She was born in Sanderson, Texas, and lived in Odessa before moving to Lake Butler in 1987. She was Baptist.

ODESSA Basil M. Boatwright Sr., 72, of Kermit, died at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa Monday. He was born Aug. 8, 1930 in Camp Springs.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Temple Baptist Church in Kermit.
Boatwright was a retired plant operator for Chevron. He was preceded in death by his son Nathan Boatwright and brother David Boatwright.
