MONAHANS — Edith W. Newberry, 94, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Monahans Managed Care.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. at Lakeland Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Dan Shipley officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeland Hill Memorial Park.
She was born in San Angelo.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Paula Gant of Jal, N.M., Samie Baker of Pyote and Ann Silva of Lake Brownwood; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Delnah Williams
ODESSA — Delnah M. Williams, 79, of Odessa, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Luther Whitlow officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Rule. She was a Jehovah’s Witness.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Winston Williams of Odessa; mother, Lillian Reeves of Haskell; son Michael Williams of Denison; and brother, Charles Reeves of Odessa.

ODESSA — Loyd Michael “Mike” Franklin, Sr., 51, of Odessa, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at his residence.

She was born on in Clarence, La., and moved to Midland in 1955. She was Pentacostal.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Delmas Wayne Blue Sr. of Midland; son, Delmas Wayne Blue Jr. of Midland; daughters, Deborah Jean Shoemaker of San Antonio, Sherion Ilene Webb, Teresa Kay Blue and Janet Lea Blue, all of Midland; sisters, Dorothy Jones of Weatherford and Marie Breakiron of Baytown; brother, W.J. Hickman of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

HOBBS, N.M. — Gwen Bradford, 68, of Hobbs, N.M., an employee of El Paso Natural Gas, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, in Hobbs, N.M.

She was born in Kilgore.

ODESSA — Evelyn “Rita” Burrows, 80, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Mullin and moved to Odessa in 1958. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

KERMIT — Amy Richards Jean, 96, of Fort Worth, a homemaker, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, at Richland Hills Nursing and Rehab Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kermit cemetery with the Rev. Beth Harrington officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home.
She was born in Hunt County, and she was a 33-year resident of Wink.
SURVIVORS: Son, Paul Jean of Holtom City; four grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

SEMINOLE — Marie Murrell, 80, of Midland, a retired employee of Bonner Lease Service, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, in Midland.

She was born in Charly. She was Presbyterian.

MARFA — Ambrosio “Gordo” Ramirez, 69, of Marfa, died Thurday, Aug. 22, 2002, in an Odessa hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial will follow at Merced cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Ruidoso. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Elizabeth Rodriguez of Marfa; and mother, Dolores Uranga of Marfa.

MONAHANS - Jacob Michael Baxley, 10 months, of Monahans died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans.

She was born in Stith and moved to Odessa in 1987 from Pecos. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
