ODESSA — Mary Silvas Cuellar, 65, of Odessa, a homemaker died Monday, April 21, 2003, at Sienna Nursing Center.

Cheryl Ann Dutton
AMARILLO — Cheryl Ann Dutton, 47, of Amarillo passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2003. She was born May 29, 1956.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2003, at N.S. Griggs & Sons Pioneer Chapel with Jim Shelburne, senior pastor of Washington Ave. Christian Church, officiating.
Cheryl was a graduate of Palo Duro High School. She attended college in El Paso. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 27 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #1361 and the Telephone Pioneers. She was baptized in North Amarillo Church of Christ.
Survivors include her mother and father, Willy and Luther Dutton of Amarillo; brother, Guy and wife, Beth Dutton of Hamilton, Ill.; niece, Amy and husband, James Gorman, of Hamilton, Ill.; nephew, Ty and wife, Jessica Dutton, of Coweta, Okla.; two great-nieces, Alexis and Chloe; special friends, Cal Wolfenberger, Nita Capell, Barbara and Darrell Howard, Loyce Allison, Mattie and Beau Kitty; and numerous friends.

Charleston Lee Marler
ODESSA — Born on October 10, 1911, Mr. Marler passed this life peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2003. A 40 year-plus employee of Gulf Oil, a WWII veteran, member of the Masonic Lodge and a longtime resident of Odessa, he moved here from Monahans in the early ‘70s.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Katherine; and is survived by three daughters, Della Highley of Dallas, Katy Shuler of Kerrville and Marilyn Veatch of San Antonio; one sister, Irene Marler of Dallas; and four grandchildren. Just like the family, was the longtime care and friendship given by the Wesley and Vickie Wilson family of Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24th, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Dorothy Richardson
ODESSA — Dorothy Jane Richardson, 80, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at the Hospice House. She was born June 7, 1923, in Prescott, Ark. She married
Jesse J. Richardson Nov. 9, 1941, in San Diego, Texas.
Mrs. Richardson moved to Odessa in 1948. She moved away for a few years and moved back to Odessa in 1983. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. During WWI, she was a riverter in an airplane factory in California. She was a past member of the P.T.A. in Hobbs, N.M. She was an excellent seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Sara Jane Vick; and her husband, Jesse Richardson.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Thornhill and husband, Larry, of Odessa; sister, Francis Lincecum of Corpus Christi; two grandchildren, Katherine Thornhill of Nashville, Tenn., and James Holt Thornhill of Odessa.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2003, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Weeks Dubose officiating.

Enedina Gomez Fuentes
ODESSA — Enedina Gomez Fuentes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, has departed this world to join our Lord in heaven. She passed away suddenly on June 28, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas.
She was born March 14, 1920, to Raymunda and Cruz Gomez. She was a very devoted wife to her husband, Luz Raymond, for 62 years. She enjoyed visiting with family, friends and also tending to her flowers. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Two sisters, one brother and one great-grandchild preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Odessa; daughter, Hope Alvarez and husband, Tony, of Liberal, Kan.; granddaughters, Rosella Russell and husband, Rusty, of Odessa; Angela Granger and husband, Jeff, of Liberal, Kan.; grandsons, Tony Alvarez Jr. and wife, Deborah, of Val Rico, Fla.; Edward Alvarez of Liberal, Kan.; and Michael Alvarez of Wichita, Kan.
She was known and loved as “Grandma Nina” to her great-grandchildren, Matthew and Patrick Russell, Brandon, Brittany and Jordyn Granger, and Christopher, Rachael and Alex Alvarez.
She is also survived by her sisters, Eloisa Alvarez and Raymunda Rodriguez of Odessa, Margarita Carrasco, Gavina Guevera and Berta Reyes, all of Mexico, Garipina Martinez of Mesa, Ariz., and Alvina Alvarado of San Jose, Calif.; along with numerous nephews and nieces that loved her very much.
She will be deeply missed by all who loved her dearly but her family takes much comfort in knowing she is at peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
