ODESSA — The Rev. Dr. John Rasco, 89, of Odessa, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Clyde Ray Smith Sr.
ODESSA — Clyde Ray Smith Sr., 66, of Odessa, a well company owner, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home.

Willie Benham
ODESSA — Willie Olene Leonard Benham, 74, of Odessa, a retired employee of First State Bank, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Cook officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Coleman. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Bruce Benham of Odessa and Stanley Benham of Gardendale; stepson, Ronnie Acton of El Paso; daughter, Patty Needham of Atlanta; brothers, Bobby Dale Leonard of Odessa and Dulane Leonard of Big Spring; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

QUITMAN — Judy Carol Patterson Goss, 56, of Sanderson, a homemaker, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, in Sanderson.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Shady Grove cemetery with the Rev. Fred Morrow officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Wood County.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Jerry Goss of Sanderson; daughter, Patricia Hagelstein of Sanderson; mother, Claudine Patterson of Quitman; brother, Tony Patterson of Quitman; sister, Nicki Wall of Littleton, Colo.; and three grandchildren.

Donald Huey
MONAHANS — Donald Lee Huey, 57, of Monahans, a self-employed oilfield construction worker, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Revs. Morris Johnson, David Lively, Robert Mitchell and Larry Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services.
He was born in Coleman.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Beverly Huey of Monahans; son, Gary Huey of Monahans; daughter, Debra Francisco of Monahans; brothers, Raymond Huey of Dallas, Sam Huey and Lynn Huey, both of Monahans, and Terry Huey of Weatherford; sister, Opal Mobbs of Abilene; and five grandchildren.

HOUSTON — William S. “Billy” Pulkinen, 51, of Odessa, a truck driver, died Saturday, June 22, 2002, in Odessa.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home Family Chapel. Burial was at Forest Park Lawndale cemetery. Arrangements by Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home and cemetery.
He was born in Houston and had been a resident of Pasadena.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Cindy Lynn Pulkinen of Odessa; sons, David Manuel and Jason Manuel, both of Odessa; daughters, Brandy Ambrose and Kathy Mitchel, both of Odessa; brother, Frank Pulkinen of Manvel; sister, Patricia Truelock of Houston; and five grandchildren.

Lester Smith
LAMESA — Lester Smith, 67, of Lamesa, a self-employed truck driver, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at Sage Healthcare Center in Lamesa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathanial Tarpley officiating. Burial will be at Lamesa Memorial Park. Arrangements by Branon Funeral Home.
He was born in Gonzales and was a resident of Dawson County for 44 years.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Debra Favors of Odessa; son, Lester Ray Smith of Lamesa; sister, Ernestine Stovall of Gonzales; and a grandchild.

SEMINOLE — J.C. Williamson, 89, of Weatherford, a retired farmer, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at a Weatherford hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Gaines County cemetery South with James T. Smith officiating. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Snyder. He was Presbyterian.

She was born in Artesia, N.M. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Son, David J. Longoria Jr. of Fort Stockton; stepbrothers, David R. Nunez of Roswell, N.M., and Chon Nunez of Fort Stockton; sisters, Cleo Castillo, Empario Anayo and Sarah Ureta, all of Fort Stockton, and Alicia Jaquez of Abilene; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
