She was born in Blackwell, Okla., and moved to Snyder in 1990.

ODESSA - Luis Sanchez, 61, of Odessa, an oilfield worker, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at Deering Nursing Home.

He was born in Lamesa and had been a resident of Odessa for 25 years. He was Catholic.

ODESSA - Lillian Viola Phelps, 94, of Odessa, a homemaker and an artist, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Philip W. McLarty officiating. A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Haskew, Okla., first moved to Odessa in 1947 and after several moves, returned permanently in 1960.

MONAHANS - Derald Stuteville, 26, a construction worker, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, at Haughton, La.

He was born in Lake Charles, La., and moved to Haughton from Monahans.

He was a pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Seminole for six years.

He was a self-employed mechanic and farmer, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of McCamey.

He was a World War II Army veteran and a mechanic.
