Graveside services were held Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Odessa.

SEMINOLE - Ruby 'Tommie' Hollis, 70, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, at Memorial Health Care Center in Seminole.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Gaines County cemetery with the Rev. Amon Langston officiating. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Lamesa and had been a resident of Seminole since 1979 after moving from Penwell.

ODESSA - Elifonsa T. Ramos, 72, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997, at her residence.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in the chapel of Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and had been a resident of Odessa for 15 years. She was Catholic.

BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. - Clara Mae Wells, 86, a retired teacher and school bus driver, of Riverton, Kan., died Monday, Dec. 15, 1997, at Freeman Hospital West after a short illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church with Edward Snider officiating. Burial will be at Osborne Memorial cemetery in Joplin, Mo. Arrangements by Parker Mortuary in Joplin.
She was born in Joplin and moved to Riverton in 1971 from Odessa. She was a member of First Christian Church.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Phyllis Joy Wells Dyer of Houston; sisters, Juanita Dinwiddie of Seneca, Mo., and Barbara Ann Block of Mabelvale, Ark.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was born in Dodd City and was a resident of Arlington before moving to Odessa in 1997.

ODESSA - Fannie Rebecca Jackson, 88, a nurse, died Friday, Oct. 10, 1997, at her home.

She was born in Greenville and moved to Odessa in 1986.

ANDREWS - John-Eric Medina, 19, a student at Midland College, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church in Andrews with the Revs. John Sayger and Mike Henson officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was a lifetime resident of Andrews and Baptist.

He was born in Waco and was resident of Lubbock before moving to Odessa in 1962. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and Methodist.

MONAHANS - Charlene Thresher, 65, a retired elementary school teacher, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 1997, in Monahans.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Monahans with the Rev. Barry Klempnauer officiating. She was born Feb. 7, 1932 in Iraan, Texas, and was a 40-year member of the First Baptist Church in Monahans. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Donald Thresher of Monahans, daughter, Michelle Hill, of Dallas, and one brother, Fred W. Dry of Dallas. She also had one grandchild.
Virginia May Roden GRAND JUNCTION, CO - Virginia May Roden, 72, of Grand Junction died Wednesday, OCt. 8, 1997, at her residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Martin Mortuary, in Grand Junction. She is scheduled for cremation.
Roden was born June 23, 1925, and married
Ted Roden on May 25, 1947 in Decatur. The couple lived in Odessa 28 years.
