Cecelia Laura Viehland
Cecelia Laura Viehland, 82, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2002, after a long illness.
She was born to Mathias Hoven and Cecelia McCormick, November 13, 1919 in St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Viehland, in 1985.
She is survived by three sons, Lenny of California, David of the Philippines and John of St. Louis; two sisters; two brothers; and two sisters-in-law, all of St. Louis. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, of whom five are all from the Brazosport area, Joe Viehland, Justin Viehland, Stephanie Rawlings, Tina West and Stacey Moore. Also are four great-grandchildren, Austin and Zachary of San Antonio and Oren and Jasmine of Abilene.
Cecelia chose to donate her body to science. There will be a Memorial Service at a later date in St. Louis.

Homegoing services for Ruby Jean (Tolbert) White, 67, of Angleton, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2002, at New Bethel Baptist Church, 304 West Live Oak, Angleton, Texas, with Rev. Steven King officiating.
Burial will be in Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
She took eternal flight on Monday, July 22, 2002, at Angleton Danbury Medical Center in Angleton, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2002, at New Bethel Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn, a devoted husband, Isreal L. White, Sr.; and six children, Sheila White, Isreal White, Jr. (Barbara), Tina White, Demetral White, Tonya White of Angleton and Tisha White of West Columbia; siblings Paul Tolbert (Valerie), Ervan Tolbert (Brenda), Clifford Tolbert (Carolyn), Russell Tolbert (Lynn), Helen Jackson (Alex), Patricia Knowles (Lloyd), Venita Scott (John), Glen Tolbert (Vickie); and a sister-in-law, Annie Tolbert.

Dustin Christopher West, 31, of Houston, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2002.
Throughout his courageous battle with cancer, Dustin walked without fear due to his strong faith in the Lord.
Dustin is survived by his wife, Ede; daughters, Miriam and Raimie; parents, Leon & Karen West of Brazoria; brother, Blake West & wife Michelle; grandmother, Joyce Burke of Brazoria; his best friend, Ricky Phelps; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Dustin's wife and children were the love his life.

He died Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at his residence in Angleton.
He is survived by his mother, Clara Gee of Angleton; two daughters, Tina Gee of Richwood, Vanessa Miller (Marc) of Ft. Polk, Louisiana; two brothers, Rayfield Gee (Virginia) and Tommy Lewis Gee (Debra), all of Houston; three sisters; Patricia Felder of Missouri City, Kathleen Bass (Samuel), Diane Phillips, both of Angleton; one grandchild, Kaylen Rayana Gee; a close friend, Nanette Freelon; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

John Frank "Jack" Neuder
John Frank "Jack" Neuder, 91, passed on July 25, 2002 while in the loving care of his wife, Mearina Neuder, of Lake Jackson.
Jack and Mearina married in 1968, bringing together two loving families. Jack had two lovely daughters, Jackie Fadeley and Bev Gatlin. Joe Bowman of Lake Jackson, became the son, Jack had always wanted. The combined families continued to grow and produced 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Local family members are Joe and Karen Bowman of Lake Jackson, and their children and spouses: Joe and Jamae Bowman of Lake Jackson, Cyndy Bowman Odenwald and Mitch Odenwald of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Rick Bowman of Austin, Texas and Jennifer Bowman Machajewski and Jim Machajewski of The Colony, Texas. Great-grandchildren are Jo-Beth Bowman, Jourdan Bowman, Joseph Odenwald, Alyssa Machajewski, Josh Odenwald and Ayden Machajewski.
He is also survived by grandchildren, Lee Fadeley of Schererville, Indiana; Kim Lang of Valrico, Florida; Tracey Harlacher of Tampa, Florida; Debbie Scott of Westerville, Ohio; Barbara Matcheck of Groveport, Ohio; and David Rife of St. Louisville, Ohio.
Jack was a kind and quiet man who led a long and interesting life. He was a tool and die maker retired from Packard Electric of Warren, Ohio.
His real loves were cars and baseball, volunteering as an usher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, and spending time with a pit crew at the Indianapolis 500. His hobbies were shuffleboard and woodworking.
Many wonderful people cared for Jack in the last years of his life, and the family wishes to thank these people in particular; Paige from Plantation Health Care, Penny Ferguson from Help, Inc., and the many other caring nurses and aides that made him smile.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lakewood Chapel and funeral services are at First United Methodist Church of Lake Jackson, on Saturday, July 27, 2002 at 1:00 p.m.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sherman & Darlene Jones of Sweeny; daughters and son-in-law, Barbara McElroy of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Sharon & Melvin “Doc” Langley of Brazoria; sisters and brother-in-law, Doris Moutray and Ramona & Jim Reynolds of Texas City; grandchildren, Kelly Strenge, Shari Kay Lenamon, Joni Boykin, Rhonda Woodrome, Janette Buster, Ann Jones, Richard Jones and Barbara Jones; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard D. & Ailce Maude Morris; husband, Sherman Floyd Jones; and brother, R.L. Morris.
