ODESSA — Gladys Lenora Beauchamp, 39, of Odessa, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, in Bakersfield, Calif.

She was born in Brawley, Calif, and had been a resident of Odessa and Plainview. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
SURVIVORS: Father, James Ernest Beauchamp of Bodfish, Calif.; brothers, Jack L. Beauchamp of Kaufman and Jeffrey Neal Beauchamp of Kermit; and sister, Georgia Carol Peters of Bodfish.

Patricia Callaway
MONAHANS — Patricia Ann Callaway, 62, of Monahans, a retired radio station co-owner, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Monahans Managed Care Center.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Atlanta, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Harold Callaway of Monahans; sons, David Wayne Callaway Sr. of Abilene and Harold Bruce Callaway of Graham; daughters, Lynn Wilson of Monahans, Debra Lynn Ford of San Angelo and Teresa Ann Stanton of Odessa; sister, Barbara Elliot of New Waverly; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Guadalupe Velasco
PRESIDIO — Guadalupe Bustamante Velasco, 87, of Presidio, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at an Odessa Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday at Sta. Teresa Catholic Church in Presidio. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at Desert Hills cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home of Marfa.
He was born in Presidio. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Carmen Velasco of Presidio; son, Gilbert Velasco of Presidio; sisters, Josefina Martinez of El Paso and Christina Rodriguez of Hobbs, N.M.; brother, Alfonso Velasco of Odessa; and two grandchildren.

Alice Whitley
OZONA — Alice N. Whitley, 103, of Littlefield, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, at Hospitality House in Littlefield.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Ozona cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Broyles officiating. Arrangements by Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home of Earth.
She was born in Robertson County. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Evanel Winders of Earth and Jo Campbell of Odessa; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Clifton Nunnally Word, 87, of Odessa, a retired print shop owner, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002, in Odessa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Mausoleum with Tom Burke officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
He was born in Ennis.

KEENE — Richmond Beron Mitchell, 88, of Keene, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at a retirement center in Keene.

ODESSA - Florencio Baeza, 79, a laborer and a ranch hand, died Saturday Aug. 3, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. tooday at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Serafin Avenido officiating. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home
He was born in Presidio. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Alvaro Baeza of Snyder; sisters, Emma Villanueva of Pecos, Hortencia Ramirez and Anita Garcia, both of Presidio and Carmen Medrano of Odessa.

ALPINE - Hazel Freeman, 86, a retired cashier for Sul Ross State University died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at a Fort Stockton nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Elm Grove cemetery with the Rev. John Carnagey officiating. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Coleman and was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jim Freeman of Laredo; daughter, Starla Martinez of Santa Fe, N.M.; and three grandchildren.

Alan Holleyman
FORT STOCKTON - Alan R. 'Sonny' Holleyman, 70, of Sanderson, a retired Terrell County chief deputy, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, in Sanderson.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today at Sanderson High School auditorium. Burial will be at National cemetery at Arlington. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Kermit and moved to Sanderson in 1986 from Pyote. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Christine Holleyman of Sanderson; mother, Ruth Howard of Duncanville; sons, Alan R. Holleyman Jr. and Lark Raymond, both of Napa, Calif.; daughter, Li nda Wise of Napa; step daughters, Sharon E. Campbell and Athena Campbell, both of Fort Worth, and Cherre Settle of Shreveport, La.; brother, Steven Howard of Fort Worth; sister, Kathi Phelan of Duncanville; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was born in Harm. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
SURVIVORS: Son, James Leonard Lucas of Kingman, Ariz; daughters, Joletta Doreen Hensley of Odessa and Sammie Perry of Weatherford; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Arthur Gonzales Sanchez, 51, of Odessa, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was in Lamesa and was a lifelong resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Son, Israel Sanchez of New London; five brothers; a sister; and two grandchildren.

Kenneth Sutton
ANDREWS - Kenneth Allen Sutton, 79, of Alamogordo, N.M., a retired teacher, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Kello officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born Santa Fe, Okla. He moved to Alamogordo in 2001. He had previously lived in Odessa, Andrews and Irving. He was a Navy of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was Baptist.
Survivors: Wife: Myra Sutton of Alamogordo; son, Rick Sutton of Odessa; daughter, Rhonda Kaschmitter of Carrollton; sister: Joy Clement of Alamogordo; and three grandchildren.

Joaquin Saenz
