ODESSA — Sierra Stratton, an infant, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jeff Cleere officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Shanda Stratton of Odessa; sister, Sara Jo Stratton of Odessa; and grandmother, Jo Armstrong of Abilene.

Maggie Baiza
ODESSA — Maggie Ruth Baiza, 67, of Odessa died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at her residence.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Georgia Donivan
YORK, Pa. — Georgia L. “Bretta” Ingraham Donivan, 61, of Dallastown, Pa., a nurse, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002, at her residence.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the family residence, 250 Coventry Road, Dallastown, PA, 17313. Burial will be private. Arrangements by Cremation Direct Services of York County.
She was born in Olglesbe, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Aislinn D. Cunningham of York, Pa.; brother, Russell Ingraham of Odessa; sister, Gracie Anderson of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and one grandchild.

Floyd Giles
ODESSA — Floyd E. Giles, 71, of Odessa, a retired construction worker, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Mike Martin officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Dexter.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Darwin L. Giles of Odessa, Monte Giles of New Brighton, Minn., and Floyd D. Giles of Prior Lake, Minn.; daughters, Gwend Hardesty of Midland, Janet Giles of New Brighton, Minn., Elizabeth Ann Perry of Carson City Nev., Debra Schipper of Las Vegas, Nev., and Joyce L. Perry of Tehachapia, Calif.

Joyce Gist
ANDREWS — Joyce Slusher Gist, 75, of Henderson, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002, in Henderson.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Sandra Keith officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
She was born in Paris, Texas. She moved to Andrews in 1955 and to Hendersonin 1999. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Laura Beth Waggoner of Henderson; son David Gist of Belton; brother, Jack Slusher of Midland; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Filiberto Molinar
ODESSA — Filiberto G. Molinar, 82, of Odessa, a retired truck driver, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Owen Sharp officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Terlingua. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Susie Molinar of Odessa; son, Joe Molinar of Austin; daughter, Dalinda Brito of Odessa; sister, Zenaida White of Alpine; brothers, Fred Molinar of Alpine, Sammuel Molinar of Odessa and Heminio Molinar of El Paso; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Sam O’Bannon
MONAHANS — Sam O’Bannon, 79, of Monahans, a salesman, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, in North Richland Hills.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Monahans with the Rev. Larry Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Family Funeral Serivces of Monahans.
He was born in Iron County, Mo.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Narvell O’Bannon of Monahans; sons, David Mitchell of Monahans, Michael Mitchell of Weatherford and Byron O’Bannon of North Richland Hills; daughters, Nora Atwood of Midland; Angela Bledsoe of Odessa and Cathy Bates of North Richland Hills; sister, Louise Stafford of Lamesa; nine grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Raul Ortega
SAN ANTONIO — Raul Ortega, 87, of Monahans, a taxi driver, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fort Sam Houston National cemetery in San Antonio. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services.
She was born in Kingsburg.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Raul Ortega Jr., Edward Ortega, Richard Ortega and Rudy Ortega, all of San Antonio; daughters, Louisa Gomez, Ester Mora and Cecelia Ortega, all of San Antonio, Rita Bullard of Sun City, Calif., and Maria Moreno of Monahans; 36 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Carl Prater
VAN — Carl Prater, 88, of Kermit, a foreman, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hilliard Funeral Home with the Rev. David McNary officiating. Fairway Garden of Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Hilliard Funeral Home of Van.
He was born in Branson, Mo. He was Baptist. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
SURVIVORS: Son, John Prater of Van; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Natividad Rivera, 78, of Odessa died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

ARTESIA, N.M. — Marvin Cotner, 86, of Artesia, N.M., a machinist, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Cimarron House in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodbine cemetery. Arrangements by Terpening and Son Mortuary Inc.
He was born in Short Bend, Mo. He moved to Artesia in 1955.
SURVIVORS: Son, Gary Cotner of Collinsville, Okla.; daughters, Barbara Price of Sedalia, Colo., Nancy Cotner of Albuquerque, N.M. and Betty Ann Stone of Midland; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

PECOS — Joe Lindley Osborn, 60, of Pecos, a retired foreman, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Toyah cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Anita McNelly of Moore, Okla., and Kathy Tolle of Euless; brothers, Charlie Osborn and Jim Osborn, both of Pecos, Jack Osborn of Toyah, Dan Osborn of Huntsville and Jay Osborn of Weatherford; sister, Billie Faye Hughes of Junction; and five grandchildren.

HOBBS, N.M. — Jeremy Keith Pulliam, 23, of Odessa, a contract employee, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at New Life Fellowship Church with the Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Haven cemetery. Arrangements by Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
He was born in Hobbs.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Kristen Pulliam of Midland; father, Ronald Pulliam of Gardendale; mother, Cynthia Pulliam of Gardendale; brother, Justin Pulliam of Lubbock; and grandparents, Felix and Betty Russell of Seminole.

SNYDER — Billy Wells, 59, of Kermit, a tool pusher, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Medical Center of Plano.

He was born in Pyote. He was an eight-year resident of Kermit. He was Baptist.

He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico. He was Catholic.
