ODESSA — Nathan Allen Mazoch, 26, of Odessa, an oilfield construction worker died Monday, May 26, 2003 in Reeves County.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rosehill cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Elliot officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: son, Kody Mazoch of San Antonio; mother, Linda Crabtree of Odessa; father, David Mazoch of Schertz; grandmother, Lillie Ryba of Weimar; and sister, Tammy Canady of Odessa.

Jose Mesta
PECOS — Jose Felix Mesta, 20, of Pecos, a cable installer, died Thursday, May 30, in Pecos.
Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Sunday at 523 Bois D’arc in Pecos. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Felix and Rosa Mesta, of Pecos; brothers, Gabriel Mesta of California and Jaime Mesta of Pecos; and sister, Rosa Maria Mesta of Pecos.

John Pruitt
FORT STOCKTON — John Thomas Pruitt, 62, of Fort Stockton, died Friday, May 30, 2003.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Fort Stockton with the Rev. Earnest Wall officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery in Fort Stockton. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
He was born in Fabens.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Pat Pruitt of Fort Stockton; sons, Dwight Crelia of Houston and Mike Wright of Fort Stockton; daughter, Mellyssa Duncan of Fort Stockton; brothers, W.D. Pruitt of Fabens and James Pruitt of Fort Hancock; sister, Virginia Hollis of Tom Ball; and three grandchildren.

Joaquin Rodriguez
FORT STOCKTON — Joaquin M. Rodriguez, 34, of Fort Stockton, a teacher and volunteer firefighter, died Friday, May 30, 2003 in Fort Stockton.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial will be in Grandfalls cemetery in Grandfalls. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
He was born in Grandfalls. He was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Christina Rodriguez of Fort Stockton; daughters, Melissa, Catherine and Caitlin Rodriguez of Fort Stockton; mother, Alicia Rodriguez of Grandfalls; brothers, Reynaldo and Miguel Rodriguez, both of Artesia, N.M., Jorge Rodriguez of California, Joe Rodriguez of Houston and Adolfo Rodriguez of Grandfalls; and sisters, Eloisa Rodriguez and Amelia Cannon, both of Grandfalls, and Carmela Rodriguez of California.

ODESSA — Ester Valdez, 91, of Odessa, died Saturday, May 31, 2003 at her residence. Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Loretta Dupuy
ODESSA — Loretta Janet Dupuy, 68, of Odessa, a nurse’s aide, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Minister John Adams officiating. Arrangements by Chapa Funeral Home.
She was born in Navisa, N.M., and was a 20-year resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Alvin Dupuy of Odessa; sons, Delvin Dupuy of Dallas and Rocky Dupuy of Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Delvin Weber of Whiteface; sister, Bonnie Light of Clovis, N.M.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

CRANE — Harold “Shade Tree” Albin, 74, of Crane, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, in Crane.

ODESSA — Mildred A. Banisky, 85, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, May 23, 2003, at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church with Dr. David Mindel officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She moved to Odessa in 1951. She was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Walter Banisky of Odessa; son, Robert Bruce Banisky of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; daughter, Diana Lee Hanway of Odessa; and one grandchild.

Romana Nunez
PECOS — Romana Lara Nunez, 77, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Friday, May 23, 2003, in El Paso.
Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Florez officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Colorado City and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Rudy Nunez of El Paso; sisters, Maria Munoz and Martina Ortega both of Pecos; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

MIDLAND — Angela G. Nunez, 73, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Rosarys will be said at noon today at Martinez Funeral Home; at 7 p.m. today at Catholic Women Organization.; and at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will be held Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez and David Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery. She was born in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughter; Janie N. Rodriguez of Odessa; brothers, Victor Lipas, Ismael "Noro" Julio Nunez and Refugio Nunez, all of Odessa, and Frank Nunez of Fort Stockton; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

John Williamson
ODESSA — John Gatha Williamson, 68, of Odessa, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Reed officiating. Military graveside services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Spur. He was Baptist and an Army veteran.

PECOS — Gerald K. Lewis, 66, of Pecos, a feed lot manager, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, in Pecos.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Cienega cemetery in Dell City. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in El Paso.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary Lewis of Pecos; sons, Martin “Marty” Lewis of Portales, N.M., and Casey J. “Petie” Lewis of Sonora; daughter, Leeta Renee Everett of Pyote; brothers, Andrew Lewis of Veribest and Pete Lewis of Dell City; and seven grandchildren.
