, Jr. He was a 1960 graduate of Danbury High School, was an active member of Northway Baptist Church and was past president of "Council on Substance Abuse" board, where he had served for six years.
He had been a member of Fightin' Aggie Band, had coached and served on the Danbury Little League Board and PTO, and he had also been the announcer for Danbury home football games. Billy was a member of Brazoria County Fair Association, where he volunteered for Senior Citizen Day and Little Mr. and Mrs. Fair Contest, served on the Bar-b-que Cookoff Committee and the Communications Committee. He was a member of Angleton Masonic Lodge #829 AF&AM.
He and his wife, Kay, were owners and operators of "Especially For You" in Angleton. His work career included Brazoria County Sheriff's Department, U. S. Contractors and retirement from Dow Chemical. He was presently working for Performance Contractors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willy Patterson in 1978; and father-in-law, Denmon Griggs in 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Patterson; mother, Bessie Patterson Orsak; children, Cheryl Fowler and her husband, Robert (Bubba), James (Bo) Patterson and Billy Ed Patterson and his wife, Shari; sister, Mary Ruth Patterson; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Griggs; grandchildren, Amber Sprague, Ashley and Eric Fowler and Sara Patterson; and aunts, Toddy Clements, Opal Turner and Janett Burris.
