MIDLAND - Ray Fairbanks, 68, of Midland died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997 at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Midland with the Revs. L. John Bueno of Springfield, Mo., Robert Slaton of Lubbock and Sammy Hayes of Midland officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Andrews North cemetery in Andrews.
He was born in Fort Worth and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a foreign missionary for the Assembly of God mission for 36 years in Belize and Haiti before moving to Midland.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jannetta of Midland; Sons, Drexel Fairbanks of Austin and Douglas Fairbanks of Midland; Sisters, Betty Timmons of Midland and Carol Neugent of Dallas.
George Kettler
MONAHANS - George Kettler, 73, a retired pipe fitter, of Monahans died Thursday, Oct. 16, 1997 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church with Father John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Pyote cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was born in Helena, Ark. and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a long time resident of Pyote.
SURVIVORS: Son, Butch Kettler of Helena, Ark.; Brother, Bill Kettler of Carson, Calif.; Sister Mary Ann Saver of Westshekan, N.Y.; two grandchildren.
June Lefler
CRANE - June Lefler, 66, of Crane died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cross and Crown Crane Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Crane and had been a resident of Crane most of her life. She worked as a home health aid and had been a cook at Dairy Mart for many years. She was a Baptist.

Felicita G. Valenzuela
MORTON - Felicita G. Valenzuela, 70, of Morton died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997 at St. Mary's Hospital in Lubbock.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Morton with the Father Ricardo Salditos officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Morton Memorial cemetery.
She was born in Redford and moved to Morton since 1962 from Artesia, N.M. She was a homemaker.

ALPINE - Agnes L. Hudson Dudley, 85, former owner//operator of Hudson's Bakery in Alpine, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1997, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.

She was born in Rising Star and was a resident of Alpine before moving to Odessa. She was a Presbyterian.

MONAHANS - Neatia E. Eaton, 88, a self-employed restaurant owner, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1997, at Monahans Senior Center.

She was born in Electra and was a longtime resident of Monahans. She was a Baptist.

SEMINOLE - Katherina Fehr, 64, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1997, at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after an illness.

She was born in Mexico and had been a resident of Seminole since 1977. She was a member of the Mennonite Church.

RANKIN - Louis Stesen, 70, retired chief dispatcher for Halliburton, died Monday, Oct. 20, 1997, at his residence.

He was born in Bethlehem, Pa., and was a resident of Rankin for 42 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict.

She was born in German, N.Y., and had been a resident of Midland since 1970.
