ROBERT LEE - Johnny V. Aycock, 75, of Robert Lee and formerly of Midland, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Robert Lee cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer Funeral Home.
He was born in Plainview. He was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: None listed.

Mary Green
KERMIT - Mary Ellen Green, 79, of Kermit, a secretary for First United Methodist Church, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Weyant and Beth Harrington officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
She was born in Creston, Iowa. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Karen Harris of Midland and Kathleen Green of Amarillo; son, Michael Green of Amarillo.

Robert Stokes
ANDREWS - Robert Stokes, 69, of Odessa, an oilfield worker, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at his residence in Odessa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born in Kennedy, Ala. He was an Air Force veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Melba Stokes of Odessa; sons, Robert Michael Stokes of Jackson, Miss., Jeffrey Allen Stokes of Houston and David Anthony “Tony” Stokes of Odessa; sister, Edna Ruth Taylor of Fayette, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

R.Q. Wolsch
ODESSA - R.Q. Wolsch, 79, of Odessa, a retired employee of B.J. Services, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at the Hospice House.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Sagerton and was a longtime resident of Odessa. He was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gloria Wolsch of Odessa; sons, Bruce Wolsch of Odessa, Robert Wolsch of Midland, Travis Starkey Jr. of Victoria and Everett Starkey of Inez; brother, Ken Wolsch of Rochester; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Efrain Baeza
ODESSA — Efrain Rodriguez Baeza, 33, of Odessa, an employee of the Ector County Juvenile Detention Center, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Sienna Nursing Care Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Chapa Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at the Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Chapa Funeral Home.
He was born in Crane.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Ralph Baeza of Odessa.

Erma Bedford
CHANDLER — Erma Jean “Tippie” Bedford, 69, of Chandler, died Friday, April 18, 2003, in Tyler.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith Tabernacle Church. Arrangements by Brooks-Sterling Mortuary.
She was born in Mexia.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Willie Charles Dancer of Waco and Billy Wayne Dancer of San Antonio; daughter, La Dawn Heyton of Chandler; sister, Era Lee Jones of Mexia; brothers, Albert Bedford Jr. of Odessa and Willie Lee Bedford of Shreveport, La.; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Ken Bost
ODESSA — Ken Bost, 54, of Odessa, died Monday, April 21, 2003, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Sunset Heights Baptist Church with Gary Kincaid officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
He moved to Odessa in 1960. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jean Jackson-Bost of Odessa; daughters, Corrie Sanchez and Michelle Jackson, both of Odessa; parents, Don and Jean Henderson of Odessa; sister, Donna Jean Henderson of Odessa; and three grandchildren.

Maria Garcia
KERMIT — Maria J. Garcia, 48, of Kermit, an employee of Kermit Health Care Center, died Sunday, April 20, 2003, in Devine.
Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at Family Services Funeral Parlor. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Waiwood officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
She was born in Pecos.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Serafin Sanchez of Kermit; daughters, Theresa Sapien and Sylvia Sapien, both of Utah, and Ruby Sapien of Andrews; mother, Elvira Gutierres of Mexico; three sisters including Ambrosia Luna of Dallas; brothers, Jesus H. Garcia and Rafael J. Garcia, both of Kermit, Manuel H. Garcia of Portales, N.M., and Ernesto Garcia of Andrews.

Lester Klasing
ODESSA — Lester Klasing, 72, of Midland, a 13-year dispatcher of C.R.C. Wireline, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Cape Girardeau. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jaunice Klasing of Midland; sons, Larry Bentley of Milburn, Okla., and Ricky Lansford of Cardiff, Calif.; daughter, Marka Gibson of Olustee, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Norma McNurlen
SAN SABA — Norma McNurlen, 72, formerly of Odessa, an antique shop owner, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Managed Care Nursing Center in Monahans.
Graveside services were April 18 at Locker cemetery in San Saba with the Rev. Judy Fitzgerald officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home.
She was born in Ranger. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Rick McNurlen of Odessa and Bo McNurlen of Plano; and two grandchildren.

Margrieute Nelson
ODESSA — Margrieute “Marge” Helen Nelson, 75, of Odessa, secretary for Nelson Office Supply, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Sams officiating. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Ballinger and moved to Odessa in 1955. She was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Noris G. Nelson of Odessa; son, Gordon “Al” Brunner of Odessa; stepsons, Frank Nelson and Lance Nelson, both of Texas; daughters, Janice Canon of Arroyo Grande, Calif., Patti Wood of San Angelo and Debbie Homfeld of Odessa; stepdaughters, Gail Jackson of Odessa and Marty Woody of Texas; 13 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

ODESSA — Mary Helen Robinette, 94, formerly of Odessa, co-owner and operator of Robinette’s Gulf Service Station in Odessa, died Sunday, April 20, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. Mark Scott officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Cumberland, Md., and was a longtime resident of Odessa. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mary Robinette Holley of Austin; son, David F. Robinette of Arlington; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Lucille Smith
ODESSA — Lucille Smith, 79, of Odessa, a former secretary for Pacific Finance, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Sherwood Place Retirement Center.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Ector County cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Braswell and Chuck Lackey officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Pioneer and moved to Odessa in 1933. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Sharon Lackey of Hamilton; son, Leslie Smith of Odessa; two sisters; four brothers; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
