Golda Irwin

ANDREWS - Golda Cassingham Irwin, 72, of Snyder, a homemaker, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Hardison officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Blackwell, Okla., and moved to Snyder in 1990.

SURVIVORS: Husband, D.L. Irwin of Snyder; daughter, Michelle Hendrix of Friona; son, Scott Cassingham of Carlsbad, N.M.; sister, Roena Pitts of Farmington, N.M.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Luis Sanchez

ODESSA - Luis Sanchez, 61, of Odessa, an oilfield worker, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at Deering Nursing Home.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1997, at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Lamesa and had been a resident of Odessa for 25 years. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Brothers, Alfred Sanchez of Dallas; Arthur Sanchez, Robert Sanchez and Candelario Sanchez, all of Odessa; Enis Sanchez of California; and Adolph Sanchez of San Angelo; and sister, Emma Reyes of Odessa.

Nancy Miller

LUBBOCK - Nancy E. Miller, 47, of Lubbock died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at Southern Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Jamison's Funeral Home.

Lillian Phelps

ODESSA - Lillian Viola Phelps, 94, of Odessa, a homemaker and an artist, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Philip W. McLarty officiating. A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Haskew, Okla., first moved to Odessa in 1947 and after several moves, returned permanently in 1960.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Jacquelyn Ann Williams of Odessa; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Derald Stuteville

MONAHANS - Derald Stuteville, 26, a construction worker, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, at Haughton, La.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home of Monahans.

He was born in Lake Charles, La., and moved to Haughton from Monahans.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Derald and Pattie Stuteville of Monahans; grandparents, Dutch and Jean Cox of Carthridge, Ben Stuteville Jr. of Haughton, and J.C. and Alberta Bennett of Mendon, La.; brothers, Daniel Stuteville and Patrick Stuteville, both of Monahans; and sisters, Angie Stuteville and Amanda Stuteville, both of Monahans.

Dale Smith

ODESSA - Dale Andree Smith, 53, of Odessa died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1997, at her residence.

Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

David Leon Alexander

SEMINOLE - David Leon Alexander, 67, of Seminole died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1997, at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the Calvary Baptist Church in Seminole with the Rev. Jack Towle officiating. Burial will be in the Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Home.

He was a pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Seminole for six years.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Alberta Alexander of Seminole; sons, Mike Alexander of Cedar Park, Steve Alexander of Pampa, Danny Alexander of Amarillo, Michael Paul Long of Keller and Jeffry Lyn Long of Olden; daughters, Franciene Long of Midland and Velinda Rene Box of Roanoke; brothers, Horace Crutcher of Andrews and William Earl Loyd of Odessa; sisters, Jewel Mae Thomason of Sweethome, Ore., Ruby Marie Black of Pauls Valley, Okla., Helen Fay Whitfield of Crowel, Bobbie Jean Connelly of Houston, Dottie Lee Thomasy of Sayre, Okla., Gracie Shephers of Alvin and Mary Ellen Coonfield of Erick, Okla.

Don Payne

MCCAMEY - Don Payne, 83, of McCamey died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, at McCamey Hospital.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, with the Rev. Alex Sabo officiating. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral Home.

He was a self-employed mechanic and farmer, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of McCamey.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Elenore Benet, Lenore Brown and Leore Paterson, all of Wisconsin; sons, Mel Payne and Dean Payne, both of McCamey, and Marvin Payne of Wisconsin; brothers, Leo Payne of Copperas Cove and Arnold Payne of Wisconsin; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Myrtle May Fesperman

ODESSA - Myrtle May Fesperman, 96, of Odessa died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, at Seaberry Nursing Center in Odessa.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo with the Rev. Billy Simmons officiating. Arrangements by Johnson Funeral Home.

She was a homemaker and a former resident of San Angelo.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Helen Clark of San Angelo, Ruth Brown of Desoto, Mo., and Grace Bridges and Fay Riley, both of Odessa; sons, Cecil Fesperman and Steve Fesperman, both of San Angelo, and Henry Fesperman of Blackwell; brothers, Jim Reynolds and Charlie Reynolds, both of Bridgeport, John Reynolds of Graham and Alvie Reynolds of Odessa; sister, Dorene Brooks of Stamford.

Santiago Ramos

SEMINOLE - Santiago Ramos, 77, of Seminole, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, at St. Mary Hospital in Lubbock after an illness.

Rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight and Saturday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Sunday at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Liam Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in the Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was a World War II Army veteran and a mechanic.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Amalia Ramos of Seminole; sons, Hector Ramos of Chino, Calif., and Santiago Ramos Jr. of Monterey, Calif.; daughter, Amalia Jaso of Maryland; brothers, Remejo Ramos of Fort Stockton, Lorinzo Ramos of Seminole and Nico Ramos of San Angelo; sister, Maria Chavez of Fort Stockton; and five grandchildren.

Eileen Natlee Gariepy Wimberly

BIG LAKE - Eileen Natlee Gariepy Wimberly, 73, of Big Lake and formerly of Houston, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1997, at Reagan County Nursing Center in Big Lake.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cowcreek cemetery in Dublin. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral Home of Big Lake and Harrell Funeral Home of Dublin.

She was a retired teacher and a registered nurse.

SURVIVORS: Cousin, Bobby Teague of Big Lake.

Lawrence M. Black

ODESSA - Lawrence M. Black, 91, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, in Big Spring.

Services are pending with Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.

James Blake

DEL RIO - James 'JimBlake, 71, of Del Rio died Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Sacred Heart Church in Del Rio with the Rev. Gerard Barrett officiating.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorothy Farrell Blake of Del Rio; daughter, Kathy Olliff of Odessa; sons, Jim Blake of Santa Anna, John Blake of Henderson and Brian Blake of Brackettville; brother, Bernard Blake of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
