Robert Pechmann
ODESSA — Robert Arnold Pechmann, 70, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at his residence. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on May 19, 1932, to Louis and Emma Pechmann. He attended public school in St. Louis, Mo. He worked as an apartment manager after retiring from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service. He had been a resident of Odessa since 1996.
He was a member of Waikiki Lodge-Free/Accepted Masons, York Rite Bodies of Honolulu, Hawaii, Suez Temple AAONMS of San Angelo, Texas, Royal Order of Jesters Court 4 – San Francisco, California, and Mystic Lodge No. 2, Knights of Pythias, Honolulu, Hawaii.
A memorial service will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii, where his cremains will be interred.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Louis A.H. Pechmann.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Pechmann of Odessa; sons, Robert C. Pechmann of Denver, Colo., and Samuel H. Pechmann and John F. Pechmann, both of Odessa; daughter, Katherine E. Jenks of Easley, S.C.; brother, William G. Pechmann of Florissaunt, Mo.; sister, Doris Sorrell of Portland, Ore.; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Suez Transportations Fund, Suez Temple AAONMS, 2815 Loop 306, San Angelo, Texas 76904.
Services entrusted to Chapa Funeral Home.

R.Q. Wolsch
ODESSA — R.Q. Wolsch, 79, a longtime resident of Odessa passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at the Hospice House. He was born February 25, 1924, in Sagerton, Texas. He married Gloria Jean Smith Sept. 1, 1961, in Odessa. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from B.J. Services after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janet Pinkston; brother, Buford Wolsch; sister, Opal Hickey; and grandson, Randy Pinkston.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Wolsch of Odessa; sons, Bruce Wolsch and wife, Debra, of Odessa, Robert Wolsch and wife, Lucy, of Midland, Travis Starkey Jr. and wife, Susie, of Victoria and Everett Starkey and wife, Nona, of Inez, Texas; brother, Ken Wolsch and wife, Claudia, of Rochester, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.

Janice Kay ‘Nanny’ Camp
WEATHERFORD — Janice Camp, 62, of Weatherford, Texas, or “Nanny” as she was called by most of her family, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 23, 2003. Jan was born April 1, 1941, in Merced, Calif., to Melvin and Hester Brownen. She married Vernon Camp October 8, 1957. Jan and Vernon were best friends for 46 years and were virtually inseparable.
Nanny’s family was her life. She took pride in her family and their accomplishments. She devoted her life to raising her family and looking after them. Jan was a long time resident of Odessa, Texas, and a longtime and founding member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a Christian and through her work with her husband and children’s ministries led countless adults and children to Christ. She was currently a member of Victory Baptist Church of Weatherford. Her health prevented her from attending church as much as she would have liked in recent years, but she was a “Prayer Warrior” and ended almost every phone conversation especially those where problems were being discussed with “we’ll be praying for you.”
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Camp of Weatherford; daughter, Deana Glaze and her husband, Steve, of Weatherford; son, Keith Camp and wife, Sandy, of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Glaze, her friend, Kale Rokus, and Michael Glaze and fiancé, Jessica Rapp, of Weatherford; sister, Pat Massey and her husband, Rex, of Odessa, Texas; niece, Rexanne Wier; nephew, Doug Massey; many great-nieces and nephews and her cousin and best friend, Gail Pool of Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be Friday, April 25, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26. The burial will be at East Greenwood cemetery in Weatherford, Texas. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Robert Pechmann
ODESSA — Robert Arnold Pechmann, 70, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at his residence. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on May 19, 1932, to Louis and Emma Pechmann. Lodeamer ‘Polly’ Glidwell
ODESSA — Our precious Mother, Polly Glidwell, 75, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 3, 2003. She was born August 29, 1927, in Louann, Ark., to Archie B. and Alice Adams. She moved to Odessa in 1960 and worked as a cashier for Everybody’s Super Market and Furr’s Super Market for many years. She was a member of West Odessa First Baptist Church.
Mom met the love of her life, Johnny B. Glidwell Sr. and they married December 19, 1981, and were “soulmates” on eart until his death in 1999. They are now reunited in Heaven.
Polly was a beautiful and loving Mother to her children, Mike Stewart and wife, Kandy, JoAnn Owens and husband, Jerry, and Sheila Black and husband, Bob. She was a special Granny to her grandchildren, Justin, Michelle and Kelly Stewart, Rebecca and Coby Pond and Toni McDaniel; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Harvey Adams and wife, Betty, of Odessa; sisters, Myrtle Garner of Eunice, N.M., and Mary Sue Blair of Odessa. She was a God-grandmother to Bradley Burke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Glidwell Sr., parents and a speical grandbaby, Jason Stewart.
Mother was a gracious and beautiful lady who leaves behind many friends and family who loved and cherished her. There is now a great void in our lives, but she will forever remain in our hearts. We love you Mom.
Pallbearers are Bill Evans, Ed Taylor, James White, Mike White, Gaylon Whitley and James Rowan.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Brother A. D. Kyle officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
II Timothy 4:6-7 “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Home of Odessa.

Willie Cloninger
ODESSA — Willie Lea Cloninger, 87, a longtime resident of Odessa, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2003, at her residence. She was born July 3, 1915, to William Randolph and Margaret Lea Cantrell Jolly in Jacksboro.
She married E.D. “Buck” Cloninger June 3, 1937 in Breckenridge. He preceded her in death March 26, 1986. She was also preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
Mrs. Cloninger moved to Odessa in 1955 and had been a night watchman for Britt Trucking Company. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Sheila Hunt and Madilyn Lowman, both of Odessa; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Jesus Jimenez
ODESSA — Jesus Jimenez, 27 years of age, passed away on May 4, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born on July 3, 1975, in Del Rio, Texas, to Jesus and Concepcion Jimenez. He married Diane Montoya on February of 2000 here in Odessa.
He is survived by his wife, Diane M Jimenez of Odessa; son, Jesus Jimenez Jr. of Odessa; daughter, Iliana Gabrielle M. Jimenez of Odessa; mother, Concepcion Jimenez of Odessa; father, Jesus Jimenez of Odessa; grandparents, Jose Guadalupe and Rebeca Mariel of Odessa; brother, Gerardo Jimenez of Odessa; sisters, Marisol Jimenez, Magaly Jimenez and Mayra Saucedo, all of Odessa.
Visitation will take place today at 6924 W 18th in Odessa. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today, May 6, 2003, at the residence. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Reverend Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Reymundo White, Gerardo Jimenez, Jesus Jimenez, Jaime Luna, Pedro Avila, Ricardo Maciel, Ricardo Enriquez and Jesus Leyva.

Thomas Woodrow ‘Woody’ Peeks
BRECKENRIDGE — Graveside services for Thomas Woodrow “Woody” Peeks, age 90, of Odessa, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at the Breckenridge cemetery. Burial will be directed by Morehart Mortuary. Mr. Peeks passed away peacefully Saturday, May 3, 2003, at his home in Odessa. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2003, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Morehart Mortuary.
Woody Peeks was born on July 19, 1912, in Eolian, Texas, to parents Thomas and Alvah Peeks. Woody attended Breckenridge and Cisco schools graduating in 1930. He then married his beloved wife of 65 years, Irene Peeks, in June of 1932. Irene preceded him in death in 1998. He has now joined her so they may spend eternity together in God’s loving embrace. Woody retired in 1977 after completing 32 years of service with Texas Pacific Oil Company. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Alvah Peeks; his brother, Raye Peeks; and his half brother, Don Peeks.
Woody is survived and lovingly remembered by an only daughter, Patricia Edwards and husband, Pat, of Bakersfield, Calif.; three granddaughters, Debbie, Belinda and Cindy; three great-grandchildren, Noah, Tanya and Nicholas, all of Bakersfield, Calif.; and his nephews, Don Peeks and Joe Peeks of Breckenridge.
Woody was loved by all who knew him. He is gone from our sight, that’s all. He is still and will always remain in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or left at Morehart Mortuary.

Ken Bost
ODESSA — Ken Bost, 54, of Odessa, passed away Monday, April 21, 2003, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. A native of Eunice, New Mexico, he moved to Odessa in 1960. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1966 and then joined the Navy. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
While in the Navy, Ken was what is fondly known as a “River Rat” patrolling the rivers and canals in Vietnam. One night his unit came under heavy opposition; in the heat of an extreme fire fight Ken was able to rescue several men from certain death. Due to his gallantry, he was awarded the Silver Star for heroism as well as several other Naval and Military honors. Ken did not talk about these things very much because he was a very humble man, however, his family thought it important to mention them now.
Ken will be remembered as a loving, gentle, and very soft spoken man who was willing to do whatever necessary to help other people help themselves. He was a man of very few words who enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle. He was a special man with a wide circle of friends whose insight and compassion will be missed by many.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be Thursday, April 24, at 1 p.m. at Sunset Heights Baptist Church in Odessa with Mr. Gary Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. The family will receive friends and visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel at 1700 N. Jackson.
Ken is survived by his wife, Jean Jackson-Bost of Odessa; daughters, Corrie Sanchez and husband, Alfredo, of Odessa and Michelle Jackson of Odessa. Also by his parents, Don and Jean Henderson of Odessa; and his sister, Donna Jean Henderson also of Odessa. Ken also leaves three grandchildren, Kaira Jackson, Aleck Jarmon and Austin Sanchez, all of Odessa. He also leaves behind his special dog Sassy.
Pallbearers will be Kens special brothers, the members of the Bad Boys group, a special group of men he rode his motorcycle with. Services are under the direction of Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Tyllere Jordan Frie
KERMIT — Tyllere Jordan Frie, age 6, of Kermit, went to be with the Angels on Tuesday, April 22, 2003. Little Tyllere was born Friday, June 28, 1996 in Andrews, Texas to Tommy Joe and Tonya Renee (Myers) Frie.
This little boy was full of life! He enjoyed playing basketball and swimming like a fish. He loved wrestling, especially “Stone Cold Steve Austin” and the super hero “Spiderman”.
Tyllere was a member of the “Explorers” Sunday School Class of the First United Methodist Church. As well, he enjoyed and regularly attended Vacation Bible School and Christmas Caroling.
Tyllere was a first grade student at Wink Elementary School.
He is survived by his parents, Tommy and Tonya; one sister, Kaitlynn; and one brother, Teddy, all of Kermit grandparents, Vickie and Teddy Frie of Wink, and Bill and Helen Myers of Kermit; great-grandparents, Mary and Lowell Lund of Midland, Agnes Gran of Irene, S.D., and Glen Myers of Austin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2003, at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Joe Mohler officiating. Interment will follow at Kermit cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
