Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with the Rev. David Espitia officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Elgin, Ill. He was a Catholic.

Robert Watson
ODESSA - Robert 'Bob' M. Watson, 83, a retired postal worker, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997, at Heritage Oaks Nursing Home in Corsicana.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Dr. David Mindel officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery.
He was born in Odessa and was a member of the First Christian Church.

ANDREWS - Maybelle Drinkard, 84, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at the Andrews Health Care Center.

She was born in Brownwood and moved to Andrews in 1991 from Bovina. She was Baptist.

He was born in Basile, La. and had been a resident of Crane for three years.

He was born in Homewood, Miss., and lived in Odessa 24 years before moving to Homewood.

COLEMAN - Leonard 'L.D.' Arnold, 91, of Odessa, a retired sales representative for R.J. Reynolds Co. and Martin Glover Co., died Friday, Dec. 12, 1997, at his residence.

He was born in Coleman County and moved to Odessa in 1964.

NEW IBERIA, La. - Fred John Barnett, 89, of New Iberia, La., retired owner of City Tailors in Odessa, died Friday Dec. 12, 1997, at a Lafayette, La., hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with the Rev. Albert J. Boumans officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Evangeline Funeral Homes Inc. in New Iberia. Burial will be at Holy Family Mausoleum with military services conducted by V.F.W. Post 1982. He was born in Frankfurt, Ind., and moved to New Iberia in 1980 from Odessa. He was Catholic.

OLNEY - Elwood Bennett, 70, of Kermit, a self-employed oil producer, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, in Kermit.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lunn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Allen officiating. Burial will be at Restland cemetery in Olney.
He was born in Olney and moved to Kermit three years ago from Wichita Falls. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
SURVIVORS: Son, Roger Bennett of Dallas; sister, Helen Wright of Bentonville, Ark.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
