Violet Bell
ODESSA - Violet Marie Bell, a former employee of Pelletier Shoes, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Prague, Okla., and came to Odessa in 1952. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Paula Marie Shahan of Abilene and Mary Beth Brantley of Odessa; sisters, Daisy Lemon of Enid, Okla., and Loveta Adrean of Vero Beach, Fla.; brother, Elmer Turner of Enid; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Leroy Box
HOBBS, N.M. - Leroy Box, 76, of Hobbs owner of J.E. Box and Sons construction company, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Private family services were held in Hobbs. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born in Kansas City.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jean Box of Hobbs; sons, Earl Box of Albuquerque and Jimmy West of Georgetown, Texas; daughters, Cheri Farmer and Teresa Box, both of Hobbs, and Patti West of Denver, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.

Hope Hall
ODESSA - Hope Ann Hall, 41, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, in Odessa.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
She was born in San Francisco and moved to Odessa in 1977 from Virginia.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Dave Hall of Odessa; son, Jeramiah Hall of Odessa; daughter Erica Hall of Odessa; parents, Jack and Barbara Rudd of Odessa; brothers, Scott Rudd of Odessa and Ron Rudd of Mount Pleasant; sisters, Vickie Sandefer of Odessa and Michelle Ragsdale of Odessa.

Allie Wade
OLNEY - Allie 'Noner' Wade, 97, of Olney, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at Hamilton Hospital in Olney.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Lunn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Graham officiating. Burial will be in the Restland cemetery. Arrangements by Lunn Funeral Home.
She was born in Wilson, Okla., and moved to Olney from Bittercreek in 1960. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Robert Wade and Jim Wade both of Olney; daughters: Wanda Cone of Monahans, Reba Robertson and Faye Dixon both of Olney, Joyce Bennett of Kermit; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Lennie M. Fuller
ODESSA — Lennie M. Fuller, 93, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2003, at Crane Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Crane. She was born March 27, 1909, to John and Cora Waggoner in Loogootee, Martin County, Ind.
Lennie married Miles S. Fuller in Galesburg, Ill., Sept. 23, 1929. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed being with and caring for her family.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Terry Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Pat Coates of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sons, Tom Fuller of Galesburg, Ill., John Fuller and wife, JoAnn, of Odessa, Raymond Fuller of Galesburg, Ill., and Dave Fuller of Florida; and seven grandchildren including John Edward Fuller Jr. and Nancy Fuller, both of Odessa.
Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Roy “Bob” Hardie
ODESSA — Roy “Bob” Hardie, 68, passed away Friday, February 28, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at noon Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Chapel.
He was born to Charles and Thelma Hardie in Canton, Ohio, November 27, 1934. Bob married Cheryl Bowar September 15, 1990, in Odessa, Texas, and was a lifetime member of the VFW and the Trans-Pecos American Indian Association. He was employed by Long Beach Unified School District for 10 years in Long Beach, Calif., and worked several years for Furrs in Odessa and Midland. Bob served in the Navy during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts and then retired after 18 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Odette Hardie. Bob is survived by his wife, Cheryl Hardie of Odessa; son, Roy Robert Hardie Jr. of Edison, N.J.; daughter, Deddette Hardie of Orange, Calif.; sisters, Helen Urban of Canton, Ohio, Lou Shuman of Magnolia, Ohio, Charlene Minor of Canton, Ohio, and Deanna Hardie of Robertsville, Ohio; grandson, David Hardie of Visalia, Calif.; step-grandchildren, John Mills of Cathedral City, Calif., Rick Mills of Seattle, Wash., Ken Mills of Tucson, Ariz., and Debra Grey of Las Vegas, Nev.; aunt, Alberta Young of Canton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Bertha Marie Henderson
ODESSA — Funeral services for Bertha Marie Henderson, 89, of Odessa will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Trout officiating.
Entombment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Mausoleum under direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henderson passed away Sunday, March 1, 2003, at the Sienna Care Center. She was born January 7, 1914, in Yoakum, Texas, and married Clifton E. Henderson February 2, 1936, in Yoakum. She also attended high school and the Baldwin Business College in Yoakum. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and worked a short time as a secretary for the First United Methodist Church of Odessa and the State Welfare Department. She has been a resident of Odessa and an active member of the First United Methodist Church since 1951, moving from Houston.
Survivors include her husband of Odessa; two daughters, Elaine Sherrill and husband, Durwood, of Escondido, Calif., and Jeanne Finley and husband, Edward, of Odessa; one sister, Dorothy Pilzner and husband, Robert, of Victoria; four grandchildren, Debbie Mittleman and husband, Guy, of Memphis, Tenn., Jim Sherrill of Albany, Calif., Kathy Bosma and husband, Mark, of Montgomery, Texas, and Gary Veteto of Houston.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made the First United Methodist Church of Odessa.

Irene Eleanor Olle
PFLUGERVILLE — Irene Eleanor Olle, 88, of Fort Worth, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 2, 2003. She was born August 28, 1914, to John Swenson and Nora Rehn Swenson in Kennedy, Texas. She was a member of New Sweden Lutheran Church in New Sweden, Texas. She had been a longtime resident of Travis County until 1996. Mrs. Olle was a retired employee of the State of Texas.
Her parents, husband, Emanuel Olle, and one sister and one brother preceded Mrs. Olle in death.
She is survived by her son, Tom Olle and his wife, Penny, of Fort Worth; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ruby Harkins, Mrs. Doris Gustafson and Annabelle Halm of Austin, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Rennegarbe officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jay Martyn, John Harkins, David Harkins, Gary Halm, Royce Gustafson, Jerry Morrisey, Will Davidson and Cody Driggers.
For those desiring, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Terry Scott Greenroad
ASHDOWN, Ark. — Terry Scott Greenroad, 51, of Ashdown, AR, was called home Feb. 28, 2003. A son, brother, uncle, nephew, or cousin to some, but a friend to us all.
Scott was born July 12, 1951 in Odessa, TX, and was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam Era. He loved hunting, fishing, and nature. Scotty was a 29-year member of The Last Few Motorcycle Club.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Stafford Greenroad who departed this earthly estate Feb. 28, 1988.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Greenroad of Ashdown, AR; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Jimmie Kyle of Ashdown, AR; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Melvin A. and Doris Greenroad of Radcliff, KY, and Ronald J. and Candace Greenroad of Seminole, TX; seven nieces and nephews, Yvette Kerr, Michelle Bush, Carin Petrosky, Brian Greenroad, Angel Holland, Joey Greenroad, and Jimmie Kyle Jr.; 9 great nieces and nephews: Brian II, Nicholas, Scotty, Dakotah, Josie, Caleb, Ashlen, Seth and Megan, along with many other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held March 4, 10 a.m. at Madden Funeral Chapel in Ashdown, AR, with Bro. George Scarborough officiating. Pall bearers were Buster, R.D., Bull, Norman, Doug, Bruce, Goodnight, and Ben. Honorary pall bearers were Brian Greenroad, Ron Kerr, Jimmie Kyle Jr., Matt Holland, Scotty Bush, David Petrosky, and Joey Greenroad. Followed by burial in Plain Dealing, LA. The Last Few Motorcycle Club provided a motorcycle escort for Scott‘s last ride to Plain Dealing. He will be missed by all! His free spirit will forever ride like the wind.

Eleanor Marie Wright
ODESSA — Eleanor Marie Wright, 84, a long time resident of Odessa passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at the Sienna Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Sonny Wright; one son, Jerry Fitzgerald; her parents; and a brother, Norman Runge.
She is survived by a special friend, Darrell Fifer and family of Odessa; her sons, Dennis Fitzgerald of Mabank, Texas, Bobby Dean Curry Wright of Odessa and Buddy Arch Curry Wright of Hobbs, N.M.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2003, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Scofield officiating.
Funeral services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Neva Beaty
ODESSA — Neva C. Beaty, 89, of Odessa, retired owner and operator of M&M Answering Service, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Comanche Trail Nursing Home in Big Spring.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Burial will be at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Spanish Fort. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Brother, O.R. “Jack” Williams of Odessa; and sister, Jean Ross of Harrisburg, Pa.
