ERIC PAUL CARLSON
Eric Paul Carlson, 45, of Lake Jackson, died Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at home, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 25, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood L. Carlson.
Surviving him are his mother, Sarah Carlson of Lake Jackson; one sister, Karen Clark of Demi John; uncle and aunt, Ray and Doris Carlson of Bella Vista, Arkansas, cousins, David Carlson, Bonnie and Bill Mattaliano, Nancy and Bob Fox, David and Pam Hillstrom, Casey, Heather and Kye Hillstrom.
He leaves his extended family members, Virginia and Claude McElvain, Melissa and Lon Feldman, Martha and Tom Leavitt and Jean Hulsopple.
Our thanks to the doctors and staff at the Cancer Center, the Hospice Care Team and a special thank you to Dr. Suzan Carpenter and staff for always going the extra mile.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2001 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2001 at Restwood Cemetery with Greg Pickering of Brazos Pointe Fellowship officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Culp, Alvin Cole, Tom Leavitt, Al Beale and Claude McElvain.
Eric was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and nature.
His bright smile, sense of humor, generosity and warmth will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services for Georgia G. Clayton, 81, of West Columbia are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2001 at First Baptist Church in West Columbia with Rev. Dave Barclay officiating.

She was born Friday, March 5, 1920 in San Jacinto County, Texas and died Tuesday, October 16, 2001 in Sweeny, Texas.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Clayton, Sr.
Survivors include her daughters, Paulette Cosby of Richwood and Molly Krolczyk of League City; sons & daughters-in-law, Bill & Vicky Clayton San Antonio, Charlie Clayton of Houston, Paul H. Jr. & Paulette Clayton of Austin and George & Barbara Clayton of Sweeny; sister, Jewell Smith of Bryan; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

FRANK CHARLES STANKOVICH
Frank Charles Stankovich, 92, of Clute, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2001.
Frank moved to Freeport in 1959. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, a former member of Willow Drive Baptist Church, and served as a Deacon of Velasco Baptist Church. Frank served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Golda Stankovich of Clute; two children, Michael Stankovich & wife Donna of Lake Jackson and Lauren Sue Seamans and husband Jim of The Woodlands; three grandchildren, Krista Roznovsky, Sheridan Stankovich and Lance Giessinger; one brother, George Stankovich of Houston; three sisters, Mary Kulhanek of Waller, Annie Kee of Amarillo and Agnes Marchette of New Caney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Agnes Stankovich; and three brothers, Joe, John and Pete.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2001 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2001 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Hintze officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of his Temple Baptist Sunday School Class.

She died Saturday, October 13, 2001 in Overland Park, Arkansas, at the age of 58.

Her husband, Clayton Robinson, precedes her in death.
Survivors include her mother, Mary McLain; son, Bryan Robinson of Overland Park, Kansas; daughters, Paige Robinson Huckabay of Overland Park, Kansas and Amy Robinson of Angleton; and grandchildren, Jessica Huckabay and Davy Ann Bridges.
