Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Kermit with the Rev. Mel Herring officiating. Burial will at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home.
He was born in Stillwater, Okla., and moved to Wink 63 years ago. He was Lutheran.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Susie Gray of Wink; sister, Carletta Fenner of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Richard Turner, 64, of Odessa died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Albuquerque, N.M.

JAL, N.M. - Joe Brownie Baum, 88, a retired lease foreman with Conoco, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. MST today at the First Baptist Church in Jal, N.M., with the Rev. G.A. Magee officiating. Burial will be at the Jal cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Cross Plains and had been a resident of Jal, N.M. for 56 years. He was a Baptist.

KERMIT - Sybil H. Hutton, 80, a retired licensed vocational nurse, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Chicago and was a resident of Wink for 20 years. She was a Methodist.

SWEETWATER - Walter Lewis 'Pete' Kinney, 73, a former material supervisor for Enron Oil and Gas Co., died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997, in San Angelo.

He was born in Comancho, Okla., and was a resident of Sweetwater. He was a member of the Church of Christ and an Army veteran of World War II.
