MONAHANS — Dale Ellsworth, 64, of Wickett, an oilfield worker, died Thursday, Aug., 15, 2002, in Wickett.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Monahans Memorial cemetery with the Rev. Van Dickson officiating. Arrangements by Family Funeral Service/Jackie Harkey.
He was born in Carlsbad, N.M.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jo Ann Ellsworth of Wickett; son, Max Ellsworth of Wickett; daughters, Violet McCaffity of Monahans and Yolanda Bledsoe of Wickett; brothers, John Ellsworth of Parker and Claude Ellsworth of Carlsbad, N.M.; sisters, Helen Muncrief of Carlsbad, N.M. and Patsy Ward of Midland; and four grandchildren.

Tony Hernandez Sr.
KERMIT — Tony Hernandez Sr., 56, of Kermit, a retired cemetery foreman, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will follow at the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Marathon. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Essie Hernandez of Kermit; sons, Tony Hernandez Jr. and Felipe Hernandez Sr., both of Kermit; daughters, Raymona Hernandez and Dyna Hernandez, both of Kermit; mother, Eulojia Hernandez of Kermit; brother, Raymond Hernandez of Eunice; sisters, Rosa Perez of Kermit, Della Fuqua and Gloria Miller, both of Woodson; and 12 grandchildren.

ODESSA — Ester Rebbeca “Becky” Weigel, 52, of Odessa died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services will be Monday at Rose Hill cemetery in Odessa. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Son, Eric Crispin of Odessa; daughters, Heather Spadoni and Audra Crispin, both of Odessa; sister, Carol Brock of Carlsbad, N.M.; brothers, Vernon Overcash of Roanoke, Va., and Lewis Overcash of Rocky Mount, Va.; stepbrother, Craig Crispin of Odessa; and five grandchildren.

STANTON — Cruz Marquez Aguirre, 33, of Stanton died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, in Stanton.

PECOS — Maria de La Luz Aguilar, 85, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Reeves County Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home of Pecos.
She was born in Pecos and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Eugene Aguilar Jr. of Pecos, John Aguilar of Wichita, Kan., Jesse Aguilar of Lancaster, Calif. and Larry Aguilar of Hurst; daughters, Socorro Ramon of Baytown, Lupe Lyles and Josie Breese, both of Pecos; brothers, Elias Marquez of Pecos and Jessie Perez of California; sister, Magdalena Abila of Pecos; 18 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

Jimmy Cook
MONAHANS — Jimmy Neal Cook, 66, of Baird, owner of Cook Drilling Co., died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, in Baird.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Pavilion at Monahans Memorial cemetery with the Rev. Larry Bennett officiating. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services of Monahans.
He was born in Seymour and moved to Baird from Monahans.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Kathy Fiscus of Baird; stepdaughter, Krissi Edwards of Ballinger; mother, Juanice Cook of Rising Star; sisters, Beth Newberry of Clovis, N.M., and Carolyn Ratliff of Rising Star.

Richmond Mitchell
ODESSA — Richmond Beron “Mitch” Mitchell, 88, of Cleburne, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at Town Hall Estates Retirement Center in Keene.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Services Chapel with Wayne Shelton officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Memorial Services.
He was born in Deep Creek.
SURVIVORS: Son, Clay “Randy” Mitchell of Cleburne; daughter, Paula “Sandy” Martell of Odessa; three grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Teodoro SiFuentes
PECOS — Teodoro SiFuentes, 71, of Pecos, a retired laborer, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Greenwood cemetery with the Rev. Ben Flores officiating. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Mexico. He was Catholic.

ODESSA — Nina E. Smith, 42, of Odessa, a former rancher, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at Hospice House in Odessa.

She was born in El Paso and moved to Odessa from Sierra Blanca.

KERMIT — Billy Wells, 59, of Kermit, a tool pusher at R&H Well Service, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Medical Center in Plano.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Burial will be at Snyder Old cemetery in Snyder. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc. of Kermit.
He was born in Pyote and moved to Kermit eight years ago. He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Linda Wells of Kermit; son, Billy Dwaine Wells of Oklahoma City, Okla.; daughter, Cynthia Carruth of Andrews and Sherrie Yoes of Whitney; brother, David Wells of Andrews; sisters, Martha Banks and Polly Alvarez, both of Snyder; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Peter E. Petersen, 78, of Odessa, dean of Continuing Education at Odessa College, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
Private services were held. Arrangements by Lane Funeral Home Inc., of Niagara Falls.
He was born in Pipestone, Minn. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lois M. Petersen of Odessa; son, Edward S. Petersen of Odessa; daughter, Lois Ann Watson of Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers, Donald E. Petersen of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and William Petersen of Madford, Ore.; and two grandchildren.

PECOS — Michael “Mike” Louis Rodriguez, 43, of Pecos, an oilfield worker, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2002, in Pecos.
