GRANBURY — Vada Louise Misenheimer, 82, of Granbury, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, in Bedford.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury with the Rev. Charles Thornton officiating. Burial will be at Holly Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements by Martin’s Funeral Home of Granbury.
She was born in Johnson County.
SURVIVORS: Son, Randy Misenheimer of Euless; daughter, Judy Turner of Bakersfield, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Frances Samuels
MIDLAND — Frances K. Samuels, 69, of Midland, a retired Champion Chemical employee, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002, at her residence.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Chapel in Midland. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Chapel of Midland.
She was born in Hunt and moved to Midland in 1973.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Robert Samuels of Midland, Mark Samuels of Kansas City, Mo., and Steven Samuels of Austin; sisters, Marvel Sayers of Midland and Magie Lockhart of Poteet; and one grandchild.

Gary Sloan
MIDLAND — Gary Neil Sloan, 50, of Midland, an oilfield salesman, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, in Midland.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Tommy Potter officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Abilene and moved to Midland in 1952. He was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dolores Sloan of Odessa; stepdaughter, Gerri Cates of Alamogordo, N.M.; parents, Clarence and Jerry Sloan of Midland; sister, Debbie Pettie of Dallas; and one grandchild.

John Williams
ANDREWS — John D. Williams, 46, of Kyle, a computer operator, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, in Austin.
Services will be at 7 p.m. today at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Other funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with the Rev. Eddie Marcum officiating. Burial will also be Thursday at Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born in Pampa.
SURVIVORS: Father, Bill Williams of Andrews; and brother, Paul Williams of Andrews.

Lydia Mason
CRANE — Lydia “Mae” Mason, 88, of Crane, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002, in Odessa.
Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.

Pedro Almendarez
ODESSA — The Rev. Pedro M. Almendarez, 78, a former Santa Fe Railway foreman and minister, died Sept. 2, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Apostolic Assembly Church with the Rev. Roman Arreolo officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Alpine. He was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Elisa Almendarez; sons, Pete Almendarez Jr. and John Almendarez, both of Odessa, Roy Almendarez of Midland, and Ben Alemendarez of Pecos; daughters, Delores Contreras of Fort Stockton, Epifania Escobar of Houston, Esperanza Hope Acosta of Lewisville, Elia Dominguez of Houston, Priscilla Nino of Odessa, and Elodia Hinojos of Phoenix; brothers, Transito Almendarez and Victoriano Almendarez, both of Fort Stockton; sister, Gloria Dolbow of Midland; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Wilbur Gaede
ANDREWS — The Rev. Wilbur F. Gaede, 91, of Andrews, a minister, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Desert View Manor in Crane.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Means Memorial Methodist Church with the Revs. Earl Blair and Eddie Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Hurley. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Rubye Gaede of Andrews; daughter, Nita Gaede Lear of Monahans; step-sister, Leota Potter of Monahans; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

KERMIT — Mary Marie Hill, 75, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Family Services Funeral Parlor. Burial will follow at Psalm 23 cemetery in the Perry Addition. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
She was born in River Mines, Mo., and had been a resident of Kermit for 28 years.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Joe Henson of Kermit, Lee Henson of Big Spring, Billy Ames of Iron Mountain, Mo., and Thomas Henson of Farmington, Mo.; daughters, Ruth Custer of Monahans, Shirley Verdin of Florida, Mary Lee Hughes of Patton, Mo., Maggie Smithhart and Wanda Melton, both of Kermit, Mary Eva Williams of Bonne Terre, Mo., and Christina Harris of Philo, Ill.; brother, Wesley Lincoln of Jacksonville, Ore.; 24 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild.

She was born in Lott.

Ronald Rupert Willard
ODESSA — Ronald Rupert Willard, 73, a retired railroad conductor, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Hospice House.

He was born in Toledo, Ohio. He was an Army veteran.

KERMIT — Christina Porras Vara Jaquez, 81, of Kermit died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Family Services Funeral Parlor. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
She was born in Del Rio and had been a resident of Kermit for 57 years. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Enrique Jaquez of Kermit, Joe Jaquez of Deming, N.M., and David Jaquez of Artesia, N.M.; daughters, Janie Woodard, Delia Heredia and Christina Perez, all of Kermit; brother, Jose Vara of Phoenix; sisters, Conrada Jaquez of Andrews and Candida Munoz of Kermit; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

MONAHANS — Randy Jess E. Baker Sr., 44, of Pampa, a field mechanic, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, in Pampa.

He was born in Dekalb, Ill., and was a former resident of Wink. He was Baptist.

She was born in Rockdale. She was Baptist.
