VERA - Bill Rutledge, 88, of Odessa, a retired farmer, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, in Lubbock.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Vera cemetery in Vera with the Rev. Royce Denton officiating. Arrangements by Archer Funeral Home of Seymour.
He was born in Red Creek. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Elmer Rutledge of Odessa; sisters, Lavern Fry of Lubbock, and Reba Smiddy of San Antonio; brother, Harold Rutledge of San Antonio; and two grandchildren.

Wallace Scott
ODESSA - Wallace A. Scott, 78, of Odessa, a retired movie theater owner, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Hospice House.
Memorial services will be June 28, 2003. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Van Horn. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Boots Scott of Odessa; son, Wallace Aiken Scott II of Sherman; daughters, Seree Irene Whitlow of Hawkins, Dema Margueret Moore of Waco, and Deby Elizabeth Garner of Odessa; sister, Agnes Duckering of Odessa; and 11 grandchildren.

Gonzala Trejo
ODESSA - Gonzala Cabrera Trejo, 88, of Odessa, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Mercardo officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at 1011 West Monahans St. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Fresnio Zacateas, Mexico. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jesus Cabrera, Luis Trejo and Joe A. Garcia Sr., all of Odessa; daughters, Elveria Morene and Mary T. Garcia, both of Odessa; and brothers, Maximino Cabrera and Nicholas Hernandez, both of Odessa.

ODESSA - Mary Pena, 50, of Odessa, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at her residence.

ODESSA - Jackie Garcia, infant daughter of Everado and Marisol Garcia of Odessa, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Baby Land Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Chapa Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Parents; brother, Everado Garcia Jr. of Odessa; sister, Amanda Garcia of Odessa; and grandparents, Socorro DeLeon and Carlos DeLeon, both of Odessa, and Sophia Gallegos of Mexico.

He was born in Nocona, Okla. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

KERMIT - D. T. Taylor, 64, of Kermit, a self-employed painter, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, in Kermit.

He was born in Camden, Ark.

BRANSON, MO. — Joan Pauline Townsend, 78, formerly of Odessa, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2003, in Branson, Mo.

He was born in Roswell, N.M. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
