Funeral Services for Raul M. Quinonez, 79, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2002 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Victoria, Texas.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. with a rosary being held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria, Texas.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with full military honors.
Raul was born December 20, 1922 in Mission Valley, Texas, and passed away, January 20, 2002 in Victoria, Texas.
Raul retired from Atzenhoffer Chevrolet after 32 years as a Technician. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, 1942 to 1946 and served in European Theatre.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Garza Quinonez of Victoria; daughter, Belinda Castillo of Lake Jackson; sons, Robert Allen Quinonez; John David Quinonez; James Dale Quinonez all of Victoria; sisters, Dora Q. Mendoza and Lilly Q. Zamora both of Victoria.

She was a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and resident of Port Arthur, Texas, since 1922. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Port Neches and the Red Hussar Drum & Bugle Corp.

Berry was born July 4, 1966 in Buena Park, California, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sweeny.

Penix was born in Santa Rosa, Texas on Friday, May 15, 1925 and was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Minnie Penix; wife, Vernida “Pete” Penix; and grandchildren, Sara and Tara Lackey.

Wilma Lee Risner, 77, of Lake Jackson, TexasX, passed away Friday, January 18, 2002 at Cypress Woods Care Center.

Wilma was an area resident for 55+ years, and a faithful and devoted Christian of First Assembly of God Church in Lake Jackson, Texas.
She is survived by her children: Jimmy A. Risner Sr., Patsy Ruth Risner and Joe Wayne Risner; by grandchildren: Jimmy A. Risner Jr., Tammy G. Doughty, Barrett W. Risner, Chad E. Risner and Darren K. Risner; and by one niece and two nephews.

MIRIAM GREENVILLE TODD
Services for Miriam Greenville Todd, 77, of Lufkin, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Young officiating. Interment will follow in the Simpson Cemetery.
Mrs. Todd was born August 23, 1924, in the Redtown Community, Angelina County, Texas, the daughter of Emma (Redd) and Timothy Durham, and she died Saturday, January 19, 2002, at her residence.
Mrs. Todd was homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was lovingly known by her husband as “Tiger.” She lived in Clute from 1951 to 1985 and had resided in Lufkin since then.
She was a former member of the Rebecca Lodge. She was a former Avon saleslady and won many awards for sales achievement. Mrs. Todd was a former cafe owner in Clute, and was the best “biscuit and chocolate pie” maker. She loved gardening and her dog, “Tiny.” Mrs. Todd was non-denominational.
Survivors include her husband, O.C. Todd of Lufkin; sons, Alvin Greenville, Jr. of Lake Jackson and Jerry E. Greenville of Pollok; daughter, Linda Rupert of Spring; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Hill of Pollok and Zelta Wilkerson of Lufkin; brothers, Phillip Durham of Center, Tim Durham of Hudson and John Durham of Pollok; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her first husband Alvin Greenville, Sr., and her son, Dwayne “Bo” Greenville.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Moody, Wiley Todd, Ray Saxton, Chad Greenville, Lewis Hatchell and Larry LaCaze.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Greenville, Dwayne Greenville and Michael Greenville.

WAYNE ANDREW McWILLIAMS
Wayne Andrew McWilliams, 74, passed away, Thursday, January 17, 2002, at Angleton-Danbury Hospital in Angleton, Texas.
He was born November 26, 1927 in Tipton, Oklahoma.
Wayne earned a chemical engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma, and began working for Dow Chemical Company in Freeport, Texas. Wayne spent his career of 44 years with Dow in various locations and countries including Europe and Canada. Wayne also served proudly in the United States Army and was a Korean Conflict Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Marga Weterings McWilliams; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Keith & Victoria McWilliams of Houston and Andrew Allison Jeanette McWilliams of League City; daughter and son-in-law, Nona Elizabeth & Mark Taylor of Houston; daughter, Captain Monique Gemma McWilliams of Little Rock, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Heath McWilliams, Hillary McWilliams Correll & husband Wayne, Andy McWilliams, Jill McWilliams, Tiffani Juarez, Melissa Norton, Allison Taylor, Wayne Taylor and Jennifer Taylor; four great-grandchildren, Jasmine Norton, Drew Correll, Haley Correll and Gavin McWilliams; brothers-in-law & wives, Ad Weterings & wife Getty of the Netherlands and Willem Jan and Marie Therese Weterings of the Netherlands; and sister-in-law, Ineke Bruyns of the Netherlands.
