ODESSA - Randy 'Randall' Smith, 29, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, at his residence in Grand Prairie.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Shelba Boyd

TOW - Shelba Jean Boyd, 42, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, in Llano.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Tow Church of Christ with Clayton Arnold officiating. Burial will be at Bluffton cemetery in Llano County. Arrangements by Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home.

She was born in Fort Worth and had been a resident of Tow for five years after moving from Iraan. She was member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Garrell Boyd of Tow; mother, Gladys Twyford of Tow; daughters, Elizabeth Christina Boyd and Cassandra Faye Boyd, both of Tow; brother, Donald Louis Riley of Amarillo; and sister, Rosemary Parisher of Tow.

Sam Felps

MENARD - Sam Bob Felps, 45, a carpenter, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rest Haven cemetery with the Rev. Deron Biles officiating. Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home.

He was born in San Angelo and moved to Menard from Odessa eight years ago. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Mother, Mary Felps of Odessa.

Buster Franklin

BIG SPRING - Buster Klyce Franklin, 25, of Pecos, an employee of Agri-West in Verhalen, died Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, in Plainview.

Services were held Monday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Matthew Williamson officiating. Burial was at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

He was born in Big Spring. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Angela Franklin of Pecos; a stepson, Jacob Chappell of Pecos; daughter, Kathryn Renee Franklin of Pecos; mother and stepfather, Janice and J.T. Pitts of Pecos; sister, Mandy Garza of Stanton; brother, John Franklin of Lenorah; grandparents, Buster and Mildred Haggard of Lenorah; grandmother, Olena Franklin of Big Spring; and great-grandmother, Clara Allred of Stanton.

Reba Harrison

KERMIT - Reba Nell Harrison, 50, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, after a lengthy illness.

Memorial services were held Monday at Baptist Temple in Kermit with the Rev. Gordon Cox officiating. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Home.

She was born in Post.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Bill Harrison of Kermit; daughters, Stacy Brown and Jackie McMullen, both of Burkburnett; Michele Campbell of Pocola, Okla.; parents, Estelle and B.H. Martin, of Monahans; brothers, Mat Martin of Monahans; Michael Martin of Bowling Green, Ky.; sisters, Vada Pendergrass of Breckenridge; Patty McCorcle of Farris; Ginabeth Prater of Breckenridge; and four grandchildren.

Randall Smith

ODESSA - Randall Lee 'Randy' Smith, 29, of Grand Prairie, a maintenance man for an apartment complex, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Odessa and was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Grandmother, Virginia Reynolds of Gardendale; son, Jonathan Sanford of Grand Prairie; grandmother, Naomi Davis of New Mexico; grandfather, Willie B. Reynolds of Gardendale; father, Daryle G. Smith of New Mexico; and brother, Buz McElroy of Moreno Valley, Calif.

Robert Socko

ODESSA - Robert Socko, 59, an employee of New York State Power Project, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home/Angeles Memorial Chapel.

He was born in Shamolin, Pa.

SURVIVORS: Mother, Eleanor Kolodojiez of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; wife, Avenell Socko of Odessa; brothers, Ronald Socko and James Socko, both of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Joseph Socko of Leroy, N.Y.; and sister, Marion Knorr of Niagara Falls, N.Y.

Lucille Thompson

GROESBECK - Lucille Thompson, 89, of Groesbeck died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, at Manor Nursing Home in Mexia.

Graveside services were held Friday at Faulkenberry cemetery in Groesbeck. Arrangements by Groesbeck Funeral Home.

She was born in Purley.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Nita Lynch of Groesbeck; sister, Maxine Wright of Odessa; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

ANDREWS - Willard C. Bolin, 82, of Andrews died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at Permian General Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are pending with McNett Funeral Home.

He was born in Jamestown and retired in 1976 in Andrews. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Diana Hale of Andrews; sister, Vera Bratton of Van; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

Joseph Earnest

BIG SPRING - Joseph Algie 'Red' Earnest, 83, of Big Spring, a retired employee of Humble Oil and Cosden Oil and Chemical, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, in a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Claude Craven officiating. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

He was a lifelong resident of Big Spring. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Barbara Zumwalt of Buckley, Wash.; sons, Joseph Edward Earnest of Big Spring and Richard Allen 'Dickie' Earnest of Van Buren, Ark.; sister, Margie Stephenson of Fort Smith, Ark.; brother, E.B. Earnest of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

James Frost

LUBBOCK - James Keith Frost, 67, of Plainview, a postal clerk for Wayland Baptist University, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, in Plainview after a brief illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. David R. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Eastview cemetery. Arrangements by Sullivan Funeral Home.

He was born in Farmer's Valley and moved to Plainview in 1986. He was a veteran of the Army.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Jean Frost of Plainview; sons, Barry Keith Frost of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Danny Clay Frost and Timmy Jack Frost, both of Odessa; sister, Carolyn Charles of Deming, N.M.; and nine grandchildren.
