Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Fairview cemetery with the Rev. Johnnie Snider officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Memphis and was a lifelong resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

ODESSA — Higinio “Shorty” Medrano Jr., 75, of Odessa, a retired plumber, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in La Haciendita and had been a resident before moving to Odessa. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
